here is something to try. Buy some quail eggs smaller the better. Hold them carefully inside your closed fist. Now softly strike that post on your lower three knuckles. Don't break the eggs.
Then punch a focus pad hard at speed but off target, try to pass the target.
Next have a partner hold up a hand and repeat .
Finally have a partner hold up a hand firmly relax protect the eggs in your hand allow your punch to miss and glide past and strike the bag hard.
Now you have to do this with out breaking the egg even when hitting that bag , with out a partner.
Congratulations you have learned how hard and fast and slippery the correct way to use the rabbit punch works. Its for the nose and the eyes and upper cheek. Delivery in twos or threes and never whilst just standing face on to the opponent.
Its not really a knock down punch . Its a chipping away punch to used wuen you have a better position.
Wing chun often fails because they think they can just go in a straight line and they get a right cross for their trouble

I won't try to change your mind but I will remind you that my opinion was once as yours is now, and then I learned a lot more. Perhaps you also will, in time.

why would you think chimps have disease ridden fingernails? I mean.. they eat with those fingers, they groom each other with those fingers, and it's not like they use disease as a weapon against anything. this is just nonsensical. you say animals don't use a fist to fight, and then talk about how a chimp might use hammer fist. so.. a fist. what you meant was animals don't really "punch" with their knuckles.. except some animals kick. and you could say "I meant things with fingers" but you also talked about mantis shrimp.
maybe compare your "style" to how a boxer delivers energy. if you're talking dynamics, drunken style uses a wrist strike that has excellent form from the wrist through the shoulder.
maybe invite a boxer or coach from a local gym / boxing gym to discuss form, technique, theory. extra points if you invite them at the same time as a karate or other martial art instructor so they can compare techniques as you ask questions. I bet a lot could be learned. ;-)

Alternatively you could keep your "points" for yourself, for being so pedantic and patronising 🙂

      @@pantherpaws1077 right back atcha! :-D
self awareness not a habit of yours, eh?
If you don't want this guy to talk to people who know what they're talking about and learn something, improve his content etcetera... that's an odd position. I happen to disagree and think the guy could learn some things, improve his content, and get more subscribers. no idea why you wouldn't want that for him.
but hey, an idiot once said, "keep your "points" to yourself. :-D
