Th side effects from energy drinks will vary greatly from person to person. People often warn about the cardiac risk associated with energy drinks but fail to warn about the impact of energy drinks on the nervous system over time.
Red-bull, Monster, Bang, Rockstar, all have dependence and addiction potential possible.

Sounds like you got dysautonomia from the abuse
Dude the shaking hot flashes and sweating is caffeine withdrawal ? I thought I was losing my shit !
Im adidicted to the point I workout as an excuse to use it! Im in fantastic shape, but this videos made me realize and internalize the danger and stupidity of my behavior, I hope is not too late for me, thank you for sharing
Preworkout has destroyed my life
How so ?
Same
This sounds like me! 25 years of energy drinks, pre-workouts, alcohol and eventualweed addiction. Can you recommend any supplements to detox your system from caffeine?
Rutacarpine removes caffeine from your system quickly
I just called and left a message. You're video describes me to a t.
Hi! Just sent you a text! Happy to help you out!
i can totally relate. actually my addiction to all of this was much worse even :/ and pretty much daily for about 15 years. allmost two weeks clean from it all now, still feeling pretty slugish, but i have to stop because all the side effects makes me feel really bad. im allmost 29 yo
Is it bad to use them just for workout days like MWF pre workout and the other 4 days off
Do you think it’s okay to use energy drinks and preworkout as needed though? Like not as an addiction?
I can pick up and put down caffeine as I please but it helps me with some stuff. Like if I have to study hard or I have a tough workout on low energy.
I drink a cup of coffee most mornings but I’m so glad I never got into energy drinks and pre-workouts.
I’ve never taken pre-workout and I can count on one hand the amount of energy drinks I’ve ever had. In terms of supplements I’ll stick to my multivitamin, creatine and protein powder.
Wait at the end you freaked me out...so is the nervous system damage permanent? I was addicted to preworkout for less than a year and did have occasional periods of a few weeks off of it. I recently quit because I started feeling like crap even when taking it. Will I have permanent damage after I go through withdrawals?
No not at all you would know if you were having problems like I had
@@AddictionMindset damn I’m experiencing that been abusing stims since I was 16 now 31.
I use sugar free energy drinks, 300 or more daily
How much caffeine do you think you were using a day if you don't mind me asking
If its not a energy drink. One can of soda a day might not affect everyone that much.
I wouldn't consider myself addicted to these products.. I've used pre-workout almost on the daily before and haven't for almost a year now, but I'm wanting to get back into it because I feel it can be a really good tool if used properly (in moderation). Any tips on or strategies to prevent developing addiction or dependence on pre but still use it a fair amount?
My honest advice stick to a product that is low in stimulants..... and not everyone will develop this issue who uses them. Personally though I would say avoid the preworkout stuff and go natural as possible, use coffee for a boost or something like that. There is no question they work, but long term idk if it’s worth it. It was not for me
I tried that and even working out twice a week with pre workouts my mental health went to shit and I would end up feeling just like doc says
I have monster energy drink but not every day. Maybe I might not know I'm addicted.
Maybe 10 or 6 could be to young for a energy drinks.
Why do they not do so much of monster energy drinks. in a normal can size like the other sodas ?
Great video!
Thank you!!
Great video!
Thanks!!! The pre workout was a major issue for me as well
@@AddictionMindset I took some this morning and I don’t want to anymore. It’s been a long time of using it so I’m pretty scared
