Just to clarify, this board uses a 4+2 Stage VRM controller. The design uses 3 x 50A power per stage on each VRM. Best bang for the buck motherboards for AM4 solutions all the way up to the 16 core 3900X and beyond. Thanks for the sharing your thoughts.

That's why i bought it...for only 150 Euros. Steal for an actually very good X570 board. Kinda wonder about Asus. They actually nailed this. MSI for the same price range is garbage in comparison

    • @tonkatoytruck

@@SpartanDeluxe I think MSI was trying to use their good reputation from the B450 boards to cash in on loyal MSI customers who just assumed MSI would also make good X570 boads that are affordable somewhat. Just goes to show. Always do your homework and don't be a fan boy of any mfg. forever.

Hi there, I've got a few questions about this board. I don't play games(I'm nearly 60yo) but I do a lot of video editing for friends and photo editing type stuff. I really like, fast, well behaved computers.
I have a Ryzen 5 2400G and Gigabyte aurous pro b450. I'd like to upgrade to the Asus TUF X570 plus board with a Ryzen 7 3400G.
Will I be able to run 2 monitors from the HDMI and Display port from the IO panel? And also will I get pci 4.0 from this cpu?
    Thanks in advance
    Greg

Honestly I have this board and my personal issue with it is the fact that the CHASSY FAN 1 is placed in a very ODD location as you'd have to run a cable all the way across a different location.. I have not seen any work arounds and overall makes my cable management a mess.

@@mountanarivera4450 Any GPU you put on this board is going to cover the chipset fan. If your GPU doesn't then what are you doing with this motherboard? LOL but seriously, it doesn't effect the cooling of the chipset really. I have a GTX970 on this board and of course it covers the fan and there are no issues with cooling. With Aida64Extreme running a full stress test (cpu/gpu stress) the PCH sensor is reporting a solid 60C at idle or full stress.
In other words, the temperature of the chipset is a non-factor regardless of the GPU you stuff ontop of it.

its an AMD socket motherboard man, if u dont have the knowledge to read a socket i wouldn't recommend building, just get prebuilt instead of potentially getting a intel processor on an AMD socket motherboard. Also why not buy an AMD cpu anyway? some high end Ryzen 7's are better than an i9, and way more energy efficient aswell man. Intel legit arent making CPUs anymore because AMD has just gotten better and better.
