A co2 reactor would work amazing on this tank. I used to be hesitant on them but Green Leaf Aquariums makes an amazing one. Given it is another connection, their connections are top notch however!
Love that aquarium! I remember when you first set it up in the office! Beautiful and very serene! Perfect for that type of environment! Thanks for the video Jurijs! Keep on scaping!
This tank looks so good now! So cool how it’s covered all of the rocks! Love the fish choice too! Cardinal tetras are one of my favorite! Hope all is well with you the misses and bunny’s Jurijs!
It looks really great! I am wondering what's the secret? I also tried to attach Pinnatifida to the rocks and for a few months it was great but then it began to rot and loosing leaves. Nothing changed in the tank and other plants are flourishing. I am still struggling. Recently I decided to plant it in the substrate next to the rocks and see if maybe it will climb and root in the rocks. I wonder if it will help.
Hii Jurijs! Thanks for answering my questions!! Absolutely stunning scape. One of my personal favourites. I totally forgot about the comment i made on IG, so it was a nice surprise to see my comment in the video. Also, i meant to ask about trimming the right side when right handed. Especially the right corner.
Because of your video on the previous pinatifida tank, it inspired me to make one myself. Hopefully it's roots wrap around like this tank. albeit I planted pinatifida while I had hardcape and fish in it so hope it does well
Great stunning looking tank! Do you adjust the timer of the RO in Winter/Summer. During Winter, tap water is much colder, so the RO works a little slower, right? I alos woud be interested in the safty system, which shuts off the RO.
Usually the timer runs a little longer than needed and is shut off by the water sensors, and the sensors alarm is shut of by the timer shortly after that. That’s the sensors I use amzn.to/3x5OeLE
Hi Jurijs, great video but lacking maybe 1 or 2 things i would like to see (1) the link to the programmable dimmer (2) the white stuff you add in the end, is that R/O minerals?
@@JurijsJutjajevs Thank you, ordered this together with a Twinstar Light III 450SA for my 50cm tank. I also ordered the Aquario Neo Flow Premium V2 that you reviewed. Damn you are bad for my wallet...
Last month i attach some pinnatifida to rocks, not with glue just slip them between rocks. Today all of them only have 2 remaining leaf with healthy roots. I hope new leaf will come soon
I've always failed with Pinnatifida, same with the guy who posted the question. Other plants doing good while Pinnatifida will melt away after about 4 months? It will do well initially. I really think it's the temperature as I live in a country where it gets to 30 degrees most times. Kinda funny when Pinnatifida UK is originally from India (tropical country). Could it be that the tissue culture made these plants prefer colder climates?
@@Patrickjk Great. But my question was regarding the tissue culture (TC) variant, and if they might somehow prefer colder temperatures. Did you get yours from TC or was it from a local shop in India or from what brand was it? In emersed form or?
@@thefullstop23i have tried both ADA (UK variant) and Greenwater aquascapes (Indian tc brand). Both were doing good. Emersed grown pinatifida melted away after a few weeks.
You can plant invitro close below the surface and it will grow out on it’s own, or you have to buy the potted version, which you can plant below water with stems growing out of water
Man I need to convince my dentist to get a tank like this...
Yes, don’t tell him about maintenance fee 😂
Growth looks insane
🤩🤩🤩really one my favorite scape... So beautiful !!

Love it. Your presentation skills have improved a lot in 2.5 years!
Specially when Logan is filming 😜

Thanks Mike, this one has been now running for a couple years and I’m slowly thinking about version 3.0 😉

A juicy information about remineralizing the RO water would be cool too! 😀😀
I have covered this topic in a future video, stay tuned.

As long as you have good CO2 levels it will grow like a weed
@@JurijsJutjajevs no CO2 unfortunately :( just ferts, root tabs and plenty of plant lighting
A such bold scape! Nice job!
Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks, I hope to visit Brazil one day
@@JurijsJutjajevs you're welcome!
I used to grow pinnatifida like a weed on a 30 degrees C, keys on my success are strong light, good co2 and tons of potassium ferts 😁
I would say, good CO2 is most important in any scenario clapo
Looks so good dude!
Spectacular tank! 👏👏
Stunning tank, I wish my dentist had this!
Send him this video 😉
I would visit my dentist much more often if he had such an aquarium 😄💚
Send him a link to this video 😜
With so much talent. You should realy post more video 🙂
Now back to weekly 😉
Very unique. Bravo 🎊
Thanks for the video
If I want it to grow compact, is it better to plant it or fix it on wood, or does this not affect the shape?
If it gets nutrients from the ground, it will grow quicker
Hello Juris. This aquarium is stunning! Will you please add the link to the live stream where you trim the Pinnatifida?

Great Video 😉
Stunning tank! May I know what is the solution you've added on timecode 12:13 .
minerals for RO water
안녕하세요.
피나디피다 잎이 하나씩 떨어지는 현상은 무엇 때문일까요?
Beautiful!
Nice video. Did i see it correct that you add pure RO to the aquarium and remineralizing it in the aquarium, what is your TDS value?
Yea that’s what I do. TDS is 125-150

Hi Jurijs, great video but lacking maybe 1 or 2 things i would like to see (1) the link to the programmable dimmer (2) the white stuff you add in the end, is that R/O minerals?
White stuff is JBL aquadur RO minerals, link to the little remote thing is now in the description 😉

Hi Jurijs, amazing tank!
What type of minerals do you use?
Currently JBL aquadur, nothing fancy, but it seems to work. My only complaint: it’s only available in this tiny jars..
Wahnsinn so geil 👍👍
Danke, da geht man gerne zum Zahnarzt 😜
Amazing love it
Really nice Tank 👊🏻
Hi, what is the cloudy solution you put in at the end of the video?
Minerals
Amazing Job 🤌
Last month i attach some pinnatifida to rocks, not with glue just slip them between rocks. Today all of them only have 2 remaining leaf with healthy roots. I hope new leaf will come soon
Sounds weird, usually pinnatifida is not losing its leafs. Make sure you have the proper conditions
I noticed you washed the oase pre-filter media with tap water, doesnt that kill a lot of benificial bacteria?
I don’t care about beneficial bacteria in the prefilter. The main filter is full of biological media and is washed with aquarium water only
Hallo Jurisj, Dein T Shirt ist eher inoffiziell, oder? Zumindest finde ich es nicht im Store?

Is that a new Mosscotton design you're wearing??
Maybe 😉

I had pinnatifidas thriving for a year at 31-32 deg c. From south of India.
@@Patrickjk Great. But my question was regarding the tissue culture (TC) variant, and if they might somehow prefer colder temperatures. Did you get yours from TC or was it from a local shop in India or from what brand was it? In emersed form or?

TC is not changing the plant, it’s only a way to propagate it. Low CO2 levels and higher temps are my best guess why yours is melting
What kind of lamp do you use to make it look bright but like it's dark?
It’s inside a cabinet no light spill
Any suggestion to grow hygrophila pinnatifida out of the water? I mean, how can be successfully used as a wabi-kusa plant? Thanks.
You can plant invitro close below the surface and it will grow out on it’s own, or you have to buy the potted version, which you can plant below water with stems growing out of water
your inline-co2 was leaking.
did you use hose clamps?
I did! The Diffusor literally broke apart

Your shirt, is that Herry Rasio merch???
It’s “Mosscotton x Herry Rasio” colab
Why is the tank look like it's in low light, like the forest floor, when its high light?
The lights are dimmed 50% and it’s 70cm tall, plants growing on rocks cast shadows
