I gave up energy drinks this week, and I honestly can say I haven't felt so energized in my life. I did accidently consume a sugar free soda today which had a small amount of caffeine, but otherwise I've been caffeine free for a whole week. No energy drinks, thats what's most important. I have noticed that I actually feel like I have more energy than normal. Normally when I get home from work, I'll take like an hour sometimes 2 hour nap, and barely have the energy to do anything. This week, I've taken no more than like a 20 minute nap. Although I'm waking up frequently throughout the night, I actually feel more energized in the mornings than I normally do. The first couple days were really tough. I was having bad headaches, but now I honestly feel better than ever. I've also noticed that my ability to focus has improved throughout the week. I just got my tefl certification. I've been taking online classes. Throughout most of it, I was having trouble focusing on thr courses, but this week I was able to blast through it without major issues. I really feel that giving up energy drinks so far has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I've honestly never felt better in my life, be it mentally or physically. I'm so glad I found your channel, and it's helped me kick nasty addictions to the curb. I've given up caffeine (except for today's slip up, but at least it wasn't an energy drink relapse, which is what I'm more concerned with), and I'm almost 2 weeks nicotine free. I did relapse on my giving up alcohol goal because I didn't bother to throw away a few cans of alcohol seltzer waters, but that's something to work through. Although I haven't watched porn at all this week, I still find myself masturbating just as much.
I used to have around 1.5 grams to 2 grams of caffeine a day... yes grams... not milligrams. I would go to bed everyday with a headache, heart palpitations, and be on the verge of psychosis always. I've been caffeine free for 10 days. The first four days of no caffeine I had a fever, sinus infection, terrible muscle aches, and obviously no energy. I slept for 18 hours on day two of no caffeine. After being caffeine free for 10 days, I still feel like I have brain fog but man my life is way calmer now than it used to be. TL;DR Caffeine sucks. Don't use it.
I'm like you I can drink 2 energy drinks and a few mountain dews no problem a day. Trying to balance 16 hour shifts and 2 toddlers I know I need to quit but afraid how long the withdrawal is going to be. Wish you all the best in right behind you
Im not a fan of energy drinks but I do drink between 5 to 10 coffees a day. Can you do a vid on caffeine addiction in general? Pretty sure I'm heavily dependent and have been for a long time. Love your vids btw, I'm on my second day of quitting vaping/smoking and feeling good!
What if I am prescribed stimulants for adhd? I just want to quit caffeine to stay more level-headed. Because i am tired of mood swings and anxiety. But I am still dependent.

If they don't have a Energy drink everyday. But every week. Can they still be addicted to them ?
With out caffeine people sleep better and go into deeper sleeps. With out waking up in the middle of the night
