Always my Mother’s day gift to my daughter. Going to the greenhouse and plant talking and shopping and paying for her plants. It’s a gift to myself to have her, by herself, in a greenhouse.
They do SUCH a good job. I wish this kind of joy spread to more areas across the country. We have so many incredible things we can grow if we could just get our hands on them!
This was such a fun video to watch! The apple mint is delicious… Especially in new potatoes with a bit of butter. I heard Monty Don mentioning this and he was absolutely correct!❤
Kevin from Epic Gardening grows African Blue Basil because he says it’s one of the best pollinator attractors. I believe in zones 9 and up it’s a Perennial . I finally found one this year! Also Amanda with She’s a Mad Gardener started growing heirloom chrysanthemums. I’ve been following that process and it’s been incredible!! They are so stunning, unique and special!!!
Ok. I LOVE to know this! We just got classified as a zone 9, but there’s no way we actually are. I wonder how easily I could protect it to see what happens.
My front walk looks like a nursery right now with all the plants. I’m excited we have nice weather here in PNW over the next week. Maybe I can get some planted. I’ve been like you at the sale. I buy things I have no room for planting. I’ve started borrowing my neighbors little bed since it’s technically on my side of the property. 😁😁🪴. I love your content! ❤️
Thanks for watching! And no need to go overboard like me. I have the space and the passion. Honestly, I find that even just a simple herb pot changes everything.
Regarding the purple shisto being invasive, be careful because the seeds start very early under the leaves and you don’t even know it’s seeding. Had it seed all over the yard. Keep us updated please. Found you through Janie and love your vibe
I know… I uploaded one this morning and had two comments that the music was too loud so we adjusted it, changed the other to private and then re-uploaded it! Kind of a pain, but the audio is much better now.
I started several Brandyfred from seed and they grew into beautiful chunky plants which *sadly* did not produce any fruit. I hope you have better luck!
I go broke every time I shop for plants but I am going to have to add Filth to my calendar for next year.❤ Do you have more info about the October sale that you mentioned?
“I couldn’t make up my mind…… so I have 18 chrysanthemums” the best line 😂
It seemed rational at the time. 😵💫
So much to “exercising self control” 🤣🌸👌🏻 love it 🩷
Oh my gosh, I don't think that I could make up my mind and would want them all
Thanks for taking us along
What a delight to tag along with you at this plant sale, Kate!! 🌻
So glad you did! 💞
You are too funny; I too love plant shopping. I think I will gift myself some for Mother's Day 🤭

You should! It's the best gift. ☺️
I went plant shopping this morning and I admire your restraint with so many beautiful plants for sale.
I could’ve easily spent twice the amount, but I feel like I still went a bit nuts. 🤣 It’s so hard not to get excited when they have so many goodies!
I love this! It would be hard to not over buy. I have 40 tomatoes and 50 peppers in the ground so far. I’ll plant a few more peppers. Happy Gardening!
This was like me shopping at our local gardening group fundraiser sale. I hit the last 10 minutes when everything is 1/2 off and just go NUTS 😂
Oh I would’ve been right there with you buying everything!

Thank you for the heads up! This is why we gardeners need each other… we all hold beautiful knowledge and as a collective it’s so powerful. 💕
Love! Be careful with that lemongrass! It took over my container - used as a thriller and I kept cutting it and cutting it and finally tossed it. haha
Bwaha ha ha ha! Yup. I have used it as a thriller too, but I put it in part shade to stunt its growth.
@@HelloGarden smart girl. I learned the hard way in my full Georgia heat. Lol
So glad to find this video. I had to go in through subscriptions to find it. The one on the home screen was marked Private. ??

I've TOTALLY had that happen with some of mine. Or I'll grow them from seed and the flavor is "meh". Such a downer. Cross your fingers for me!
❤
💕💕💕
I also love my Cherokee purple, and the pink boar is very good .
Moment of truth time... which do you prefer?!? I'm almost afraid to know.
