great video. i only used amps for 20 years untill i bought archtype gojira when it first came out, now i only use plugins exclusively. the ease of use and basically being able to get a perfect tone for what i do instantly changed everything for me.
Torn between Nolly for that gain-ier sound pero ang swabe ng strat tones talaga nung Cory Wong! Coming from Neural Amp Modeler, sobrang nakakaconvince yung presets and ease of use just need to make up my mind between the two. Thanks for the vid PAX! #1 GAS instigator ka talaga AHAHAH

As much as I want to dive into this, for now I prefer the sound that I can do without a pc especially live. No, i am not a pro yet. I mean, I may sound better using this, but I want to play on a stage eventually and it will be very hassle to rely on pc/laptop, so hardware muna talaga, whether analog or digital. Kung ano man kasi magawa ko sa records gusto ko sa live din and vise versa.

You can never go wrong with archetype plini x napaka smooth nang lead sounds. I use gojira x for my heavy rhythm and plini x for any soaring lead tones ❤ congrats sir pax quad cortex na next niyan hahahaha

Started out sa Amplitube 3-5 plugins (ganda pa rin and works perfect with certain guitars). Iba pa rin talaga Archetype Cory Wong for me, go to guitar plugin ko na with IRs haha

naalala ko before, I'm using stevie t plugins, tapos niloload ko lmh ung mga custom IR, tpos ung tone ko prang pang pro natry ko dn ung Archetype nolly, kso medyo may latency sya skin dhil mababa pa specs ng laptop ko, best for recording tlaga, tpos pwede mo pa baguhin ung mismong tone khit recorded na, incase na maiba ung tunog ng gitara pag nka double panning na

Sir PAX pwede po pa magrequest ng modern metal bukod sa periphery. Kahit anong sub genre okay po sana pero kung makarinig ng djent mas masaya, sarap ng tone mo palagi pag mabigat sir. POLARIS/Monuments/ERRA/Invent Animate o kahit wala diyan, 7 string kadalasan pero parang maganda rin sa'yo mag review ng 7 string tbh hehe.

Anyways, how to achieve great tone din po sa Facebook live? Nagtutugtog po kasi kami sa Church and then may live streaming every Sunday and ito po probs namin, hindi namin maachieve yung good quality tone ng instruments. Started playing guitar nun 2019, i have no band gusto ko lng mag cover at mag record, sandamak mak n pedal un nabili ko pero di ko parin ma achieve un tone n gusto lalo n sa dirt, un tipong siakol piercing sound un dirt sound ko 😅, then by 2021 na discover ko un DAW na Reaper then nag improve un sound quality ko pero medyo bitin pa rin, dun ko n nadiscover un Bias FX2 at Neural dsp, after that di na ko bumalik sa pedal at amp set up.
Idol pax gawa ka naman video about sa 24bit and 32bit float na fx. 😀
Question lang po sit Pax, for recording lang po ba sya or pede sya gamitin sa actual na combo amp or cabinet para sa live playing

Hi sir pax, not sure if mentioned sa vid or i missed it out, may effect pa rin po ba yung guitar tone when using plugins? Can I still achieve the tone i like using a entry guitar vs using a high end guitar?
Oh yes. That’s the reason you can still hear the difference of a Fender and a local brand in my Benchmark tests.
