If you mean wages or earning power - this is actually very western, capitalist characteristic - one is valued by how much money is in their pocket. Everybody wants to be your friend when you have money. One gets sick, or plain loses money - and number of “friends” drastically decreases.
I’m afraid you don’t quite understand what is communism. Especially talking about countries labeled “communist” by western media, but countries clearly did not succeed to build a communist society or communist economic model, because its utopian. Beautiful, in theory, but impossible in real society. Society has to be highly ethical in order to create such a model. And human individualistic propensities will never make communism possible, ever.

How did communism work out for berlin,Russia, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, and China? Look at North Korea, then look at South Korea, and tell me if communism is better than capitalism. It takes what you worked hard for and gives it to someone else that did not work hard for it. Socialism does not want you to own anything. All I know is when I left the U.S. during the last year of the Trump Administration, I was paying between $1.99 to $2.25 a gallon for gas, interest rates were between 0% and 2%, inflation was nearly non-existent, the economy was booming, there was no border problem, we were a gas and oil exporter, the first time in my lifetime, unemployment was crazy low, there were no major wars around the world, and we were not in any wars. I come back in 2024, inflation is sky high, interest rates are high, we are no longer an energy exporter, gas prices are $3.35 to $4.50 a gallon, food prices are rocketing, restaurants are closing, Russia invaded Ukraine and we are involved in a major war in Europe, another War in the Middle East and conflicts in Africa, Japan is having the largest defense buildup since World War II, and so are other Asian and European countries. What happened? I guess elections have consequences. I knew Russia would invade Ukraine if Trump did not win the election, and they did. I disagree with Trump's views on Ukraine. If we do not solidly support Ukraine and defeat Russia in Ukraine, that loss could lead to another World War, and European leaders realize this. It happened twice before, and tens of millions died and entire cities blown to pieces. Russia's President Putin is following Hitler's 1930s and 40s roadmap to war. If the U.S. exhibits the same dumb behavior and weakness we did in the 1930s, then the same thing will happen. YOU CANNOT NEGOTIATE PEACE WITH TYRANTS, and until Trump understands that Putin is a tyrant no different than Hitler, the U.S. could be engineering another World War.

That young person was really for the most part very respectful, and I felt he was open to discussion. He wasn't a bad young person, he was respectful and was listening, and even agreeing with Charlie on many points. At least I didn't feel that he was obnoxious in his views, I would take this young person coming out of the corrupt education system any day, over the so many conceited, arrogant, closed minded people that come that system today.

I live in PA and one of our US Senators is the useless Bob Casey (D). Now that he is in full campaign mode, he did an ad in which he stated that the US is NOT experiencing INFLATION, but SHRINKFLATION (we've all heard the term). He says we are paying the same money as we always have for goods, but that greedy corporations are simply 'shrinking' the size of the products themselves, making it APPEAR that we are paying more. So my questions to Bob Casey are these: "4 years ago, gasoline prices were about $2.00 per gallon. Now its $4.00 and above. If this is shrinkflation, how much smaller did a gallon of gas become over the past 4 years?" "How about milk? How many fewer ounces are there in a gallon of milk compared to the number of ounces in 2021?" "How might LIGHTER did a pound of ground beef, chicken, pork or cheese become? A pound was always 16 ounces, but what is it under your theory of shrinkflation? Twelve ounces? Ten?" "How many eggs are there in a dozen now? Nine, six?" These items are the STAPLES that every American family depends upon to survive, and the whole shrinkflation argument is crap on a cracker.

I think they genuinely think they're smarter than they are, and with that confidence comes arrogance. And as demonstrated in other exchanges, there's a sense of superiority that comes with being in college; several students Charlie speaks to believe they know more than he because they're in college, and he never was.
The kid in this clip started arrogant and full of piss and vinegar, but was actually smart enough to settle down and listen, and it was a healthy exchange.

Charlie Kirk and that student should stay in touch. They had a rational discussion on economic issues and debated in a constructive manner.
Equity frim not just buying up existing home but als building suburbs and apartment the are standing empty. Becauce the rents are so high that people can't afford to rent them. In one city they built homes and apartments and the builders had to drop the rents so people could move in.
