Coke energy might be worse. Because they might drink more of them thinking they are having less. When they could be having the same of other ingredients in the drink as if they was drinking Monster
I got hooked on pre workout powder and now I'm dealing with constant inflammation all over my joints and muscles some days I can't put on my socks without struggling and can't sneeze or it hurts can't cough can't lift weights everything hurts
Definitely started with energy drinks at age 12. Moved onto thc and nicotine when I was older and was doing all 3 all day everyday. No more I’m done with it all. Your videos are a life saver
I am addicted to monster energy drinks. Sugar free, quitting now. It is horrible. I feel so tired, so demotivated. So depressed so anxious. I am a week in, I hope it gets better.
I used to drink them along with soda as a teenager. I went to basic training and couldn’t have them and realize how much better life is without them. 15 years later, I haven’t touched an energy drink since. Now, I just drink decaffeinated coffee in the morning and the occasional soda once a week or 2 weeks.
@@AddictionMindset I don't know how or why I became addicted to caffeine. I never drink coffee or tea. I had an alcohol and nicotine addiction which I kicked three years ago so my guess is my addictive personality has something to do with it. Anyways, my anxiety and depression has become almost unmanageable, I'm an avid soccer player and my stamina and endurance has decreased dramatically. I'm basically afraid of running too hard for fear of a stroke or heart attack. I haven't had a good night's sleep in a long time. And it's a very expensive habit!
Overdosed on 1000 mg of caffeine. Had a manic episode. Saw demons fencing around me and heard voices. Contemplated suicide because everything bad in my life was thrown at me. I ended up having a seizure that same day. Stayed awake for over 30 hours. Never touching caffeine again. Currently going through withdraw of caffeine weed nicotine. Life is bland and boring right now
Monster addiction. I'm on day four without, yesterday I threw up at work twice, got a splitting headache, still have a headache, tylenol doesn't touch it. Went a year with only water, before that had one monster a day. After I relapsed I drank 3-5 monsters a day for six months until four days ago. I cant wait to get through this, f*** monster.
I was at exactly the same place and could easily drink a coffee in the morning before school and in the rest of the day drink 2-3 monster energy drinks, which would really keep me back in fat loss (I'm an amateur bodybuilder). At the moment I'm 2 weeks clean from energy drinks and only drink an espresso with 0 sugar in the morning and don't plan to go back to energy drinks. It really made me have more energy, not feel ''bored'' so easily and helped me in my bodybuilding journey! I'm not planning on going back that's for sure!
I was also addicted to energy drinks 3 cans a day 1 when i woke up,1 before hitting the gym and 1 after lunch on my days off. At work was 1 when I woke up 1 in my first break 1 in my second break. I finally decided to quit 3 days ago I have side affects like really bad headache like someone is hitting a axe in my head the whole time and Im very tired I sleep like 10/11 hours a day. But it's better to quit cause it's better for your health. And exactly what he said : " The thing that gives you energy takes all your energy."
I’ve been drinking energy drinks every day for fifteen years and the past year I’ve tried to quit so many times. I’m tired all the time now to the point I wanna sleep every day no matter how much sleep I’ve gotten the night before. Energy drinks do nothing for me anymore but I still can’t make it past a week without one. Watching this made me want to buy a pack of smokes and a red bull though 😂
I'm at day 1 without energy drinking- my teeth have taken severe damage from them (i googled pictures), so its time to quit. I am tired and cranky. Hope its getting lighter soon
Started with monsters, added coffee to repetoire, upgraded to bangs and caffiene shots then after years finally hit the wall with all the same symptoms you mentioned. Had all the paranoia of something autoimmune too. Never smoked though, neither cig nor vape. Always protected my lungs but caffiene was/is my demon. Cold turkey is the only way that worked.
My favorite was the white Monster to! 🥴 lol. I would have 3 a day, wake and bake, you name it (no alcohol in 2 years though 👍). I’m on day 4 without any weed, and decided to give up the energy drinks also. My anxiety is bad enough with the weed withdrawal but I staying committed and yeah detoxing sucks but if anyone is reading this.. hang in there! You’re not crazy, you’re recovering. I felt so disconnected from reality, the anxiety is crippling at times.. but one thing I haven’t heard Dr. Frank talk about yet is replacing anger and/or irritability with empathy towards others, and most importantly, yourself. Thank you Dr. Frank Oddly enough, whenever I was really high on weed and adrenaline, your videos would get recommended in my feed 🤔. Buzz kill bro lol. Just kidding. Thank you thank you thank you !
I woke up today and some somehow I got your recommendations And I realize I needed it so much because everything you talk about stuff I deal with and I wasn't even looking the stuff up. Kind of feels like a second and wake up call
I quit back in the beginning of april 2020 . before that my blood pressure was at 110, had muscle twitching, a horrendous sleeping schedule and depression. had been drinking two a day for about 3 and a half years and I honestly were just sick of them. I told myself that i could only drink one a day. Later i switched to only half a glass a day. The day when I was suppose to only have half i glass I only took one sip. after that i poured it out. later that day after school when I got back home I noticed that I still had one can of monster left. I thought to myself well...one last can can't hurt..right? then i remembered all the side effects that came along with them and how little they had actually helped me with really anything, so i poured is all out. That was the last energy drink in my house. Now i mostly drink tea and carbonated water. Besides! energy drinks are super expensive here in Sweden, so i saved a ton of money by quitting them. My tips to anyone that's trying to quit, start of easy and set boundaries when it comes to your consumption of energy drinks and slowly but surely consume less and less of them and try something new such as tea or flavored water. This video was great and everything you said in it hopefully makes alot of people take the step towards a healthier lifestyle. You will feel so much better once you stop drinking them trust me, from a former energy addict to you.
I’m Swedish too, although I live abroad and I am in the same exact situation. I’ve been addicted to Red Bull specifically for a few years and I drink everything from 3 to 5 a day. living abroad it’s been way cheaper for me to sustain this lifestyle which definitely has not served me. I have the same symptoms with severe muscle spasms in every section of my body, eye twitching, heart palpitations I mean the list goes on. it’s been hard for me to identify if this has been from the Red Bull or if I am developing ms or some other neurological disorder which is a terrible feeling. watching this video and reading this comment gave me a lot of insight of how bad it really is and also a bit of relief that this most probably is from the Red Bull. I will try my hardest to quit and pray that the symptoms goes away with the Red Bull. thanks for spreading the awareness. much love

I couldn't work out before i stopped, or if I I tried I was only able to go for around 10 minutes before i had to call it quit. The idea of ending up in hospital and not being able to feed my addiction while trying to get better, and suffering in silence because I am too ill to tell my nurses, was such a scary thought that I stopped my addiction cold turkey the day that this thought scenario entered my head. Now, should I fall gravely ill (which is just one car accident away, actually…), I will have my full strength intact in order to battle my way back to health. And I won’t have to suffer doubly in silence, because of withdrawal symptoms that my doctors aren’t even aware of. When I quit, the withdrawal was bad, but my surroundings could support me mentally and practically because I could talk about it. I got through it, and I am NEVER going back! You could cut down gradually, which suits some, but for me that was just drawing out the suffering unnecessarily long, and risking falling back into the addiction again, frankly. I hope you find the courage to stop the way that suits you, and do tell your surroundings about it, so that you can get their sympathy and support! Best of luck!
