- Welcome back for Part 2 of the Summer Dining Patio Makeover! I’m planting out the second trio of containers along with the front porch pot. Fresh whites, buttery yellow and hints of blue. I can’t wait to see these fill in!

Oh my gosh… thank you so much! I love sharing what I’ve learned over my lifetime of gardening.
Your place looks so beautiful, and your containers are gorgeous! I see why you chose yellow plants-it’s because they make the blue pots pop! The sweet potato vine and the dark coleus make the white pot pop! The yellow /chartreuse ties the whole thing together.
I have been working on my yard since the beginning of March and I still don’t have everything planted. I am burnt out and exhausted, my yard looks bad and my head hurts. However, I planted a yellow rose in a large blue pot, and the blooms make the pot a beautiful focal point.
Oh I feeeeeel that. If you want some encouragement, go back and watch my cut flower video where I show what I’m starting with. It’s taken me weeks and weeks to just get three rows under control and this past weekend I felt the same way. But then I remember how good it’s going to feel to be surrounded by flowers this summer and I keep going. You’ve got this. Just keep drinking in the satisfaction of all the work you’ve already done! And if you need to take a day off, I give you permission. We all need to recharge from time to time. 💕

Yay!!!!! My tubers are waking up too. The cut flower garden is slow and steady. I have three rows fully weeded and mostly planted. I have 4 pathways mowed and somewhat under control. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s taken many many weekends. I’m going to include it in the May garden tour!
Thanks for another video that came at the perfect time. Found a new amazing garden center yesterday and picked out lots of plants that are so different that what I usually pick out. So today I am venturing out of my comfort zone and planting the containers at my business.
