1, 5 or 7 are my choices. Great critique on the tank! The green background blends a bit too much with the green plants. But whatever makes them happy. The large anubias is too big but I like that there’s an accent plant to break up the scape. Maybe they should’ve gone with buce skeleton king or a slightly smaller epiphyte.
That buce at the front has a similar texture/colour tone as the Hygrophila when it's leaves start to go red in the bright light. I think it works quite nice but I guess it only works when all the plants are overgrown or the Hygrophila is taking up the most light.
Number 8 for me, different but very reminiscent of mangrove forest/rainforest. Thanks for entertaining us all - great little video. Reference your tank: mixed feelings about the background but the desert of sand is too much for me, an expanse of sand can work, with corydorus, leafy grass plants and ideally shimmer lighting. Love the terrestrial fern on the rock.
Hi Juri, wow hard to believe it's almost a year since you showed me around scapers lounge. Lots of changes by the look of it. I So miss your aquascaping stores. I totally agree with you about the anubias giant on the right hand side, totally out of proportion to the rest of the tank. Thanks for updating us on this one. Best wishes.
The LED background lighting looks cool and I like the color gradient, but is it making the foreground look darker? I'm imagining that same scape with a black background and it may allow some of the details in the shade under the plants to be more visible? Maybe if the light were more toward the front of the tank? But I'm sure that was considered, so maybe that would have caused too much shadow from the Pinnatifida leaves. The LED lighting does look dramatic and reminds me of a sunset. Great scape!
Sir congratulations.. appearance of your tank is so perfect. i wonder the backround led ligths of you. how did you put them back of the tank? if you show it we will be very happy ..thank you so much.
Another great video Jurijs! I agree with that anubius has to go haha and I would like to see white light screen color or blue/white. That color makes the water look tinted with tannins! Can’t wait to see your next scape!
I definitely agree that the pinnatifida needs managed. I also like the emersed growth...very easy on the eyes. I would like to have seen tank #2 finished. The scape was great so far and it was my first choice at that point but being unfinished, I could not choose #2 because I did not know what the finished product would say to my art sense. I voted tank #3 because I could picture it out in nature somewhere and my preference is for a natural scape. These tanks were all beautiful on their own merits and I commend all participants.
lovely aquarium.. really love Hygrophila Pinnatifida, one of my favs... I have to trim and re glue the new growth a lot because of my small tank.. cant wait to get a bigger tank.. and I like the back light.. I think its better than blue to be honest
Do you have any experience with hyrgo pin UK? How does it compare? Why would you pick one or the other? Why is it not as popular and seems to be rarely used? Also, I appreciate the background color. It is unique and different which I think we need more of in this hobby. Sure every scape is unique, but I think it is too rare that people try something that makes their scape look not “normal.” There is definitely a fish choice out there with colors that would make this background look super interesting and make it work really good, I think if you discovered that it would go nuts!
Hey Juris, last Saturday i visit the Scapers Lounge the first time. The main reason because i wanted to Look after your amazing peace of work. And of course to watch the other scapes an the products the have. Sadly i was to late. The reduced your scape 😒 Over all i must say most of the scapes wasnt in god shape. The state of care has suffered. Whatever. Thanks for your contend and much success for your future.
I like this video a lot :) The build video of this tank inspired me to try Pinnatifida as an Epiphyte plant and i love it. Thanks to this video i know i dont have to hold back when i trim it. Will get on it today 😎 Agree on the big Anubias. Those big types feel out of place in most aquascapes. I like the Bucephelandra though. Overall i love this aquarium. 👌
@@JurijsJutjajevs your welcome, and today i trimmed back all the Pinnatifida 🥴 i have it growing with Wheeping Moss on big pieces of wood. I couldnt trim the plants without also trimming the moss. I spend more time removing all the floating bits than it took me to trim but fingers crossed it was worth it 😉
I love the scape, the pinatifida needs to be tighter, big anubias looks out of place as you said, i need more updates on the dentist tank please... my favourite tank of all time
1 and 5 are my personal fav. 3000L! LOL assuming 20% weekly water change, the amount of water required for water change is more than the entire volume of most home aquariums.
I'm from INDIA and believe me this south Indian native plant is so hard to get. Its like 5% people on the market keeps this. Majority on TC cup though.
I like number 7. I am not a fan of background lighting, I prefer a plain black background, to me any light behind the scape only darkens it and hides the colours in shadow. I much prefer the overhead lighting, it makes the colours of the plants and fish stand out more.
Not a Flying Fox either. Flying Fox have black line on top and in their belly, but this one also does not look like a Siamese Algae Eater. Wonder what it could be then
They definitely need to change that background color. It just doesn’t fit well and seems washed out in my opinion. Definitely mutes the colors of the fish too. Other than that, I like the aged look of the tank👍
more like a western sunset but not a big fan either. Then again, I am not a fan of backgrounds other than just a straight fog film. HP to me is a cool plant but not a plant I would scape around. Once it gets going it can take over quick.

Really like the background light screen effects!!
Me too!
Love the background. Adds to the autumnal feel.
yes, it describes it well
wow amazing !!!! so beautiful !!!!
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Jurijs, always nice to get news from you. Have a good time!
Greetings from Bavaria

Cheers, greetings back 🙋♂️
Love this style a lot more than the copied photos and heavy forced perspective.
I think I will stick to NA Style for the most part, however sometimes I like to play with forced perspective too 😜
I agree very well, perspective looks nice but NA is way more beautiful
Wow this is something new ❤️💯👍
Amazing background lighting ...
Cooles Video! Aquarium 2, 3 und 5 gefällt mir am besten
Beautiful Hygrophila pinnatifida ! I shall try to add them into my scape. I would also love to see more of tank #6 George’s scape!!
It looks great!
Very nice. I vote #6 all the way. Gotta love George's scape! Love that scape. Thank you for sharing! - Little Bobby
thanks Bobby
I like the emersed plants, the bucephalandra and the large anubias

it looks swampy, but I like it 😋
Hey Juris! Unique tank! Reminds me the one with the pinatifida large rocks at the ada gallery!
hey 👋 mate, yes its where my initial inspiration came from
Great Job!

the light on this aquarium is rather not on the higher end 😉
@@JurijsJutjajevs it looks great either way man!

I have that exact same red string algae in one of my tanks. Nothing seems to be eating it. It doesn't overtake a tank quickly though like BBA.
Tank #6 for sure!
Great video!
This just inspired me to trim my ephipite pinnatifida down to the rhizome/node bits growing on the substrate.

I love number 4 😍😍
Hi Jurijs, I would like to see the setup of the tank #2 or #7. Have a good day!

What lamp did you use in this aquarium?
I don't know what the LED is, I would have used a twinstar 1200sp or ONF the flat one 3" pendant version or 2x Kessil 360x fresh

What you think about Hygrophila pinnatifida "UK" from ADA
I read the title as Hygrophila Pinnatifida rocks the 1 year old Aquascape. hahahaha
it kinda does 😂
super
I really like number 2.
I love the scape, the pinatifida needs to be tighter, big anubias looks out of place as you said, i need more updates on the dentist tank please... my favourite tank of all time
just finished maintenance session on it this morning hehe, check my instagram
Love the scape, but not a fan of the color of the light being omitted. I would like to see how that light looks with a black water setup?
I don't think this layout in particular is a great fit for blackwater
Whats name plant 05.03
just wonderful. I like your style. please come to Italy and scape a tank for me 😁😬😇
haha 😂 when the whole pandemic is over I'm open for inquiries

In background lighting
no subtitles, unlike the Green Aqua channel

its beautiful, all else is blabla
Like the lit background, but not that colour. Would look better with the blue or orange background in my opinion
full orange? 🤔
@@JurijsJutjajevs maybe so it looked like a sunrise, with darker orange at the bottom, so it would pick out the colour of the Pinnatifida 🙂
Pinnantifida is cool, but it attach itself to anything it can reach

Green backlight hides fish coloring and fades unique natural palette of individual plants, stone, texture etc. Loss exceeds gain.
True words, nonetheless I like it, it’s unusual
