I've been going through several buckets of water cleaning my 250M. Hadn't thought to remove the feed hoses and clean them first! First two buckets are instantly polluted with the bozo method.... Thanks!
Definitely lot better way of cleaning than the official wagner way. I spent 30 minutes following the wagner way. The way shown in this video makes so much sense and much cleaner way to clean the machine. Definitely following this way next time.
This is very helpful. (had been cycling water for about an hour - felt there should be an easier way - and you just showed it. Going to try this as we speak) Cheers from Amsterdam
Thanku buddy, best video yet, I have just purchased this Wagner sprayer and I will follow your breakdown and cleaning steps, thankyou Louie from Northern Ireland
Great video Bill thinking of getting this model Wagner 350, the only thing is thats stoping me as in the UK they do not have a Service Centre so this is the only problem? So I have been looking at the American alternatives but I will see. Whats your view on Wagner as you have one as I would be interested.
Thank you for nice snd clear explanation !! 👏👏. Questiion: if I have to spray in the morning and in the evening few days ,, like painting furniture in workshop. it still should be cleaned each time or I could put the gun in buket of water ? Thank you very much !
I had a Graco magnum a45 pro plus just bought this as the peice of crap Graco broke after 3 jobs. With the Graco you have to put pump gaurd in....do you not need pump guard with this machine? Great video by the way....cheers
Hey Bill love the videos very informative. How do you clean the unit out after using enamel paint? the manual just says use the appropriate cleaning solution
Hi. Is the any need to lubricate the wagner. Other machines recommend this , I asked wagner ,n they were pretty vague. They said if I intend putting it away for a long period put some oil in the suction entry . Any ideas. Great video helped me no end. Regards Vic
Awesome vid. I was trying to see whether or not there is a washer between the extension and the tip guard? I’m unsure if I’ve lost something out of it or what but the extension seems to screw pretty far into the guard..? Mines exactly the same as yours. The nut just past the thread seems to go into the guard a bit far?
Great video, very specific and not the standard "just drive water thru"👍🏻 But I wonder, in a big project anything can happen that makes you wait, maybe 30 minutes to an hour. Do you experience that the 250 can wait som time without be cleaned, or right away you are not spraying, has to be cleaned. Many thanks.
Thanx for you tutorial. What do you do with the water whats left in the hose? I use to blow it out with lungpower 💪🏻, can i also blow it out with the machine or is it okay to leave the water inside the hose?
Another great vid bill If I left it overnight before cleaning bill would it be ok to use again the next day ,or would you clean it out every time you use it bill ?
Hi great video i am thinking of getting one of these, I've been looking graco and this one, would you class this as heavy-duty, it could run 6 days a week? can you run cellulose paint with it.
Hello Bill I am thinking of buying this as I do lots of painting jobs When you paint wall and ceilings do you thin the paint down ? Thanks and well done for the gr8 video
The only thing that I do differently than you, is after disconnecting the hose and gun filter, i roll up the cable and attach both ends together as they are male and female. My thinking, that then no air can get inside the hose and it also stops any residue dripping out.😊
Awesome mate. All useful info and no BS. Thanks for making this video👍 (The tip on cleaning the intake and prime hoses.. I feel like an idiot for not working that one out myself before I started! No wonder it took forever to come out clean!.)😁
Wagner has awesome products, their flexio range is also good. Each product has its place , hopefully not too long and I’ll have the smaller control pro 150 To test out 👍
Thanks for tips and how to brother. Because of your how to videos I got a lot of knowledge. Quick question. Have you done rendering and if you have then is it possible to do a video.
Thanks Bill. I never thought to remove & wash the suction & skinny tubes first before putting them in the clean water. Good tip that I will be doing in the future. I have the 250M & love it. Where do you get your spray tips from?
Thank you bill, you’ve taught us all how to use this machine..: ain’t nobody got time for that manual lol Just a question if you use the machine first by spraying primer should it be cleaned before spraying paint?
@@beaniebrotha Wagner sells two products suitable for this: 'All Guard' which comes in a 1L bottle, and 'Easy Clean' which is 125mL. (The small bottle is good for about 2 uses). Directions for use: Once you've cleaned up your sprayer, and the water is looking clear, you want to add a bit of the All Guard / Easy Clean to ~1L of clean water. Add enough for the water to change to a nice green colour. To cycle this through your sprayer, place the suction hose into the water/solution mix, and (with the pump set to the 'prime' position), turn up the pressure so it begins to circulate through the pump. Once that is done, we'd recommend switching it over to 'spray', and just spraying a small amount out through the gun (so it's internals are coated too). Finally, release the pressure from the system (by turning the pressure down, switching to prime, and pulling the trigger again), and your sprayer can now be stored away with the solution inside the system. Let us know if any of the above isn't clear.
@@WagnerAustralia do you store the hose with water in it or drain it completely and blow the hose through with your mouth or something?) thank you, Antob
Thankful for your video The written directions are absolutely horrible. Nothing is in order. Words are left out of sentences and now I have to unlearn what I read in directions and reprogram my brain to Your “most helpful video”. Thank you for taking the time to put this video together for people like me who learned the wrong way from the directions that came with Wagner sprayer so I can be a pro, too!
This is 10x better than the official Wagner video on cleaning. Thank you for sharing this, very useful! Cheers.
Your a natural teacher, great to see in a realistic setting with no BS. thanks Bill 👍
👍
Awesome video, not even the manufacturer explains it this well. Thanks so much for your help!
Watched quite a few videos on this sprayer, but you are the first to show me all the parts and how to clean it properly, thank you for that.
You’re welcome 👍
This video is fast superior to anything Wagner put out, thanks 👍🏻
Thanks for the video man I bought my 350M yesterday desperate to use it and now I know the best method for cleaning it!
hi Bill just purchased sprayer, you saved me a heap of reading
thanks kind regards

Thanks Bill, I wish everyone was as efficient as you. 👍👍👍
Great, thanks Bill. You are much more better than official Wagner Instructons. Greetings from Munich/Bavaria.
This was a really good video. No fluff, no time wasting to, just on point.
This is such a helpfully video, ive watched it a few times. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

Wish id have seen this before my first clean. Great video Bill!
Mate you are a legend loved watching your videos on this machine as you have made it so much easier to start with. Good on ya bro!!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Great video mate thank you, saved me hours
Any difference with oil based paint? Do you substitute water for mineral spirits and not wash parts in the sink?
Yes spirits
Another great video Bill, and a very efficient cleaning routine!
👍
hey Wagner what cleaning solution do you use to clean the unit after using enamel paint?
Thanku buddy, best video yet, I have just purchased this Wagner sprayer and I will follow your breakdown and cleaning steps, thankyou Louie from Northern Ireland
This is not how its done... takes to long... probably is first machine
Thanks for the tips Bill. I’m looking at this in the skid model for just under $1000 from total tools. Thanks again for the videos
I'm about to buy the skid one
What did you think of it
@@TCGGRIZL hey mate, it works fine, the taller one is probably easier to feed the hose into the paint tin, but I just use a milk crate to lift it up

Very good tips! Thanks! :)
I wondered how to get that filter! Now I know. Great info

How often do you change your filters and tips being a professional tradesperson?

Definitely uses more paint but so much easier and faster 👍

How to clean oil paint, any tipes?
Nice video Bill just one question do you dilute the paint before spray.
With this sprayer there is no need to dilute 👍

Bonjour, dans quel magasin je peux trouver le compresseur, merci beaucoup,
THANKS ALOT
Awesome vid Bill cheers! Do you run any pump armour or household oil through it in prime mode before storing?
It’s recommended, I haven’t done so yet though to be honest.
This is definitely recommended if you're puting it into storage for any decent amount of time! If painting regularly then it is less of an issue.
