6:07 yup. Full tank of gas, cleaned up if possible, doesn't need to be detailed, but no junk inside. All tires aired up etc. Common courtesy. Seems such an impossible thing these days and whenever i do this, people are so shocked, especially return "customers". One year, i kept borrowing a ditch witch from a local business, it's one of those pieces of equipment that you either own for a reason or don't. On the fourth return, the machine cleaner than taken, the guy asked me what's the deal, i told him and he couldn't compute it. Which is weird to me, because i was younger, and that's how my uncle raised me and my brother. Someone does you "a solid" as you fellows over the pond say, you do one back. Be nice to people and respect their property, now that's something that should be taught in schools.
What about building one of those lift bars that’s on a heavy wrecker? It comes out off the stinger and has the two u shaped things that goes under the front axle. I don’t know the terminology haha but if you could make that part but have it be able to pivot you could hook into it with the gradal forks and be able to just scoop up and go
I think for moving trucks around all the time I would build a fork attachment for the gradeall that has axle forks. Reach underneath and lift it and away you go.
2:36 a few years back i saw one of those loaders with a modified chassis. The idea was that the operator would lift the whole thing as you did, then the mechanism that's usually on the back of a city wrecker would slide under the wheels and allow the telly to pull the vehicle with relative ease.
Great video J.C.Smith always enjoy watching you move vehicles around your shop. Organize and condense or a load of scrape. Thanks for sharing Mr & Mrs J.C.Smith to bad the video cut off about the Silver Cummins would have liked to hear the end of the story.
Next time put the chain through a fire hose like old one that'll give you like a cover for the chain so it won't it did come in contact it won't scratch Chrome or metal
Question we have a Internstional 4300. Hyd brakes has a 26ish foot bed . The gvwr is like 11,200lbs. Is That what the truck can haul, or is that the total the truck can weigh with the load. I know for the size of it, it really can haul much.
Why you bother putting your hair up for a group of guys wanting the JC Smith experience. You clean things up too much and you won’t feel at home with all that room to work.
you dont have o watch long to know, when i do something, i do i all i can. the shop is no different. these are changes i have needed and wanted to make. just didnt make the time to do it. an empty shop is the perfect time.
what a cliff hanger .. just starting to get the story of the water pump .... and then ....... crickets ...

Still waiting for part 2
That ending was so cruel.
Thanks for the video!
What a cliff hanger !!! I want to hear the rest of the story on that cummins !!! 😂

Would love to see a tour of the shop now

it would take lots of time and a tremendous amount of steel. that would reduce the amount the gradall would lift.
Just love all the content more and more makes me excited for what is to come 💯💯👍👍
The quickest way to get your truck back is to send them a huge bill 😮

that is a great jump box !
the trailer needs a few deck screws ....
I have plenty of room at my place for extra trucks 😁

your looking at the kilograms. not pounds. that is likely a 26,500lbs gvwr. probably weight 12,000 llbs to 13,000lbs empty.
@@j.c.smithprojects ahh, that makes more sense . Thanks. We haul hardwood lumber so it don’t take much to overload it
International durastar will sell.
Get a hat, hot glue a GoPro mount to it. And put GoPro on said mount, that’s what a couple guys I watch do, and works good
@j.c.smith yes, get that hat!!! If you forget and hot glue the GoPro directly to the forehead that leaves nasty blisters and peeling skin 😂🤣🙃
i hope i never have to own another gopro in my life. absolute miserable experience with all of them.
June 17th 2024 It is what it is
I mean heaven forbid you ask for your truck back
I told him twice that i need it. i am going to have to go get it.
Wassup
