  • In this video i show how to convert from a Hard fuel line to a flexible steel braided line, this is for fuel line and i show how to do the 5/16 to teflon hose. This works for Transmission lines and power steering lines as well. How to make AN hoses. I also use copper nickle hard lines to make a rust free fuel system.

    Great Job, I have spent Hours and Hours trying to recourse the parts and how to do this on 5/16 return For a Ram 3500 6.7L. After speaking with multiple reps from Earls and Jegs and Russell, then just going through multiple sights to figure it out on my own I was told that moving a 5/16 hard line to 5/16 fuel hose ( push lock) or nylon braided then to the Fleece lift pump 5/16 quick connect inlet tube "could not be done" I knew it was BS anything can be done. This helps tremendously Thanks myman!

    So glad I found this. I was changing the fuel filter on my 89 c1500 and the engine side of the filter fitting was rusted. I literally just grabbed the filter from the railing out of the holder and it bent and leaked fuel. It's a steel braided line of course. That whole hose set is over 100 bucks. I'd rather out a new fitting on it and be on my way. I see you drive a gm vehicle as well. Curious of the 3/8 size is the same for most. Truck has the 5.7 v8

    What kind of fittings are you using for the fuel regulator to the hat ?

    I understand converting polymer lines to braided Teflon (increase in durability, ease of work, etc.)
    But for the sections that usually have hardline, non bending sections that basically follow the frame or the like, why?

    • @klowny1969
      @klowny1969  Год назад +1

      You should always put as much hardline as you can. You usually should have hose close to the gas tank and feeding the engine.
