I’ve found that Staurogyne Repens works well for carpeting without CO2. Especially in a shallow tank. You can take trimmings and plant nearby and it fills in very nicely.
Thanks for the support, glad you like what we do. Our production quality can only be ensured with weekly one video - on Thursday, with occasional cinematic short on Monday. We simply can't do more, we spend too much time with the production - more than you can imagine. Plus we're answering all comments, I don't know many youtubers who do that.
The only plant I got red color from in a low grade tank was Melon plant, and I had to add liquid iron daily. I love to listen to your accent and you do really well with English. Keep up the good work! WV USA
Really glad that they touched on how setup can impact plants in ways other than 'it won't grow'. In particular, as a beginner doing low tech I was extremely frustrated trying to get reds into the tank because they just wouldn't do it. Lots of internet wisdom led me to trying to dose more iron, putting red potters clay in the substrate, and any number of other things all to no effect. I'd also never heard it called ARM- always "AR Mini" here in my local.
Today, 3 months into my high tech nanoscape, I hate stem plants too. I never knew why you guys didn’t like it but now I know. Two bowls of trimmed plants was ridiculous lol.
