Great tutorial man! Always love seeing stuff like this! Would you ever think of adding slap and pop articulations to your bass plugins? I only play Spector basses and I use EUROBASS all the time and I think adding these articulations would just absolutely take them next level!!! I really hope you can add these articulations sometime in the future!
@@SystematicProductions thank you for responding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll keep an eye out :) Keep up the great work! and making amazing sounding products!!! We musicians greatly appreciate it!!!!!!!!
This....is amazing.... very inspiring because I just started doing metal mixes. The djinbass is awesome, I have a real bass but it's not really suited for low tunings like that unless I get a 5 string, so this would be perfect for me!
@@fredriksvard2603 100%. Before I got the Zilla Cabs I was constantly battling with the 1k-4k regions within the Nolly IR's. As you say you end up neutering the attack region. With the Zillas Im doing q few notches of a few really pokey resonances and I'm done.
Just bought Djinnbass! 🤘 What do you do when the notes that you're trying to program are in the same octave range as the articulations? How do you get the notes to just play and ignore the articulations, or vice versa when needed? Or is there a different way to do it? Having problems with notes and articulations clashing in the same octave.
Great vid! One question, why in the first half do you do your refining/mixing stuff to the guitars sitting with one track in mono, when in the end they will be double tracked and sitting panned L/R? Why not do it while listening to the wide double tracked guitsr how it will actually sound?
Quite often music is played in mono (like phone speakers, in clubs...) so it's important to check that things work in mono too. You can get all kinds of weird phase problems if you only mix in stereo
In Eurobass II when you crank the width knob it doesn't sound as pronounced as it does here. Does Djinn have more chorus or is it possible that I have my bass midi track set up wrong in Reaper? I honestly don't hear anything with the width in EB II.
To be honest; for me the difference between Eurobass 2 and Djinn is non existent but to be said: the sound of Eurobass 2 is excellent, really good for quick songwriting productions with low tunings when you don't have the right tuning on your real bass!
Thanks for using 'Red Mist' my dude! Sounds huge
Amazing composition guys 👊🏼
That outro was fuckin god tier my dude
@@adamstrachn thank you very much!
@@BhargavaMan haha thank you sir!! the idea was essentially... okay, how fuggin heavie can this shid be?
hello amazing song, do you play with 7 o 8 strings?
Thank you Ermin for at least trying to make us more smartererer
This is excellent content. Great to see how you dial tones from scratch, would be cool to see an Archetype:Nolly version
Ermz has already got you covered: ruclips.net/video/kpjgMJS0t98/видео.html
This is exactly what I needed for the exact combo I'm using! Thank you!!

the tone is nasty😍, and i want to get my hands over djinnbass or eurobass soon
Love those harmonics at the end, super gnarly
Great tutorial, mainly because you're actually explaining your choices as you go - helps noobs like me understand WHY, rather than just copying.
Thanks Ermin! Excellent run-through & tones as usual buddy 🤘🏻
Ok that intro was the hardest friggen intro i've ever heard. I was sad it didnt keep going lol
Sounds nothing but incredible. Love the help with neural stuff.

Love the way how you sampled the dingwall bass, I really hope a Bongo 5 samples in the future
The guitar DIs sound incredible! What pickups were used on it?
got this plugin and love it, it pairs amazing with GGDs zilla cabs, i recommend you try that combo out! sounds killer!
The GGD Zilla cab sims are on another level, they sound so much more 3D and fuller to my ears then the stock Cab IRs.

Great Stuff. Subscribed!
Regarding the intro; really curious how those riffs are chopped up + tapestop in post production
does djinn bass not have to be EQ'd. is it completely out of the box ready?
this was... gnarly
AWESOME 😈
Great video! Are you Aussie? How did you program the bass? That is how did you get midi to feed Djinbass?
Can you make chords from scratch with this plugin ? Or do you need a sample already made ?
самые лучшие туториалы))
How about that lead though?

Can you please give us a tutorial about Jakub Zytecki's clean guitar tone?
Great video, Ermin!
What did you use for screen recording? OBS?

Yes, we made the effect more pronounced for DjinnBass.
I would buy this cubase project.
Is there any way to use the pitch pedal in post production? For exampel if I dont have a physical pedal for the part in 'Stranded'.
yep use automation

loved it. new subby here \m/

Is there a way to palm mute? Or is that the same as harmonic muting?
Isn’t the “rule” to never palm mute on bass?
