You are by far the absolute best floral designer I have ever come across you and your sister and mom are amazing I love everything you do and the best part is it comes so naturally to you wow just wow!
That’s so kind, I appreciate that, I’m blessed to have been taught from a young age by my mom. and over the years my own style started developing. when i worked at the greenhouse, i made some baskets, mixed combos, some of my first(in my teens), and my mom said they were too weird😂🤣 So i put my name on all the tags of the baskets i created so I could show they would sell, also hoping they wouldn’t be the last ones left over😂🤣 But they were some of the first ones to be sold! Thats when my creativeness started taking over bc i had more confidence in what i was creating. That lesson stuck with me through the years, and I always think about it before I jump in and create.
I only wish I had half your skills and knowledge. But I am learning! I have planted flowers for several yrs now and never gave it as much thought as I do now. Every summer I think i know what I am doing and every summer I learn even more.
Believe me, you will never be done learning. That’s the best part about gardening. There’s no ceiling, it’s infinite. The plants have a lot to teach us. Happy Planting🌿🙏

Is this footage that had gone missing? Am I remembering correctly? Beautiful as per usual! Because of you I have pea gravel surrounding my raised garden beds. I just planted a honeysuckle today and am so excited. It flanks the wide side of a trough of water for me to dip in on hot days!🤗

Loved the vertically garden. I have to give my feedback on PW fertilizer. Proven winner water mix fertilizer is probably the worst I have used living in NJ. It literally attracted so much pest and ate all my plants.

I ADORE this!! Would love to have this “living wall.” I have a white house, do you think my siding might stain from the water drainage?
I’m happy you enjoyed it. I’m not sure about the staining, I can’t see any on mine but it’s real dark so it hides everything. They act like a window box. So if you notice any staining with a window box then that would most likely be similar with this design. I would think a scrub down on the wall at the end of the season after clean up it would be ok. And if you have a lot of iron in your water there could be an orange tinge.

Hi! I thought that the Proven Winners containers were plantable? It says to pull down the side tabs and the bottom comes off. Then plant it into your soil and the pot breaks down naturally? Have you tried this method? Beautiful job on your boxes.
They are, but I just don’t like doing that, they go to our compost pile, but they take a long time to break down.
@@TheLawrenceGardenFarm Yes, and probably easier to manipulate into confined flowerbox spaces. I'm doing an experiment and planted the pots in my flower bed. Had more room there to see how they do. Love your channel! Kathy
I finally found newer videos!!I love your videos!. I have a question for you. I’d like to plant in the ground instead of in pots. But I need more flowers. Is there a plant as good as PW.. I love PW.. I’d like to use sunpatients..or the begonia. Help me if you know a good good no name that grows like a PW🌸🌺🪴🪻😊
There are other brands and varieties that grow well other than PW, but PW plants are known for their vigorous, strong, and hardy growth. You have to search out smaller garden centers and growers bc not all great plants and varieties are by proven winners. I in a lot of my creations, if it’s not for an actual proven winner video, I’ll add one or two proven winner varieties, and then I mix in plants that I seed, started myself. You don’t have to use everything proven winner in a container. I always add at least one or two.

Do you know if it's ok to use an aquarium dechlorinator, (e.g., Safe), to reduce chlorine, which is somewhat harmful to plants, watering within a municipal tap water supply???
that I do not know. I’m sorry. We have well water so I never had to research a solution for that problem. 🌿🌿
I might grow like this if i own a nursery of my own
I don’t own a nursery, but I did grow up on a farm and in my parents greenhouse business. All skills come with practice and time. Think of our container gardening videos as cheat sheets. I’ve had beginner gardeners duplicate and follow everything I’ve taught in videos and couldn’t believe the results. I’ve had people tell me that neighbors showed up at their door just to ask their secrets, in their first year! Just remember you can do anything and create anything. Your background doesn’t determine what you are capable of creating🌸🌸❤️

Do you have any problems with water on your wood sid ing.
The siding is LP smartside so there’s no damage, there’s a back to the box and just the boxes are made of wood.
How often do you have to replace the wooden planters?
haven’t had to replace yet and this will be the 4th year.
What soil mix do you use?
I use jolly gardener

I always thought coleus were shade plants. Palladium too. Have I been mislead?
Many varieties of Coleus are for full shade, but there are many varieties that can take Full Sun!👍☀️ 🌸 Which is awesome bc they add the perfect punch of color and are low maintenance.
How often do you fertilize?
depends on the time of the season and the root growth. I mention that in the vid i though, sorry if that info isn’t there. I made this a long time ago. But averaging every third or fifth time, so around 1-2 times per week, depending on growth
