- Welcome Back! It's phase one of our front yard renovation. I've taken the design from the Northwest Flower and Garden Show and am dropping it down into my front yard.
This first video is all about the prep work and hardscaping. The first order of the day is leveling out a VERY bumpy front yard and showing you that you don't need a giant garden to create a space for your family to enjoy.
Hardscape Materials Used:
24"x24" - Mutual Material Vancouver Bay Pavers in Charcoal (a portion of these were gifted as part of my display at the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival)
14"x4' - Mongolian Black Basalt treads (not gifted)
Assorted Tumbled Bluestone pavers for the landing (not gifted)
Mutual Material Cornerstone Retaining wall block in Natural (not gifted)

This is why I like you…keeping it real, not everyone has time and money to get it all done at once.
Absolutely! And I hope people go back to remember my garden didn’t happen overnight. It’s been years in the making!
Im here because i saw your garden on Dig Plant water repeat. So transformational! So beautiful
Awwww... thank you so much! It has been so fun to share it with our plant community. So glad you are here!

I discovered your channel from Janey’s channel appearance. Lived the trellis you build to grow veggies on. Love you style of planting pots
Thank you so much! And that trellis has been such a workhorse in our garden.
I’m also here because I saw you on Dig Plant Repeat. You seemed so knowledgeable with putting together amazing baskets. I’m excited to see your work.
Welcome and thank you so much! I’m pretty obsessed with containers so I’m happy to show them all off. 💕
Love it so far! Can’t wait to see the finished product and hear all about it!
Thank you so much! It's a slow and steady process for us as we plant bit by bit. But I also think that's way more realistic.
Amazing! You are so very gifted! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! And it’s so fun to share little transformations as we make this garden more personal. It has changed our home so dramatically!

Thanks for the sub! So glad to have you here. ☺️
I looove your new patio/garden area. Do you mind letting me know what size the walkway pavers are and where you got them? Thank you so much!
Hellooooo! These are 24x24 Vancouver Bay pavers in charcoal from Mutual Materials. Abbotsford also makes them (they’re called Texada at Abbotsford). I installed them in a running bond pattern. Your local supplier should have something very similar!
@@HelloGarden Thank you! ❤️
Who is that kid hitting the fattest griddy at 2:07
That would be your brother. 🤣
LOL😅😅😅
Amazing difference!
What you are explaining is so interesting but I dislike the music as you are speaking.
Thank you! And I’ll relisten. It’s impossible to please 100% of people all the time but I’m always open to good feedback!
