Could this be one of the reasons why people get addicted to some things more easily. Because there mum was all ready taking it and putting into them when pregnant?
If they was sick a bit later on after having 1 energy drink or a few in a week. Sometimes people might not think or know there body doesn't agree with something
"...Being able to wake up and go do something, without annihilating my body with a substance" is exactlyhow I felt the last two days waking up and exercising without 100 juul hits and a cup of coffee...
I quit drinking energy drinks but Monster Zero gave me the energy I needed to function during battling my restrictive eating disorder in college so it’s always gonna have a special place in my heart
I remember I set out to try a new flavor of Bang once a day. After only 4 or 5 days an energy drink would only make me feel normal for a couple hours, not energized. I'd feel exhausted and depressed the rest of the day and night. Not worth the experiment! I dropped the habit within the month. Had no idea daily caffeine consumption leads to osteoporosis. That's scary! Learned a lot in this video. Thanks.
Yeah not worth it! And I would not go as far as to say daily consumption leads to it... but in my case the nicotine and caffeine abuse did not help. But I am pretty sure it does seep calcium from the bones.
Finally I've found the answers I've been looking for Thanks. I also realized the more caffeine/energy drinks the more impulsive, forgetful, lethargic and psychotic I become. Smoking nicotene increased but also the ability to say no to other addictions....junk food etc.
I am addicted to Monster. Tomorrow will be my third day free of it or any other carbonated soft drink. I am homeless so everyday I buy the food I am going to eat. I walk past the Monster and they look so good. However, I know that I need to give my body a break and allow it to heal. I cannot say that I will never drink Monster again, but I am aiming for one month without it and then I will see how I feel. Good luck, friends.
I was drinking an ultra white monster every single day. Sometimes even 2. It’s been a week since I last drank a monster and I feel so depressed. Im trying to push through this but it’s so hard
Oh thank you so much what you say is all true. Im a 66 yr old retired nurse ive bin addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and coffee. I did manage to ditch the cigarettes 12 yrs ago but whent through a terrible depression AND i increased my coffee intake to compensate. I need to stop coffee but cant and im suffering from chronic insomnia and depression. I agree go cold turkey cutting down down does,nt work. Thank you for this video.💞
I was drinking a white monster everyday for several months then I started having a persistent heavy chest feeling, abnormal heartrates, pain in my veins arm/legs, waking up in the middle of the night with headaches. I didn’t connect those symptoms to the monsters at first, I gave it up last week and slowly feeling normal again. I feel like I am still going through withdrawals though.
@@Sarahizahhsum Still clean from energy drinks, haven’t had one since then. I do occasionally have coffee but usually make it pretty weak and don’t have more than a cup in a day.
Preach it! I had some friends in the Special Forces community, and let me tell you, they don't touch this stuff. They also don't touch coffee, nicotine, or sugar. They're the highest energy, fastest lifestyle guys I know, and they won't touch any of this crap.
That's exactly right! In the conventional military, caffeine and nicotine usage is ubiquitous, even among the upper ranks. However, in the SF community, they don't touch any of this stuff.
Today is starting me breaking my extremely bad energy drink addiction. I’m 23 and have been drinking energy drinks since I was 6. I currently consume 3 Bangs, 1 C4 and 1 Monster a day. I’m hoping this can be a fresh start for me
Because they might be thinking this is never going to happened to me. Some people might still be shocked. If something goes wrong from having lots of energy drinks everyday
You're craving nicotine because you're niacin (nicotinic acid) deficient and very likely also silica deficient. I live in a town full of Irish or "Scots-Irish", whatever you prefer. Almost all of them smoke cigs or vape. Their growth is typically stunted with the guys averaging 5 ft 4. Caffeine could very well make their situation worse (e.g. bones) as it is a strong diuretic making them lose nutrients like niacin and silica.
Dude I had a celsius everyday for 6 months and someone pointed out to me one day that I had a pulsing forehead vein. It’s a huge insecurity now so I think it’s time to stop
I've recently started drinking more energy drinks as I had three assignments due for Uni that spanned over the last 4 weeks, I was working nonstop and using them to keep me up but I have no more assignments now just my Masters research project which is due in September. However, I am literally drinking a cold can of Monster: Juiced and its soooo good, I normally hate the taste of energy drinks but this one is like a nice, mango sherbet flavour and I am honestly seeing the appeal in these drinks. So, in the space of 4 weeks i've went from seldom consuming energy drinks to drinking at least one a day, I know, its nothing shocking but one turns into two and then into three... then boom! You wake up one morning with a headache (perhaps feeling a bit groggy) which seems to be alleviated after a few sips of your chosen drink. Hell, even soft drinks like Pepsi Max (caffeinated type) do the same thing. I also like how they have a sprinkling of B vitamins Marketed on the cans, that's honestly like putting lettuce on top of a grease drenched pizza 😂 Its brand priming, from the loud packaging, to the taste, to social proof where everyone around (i.e at University) are consuming these drinks. "Oh 18-24 year olds generally hate the taste of coffee, lets make something addictive that also tastes good and is going to stick out like a sore thumb in a bleak college library at 8am where everyone is tired and needing something to give them a little boost"
