Sadly, we were on the way to color blindness in the US. But then the race baiters and hucksters came in and profited from exaggerating racism when it was on the decline. Sadly, the riots, BLM bullshit, and the like are MORE likely to create more racism against black people. Which we should NOT be doing. We need to come together as US citizens and deny these hucksters, we are all Americans in my mind. We need to stop allowing people with agendas to divide us. They are the enemy, not someone of another color of skin who never did anything to you.
Thomas Sowell is wrong! Consider the newly freed Black slaves after the American Civil War ended.Their penniless condition made them CRIMINALS FOR THE CRIME OF VAGRANCY!
I came from a white family, I don't remember one conversation at dinner about racism. Not once did one of my parents say "hate Blacks" or any race for that matter. The subject never really came up. We were taught to respect people and adults in particularly. Race or color or religion was ever mentioned as a prerequisite.
Came up a few times when I was a kid, though not often. My father was a career soldier, British Army for 36 years, so we spent most of my childhood abroad, In my first 18 years I spent a total of around 18 months in the UK.... He always used to say that often the brightest gem is just glass, its the dull stone that may be the diamond. In other words, judge people for who they are, not what they look like. And just as importantly, take the time to get to know them before making that judgement. If I dislike someone it is not because of their colour, creed or sex, it is because they have been rude, disrespectful, are incompetent or have some other glaring flaw that rubs me the wrong way (blatant bigotry of any form being high on that list of flaws!). But I always try to live by that, get to know people before judging them. Do I always succeed? Of course not, I am only human, thus most definitely fallible, but the important thing often is not the succeeding, but the trying.... You may never become a better person by trying, but you sure as hell are not going to become better if you DON'T try.... The trying matters, and the success often follows in its coat tails....
Me too! This should be the next MeToo movement. It’s not race it’s actions. And they speak louder than words that your “culture” is thievery and violence. Be better parents, siblings and friends! Teach love and acceptance not hate and division.
Same for me my parents never had conversation with or my bother about hating or treating people differently because they were different than we were. But i think a major point here is grew up with a mother and father in a stable environment. The issue with black culture today is the fact there is no stable father around, whatever the reason why.
I'm 63yo white male the only racism I ever witnessed or experienced was directed at me by black students I was in school with, not because I did anything or said anything to bring abuse/bullying on to me, it was only because I was white and alone or with a smaller group of white class mates, than the black students who were abusing me/us. This all started around middle school right through high school. Later after joining the military I noticed differences where skin color wasn't an issue, the military taught me a lot about life in general, mostly I think because living in close quarters (barracks), and working long hours together to achieve a common goal/mission. Not saying there wasn't abuses or bullying in military but what I witnessed wasn't skin color oriented, more towards failure to carry your weight thus causing other to pick up more than share or work or responsibility. I have to say serving in the US Military definitely taught to me to be a better person overall.

Yes, and along with the 1965 Immigration Act - INASION, has led to the disenfranchisement of Whites in our nations we built. 95% of America was White in 1965. 40% of Whites live below poverty today - more than any other race. Our wealth and all we built has been raped, our culture, history, government, schools, commerce and laws taken over and destroyed. That little clan who controls is responsible for orchestrating it all, including both sides of every war since the French Revolution - WWII excluded. The Germans were heroes stopping the communist takeover. We’d be done already. Took half he world to stop them. And, the lies can’t be told. Even General Patton, soon after WW11 was speaking out, quoted in papers, saying, America fought the wrong enemy. He was pointing to those not our own who control us and was murdered quickly after Churchill too, was more subtly speaking up. Whites are Blood Israel, Michael. GOG WAR is the invasion of our lands. Victim mentality is the WEAKEST mentality…but the weak lie to themselves and each other, gaslighting themselves to stay in the same narrative/false paradigm. As the saying goes, “You attract what you believe”. So it ends up being a fulfilling prophecy. In order to change our external reality, we must first be willing to change our internal thoughts(where beliefs come from). Weak people cannot change their minds, because their emotions keep them stuck in the same thinking patterns. Once we can set aside our emotions (what healthy, mature people do normally), we can then begin to see situations/circumstances in different perspectives so that we can learn and grow. Most people nowdays don’t want to learn or grow. They are hard-headed, stubborn, and extremely uneducated by their own choice.
For years, I had a black supervisor, who I respected and would do as they needed me to, whether work extra hours or extra days in a row or some-one else's tasks that they had lazily left for the next person to fix. I finally had to leave that company after 10 years of being treated like this, but usually I thought they treated us all fairly equally, as sometimes I saw Her working just as hard right beside me. Yes, I was an old white Conservative worker man and she was a tall,. proud Black Lady that bossed me around and thanked me for always filling in when asked, and joked with me, and even let me bring in Doughnuts to her office once in a while and donate to the different Christmas causes that someone came up with. Sorry, but I can't be too racist when I have a picture of my respected Neighbor up on my wall to my left right now and he was a great man, a short Black man, a top First Seargent in the Air Force, and I still keep fixing things for his little widow that lives right across the alley, and I will be visiting with my Mixed race Daughter who will visit next week-end with her Mother and us, as they are joining a family reunion here in Dallas in a few days. I don't know how she got away from the college she is going to, but Her full scholarship and Dean's list for the FIRST year shows me that kid is SMART. The "Mexican" lady on the right is talking about racial stereotyping . Stereotyping doesn't just spring up out of nowhere . It exists because of the "behaviors " of certain races /cultures.
Mexicans see themselves as a superior race over all the other races. You can't have a conversation without them telling you that their country and people have the best of everything! They tend to look down on the other races even if their skin is brown just because you are not Mexican so it's not the color of the skin. Is just pure ignorance!
Bingo! Like aboriginals in Canada are famous for B&E's, drugs, theft/robbery, and stabbing random people. If it wasn't true the stereotype wouldn't not exist.
What is wrong with so called stereotypes that are for the most times real in some cultures and how they wore clothes and danced strangely etc... Why does everything needs to fall in the "censor" excuse ? One of the example is a white actor Mickey Rooney portraying an Asian dude in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" movie imho it was humor not to be taken as negative or wrong . There are many examples in movies, cartoons, etc...which are sadly censored but delivered a much more common sense than what they show us today these last +15 years with their politically correctness crap .
And sharp as a tack. He gives examples and then asked for responses and they stick with one word....racism.....and they are set up to fail. Btw, I have a diverse family that doesn't give credence to that idea. The British speaking black gentlemen was an example of someone young folks in the hood would mock......

@willharriman1881 exactly, that's what Ben is explaining. Some people want to pull the race cars on everything and not look at facts and actual evidence. Some people start protesting and rioting just because the police officer is white and the so called victim is black. They don't even know the details and evidence they look at race only.
He was talking about _net worth,_ which means the value of all your assets (house, bank balance, possessions, etc.), minus all your liabilities (credit card debt, mortgage debt, etc). You're thinking of _yearly income,_ which is not the same thing. I don't know whether his figures are correct, and I don't care -- your income or your net worth are not _caused_ by your skin color -- they're mainly caused by the decisions that people _choose_ to make, and that's on them. If you want to be wealthy, learn what kind of decisions lead to wealth, and then make a plan and stick to it. Anybody can do it. The most important factor in acquiring wealth is to start young, and do not buy anything you don't actually need, like 12 pairs of shoes, a $1,000 phone, a $2,000 television, or a car that you can't pay for in cash. The other main factor is learning how to use the money that you've been saving up to MAKE money, instead of relying on paychecks to build wealth. Literally anybody can become a millionaire, just by having the self-control and determination to study on their own until they understand what they must do, and then actually do it. There's nothing more than basic math, required (applying the principle of compound interest to work FOR you, instead of against you). I'm not going to write an entire damn article about it, people can either figure it out on their own, or not.
It was actually 4 black males and 4 black females that killed her, and she was killed by a g u n sh ot to the head. At least according to all the news sites that I found. It sounds like the females were the ones egging on the males. They tor tu ed the poor girl for hours. It was a horrifying story. None of the sites said anything about ly nc hing, though. I heard your version first, but the other news sites showed their pictures and gave their names. I guess those horrible people videoed the whole thing, and the police have it now. They confronted the suspects with it, and a couple of them confessed to what they did. It just tears me up inside to think of what that poor girl suffered. And she thought they were her friends. Her name was Mahagony Jackson.
It’s just a cult. Everything is racist. All evidence it’s filtered with skin color. There is a black guy in a store shopping, there is a white employee. There is an argument. Well obviously white employees is racist. That’s about as complex as it gets. Any evidence of what actually happened just gets in the outcome they want.
If black lives really matter to each individual black person, they would do more "positive" things to prove that fact. Banding together to steal from stores depicts laziness, self-centeredness, shamelessness and above all a sense of entitlement. I was raised to believe if you don't work, you don't eat, which simply mean each individual is responsible to do as much as he can for himself first and not wait or expect someone else to do it for him, without excuses! I AM BLACK and have had great success in life without a college degree. I can honestly say, every area of my life which I have been willing to work hard has produced much more in return. The real problem is most blacks out on the streets protesting or stealing are looking for excuses get what they want FREE or with a very minimal amount of effort which reflects negatively upon their parents, those who make up their 'village" or the lack of.
Exactly! Lazy and just taking advantage of a situation to get what they want. The same is true of these BLM organizations and anyone else trying to tell people how they should think or feel. Taking advantage of people to line their own pockets. “Racism” is a lucrative scam.
We have a similar problem in our little country, the indigenous people are about 20% of the population but represent 40-50% of prison inmates, so what is going on? I think it has something to do with perception of how people think of themselves and needing acceptance by their neighbors.
I was a victim of black racism as I lived in a black neighborhood and had to ride a predominantly black bus, hell on wheels, got to the point that I had to start walking 3 miles or catch a bus to the bus depot and then skirt the outer edge of the hood to get to my house . Luckily after 4 years we moved and I survived, yes it was in question in my mind if I would, and this was in the 70’s , so cry me a river.
That's kind of ironic, don't you think? You just marginalized an entire portion of society from a video where people are accusing others of marginalizing a segment of society.
Culture. My wife and I went to breakfast and a black family sitting next to us with the Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Sister talking about how their Son got arrested for robbing a neighbor's house. The #1 thing they kept complaining about was how he would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for some cameras outside of the house that recorded him. Seriously!!! WTH! My family and the majority of families I know would have been embarrassed and ashamed if their son had done anything like that. The culture should be family and raising your children to care and holding them accountable so they don't grow up to be criminals, not getting upset that they got caught committing a crime! I mean even the grandma was upset about the cameras that helped to get him caught. It was sad. Keep in mind I live in a neighborhood that is very diverse with people of every skin color and background (I'm actually white and the minority on my block), but the majority have the right culture and don't define themselves by skin color or see themselves as victims as they have jobs like myself and we all hold our children accountable for their actions.
My partner is "black" .His family go into meltdown if a family member /friend starts some sort of relationship with someone who is blacker than them & God forbid , a blacker child gets born .

I've been there having dinner with these people and always the conversation turns to these topics. I am not leaving out Hispanic homes on purpose I just simply didn't speak Spanish and all my friends' families would speak in a language I could not understand.

Same here.

Getting so old!
Comparing it to the Superbowl? Is like comparing life to death.
Plus, does she even know why hispanics eat certain foods? She could be ashamed of her ethnicity.
There’s always a bit of truth in stereotypes.

Ben hit the nail on the head, it all comes to culture, and what the parent, or parents teach their children!
That man saying they didn't speak about race in his home.. I say LIAR, LIAR, LIAR
What an excuse racism is, it’s claimed for your failure in life
These people they picked to debate Ben was not on his level
Excellent video!!!! I had this conversation with a co-worker earlier today! If you care about your people, you will teach and inspire your people to be successful. You cannot complain your way into success!!!!! It is taking away your ability to actually grow!
why do the black people think that violent protests are exceptable? the person that they revere and plaster his likeness everywhere, tear down monuments that have stood for a hundred years and put his likeness up MLK. all his protests were NON-VIOLENT by the protesters.they need to take after their hero.
This is beautiful! They laugh because they have no argument.
They were raised to be victims for something they never experienced. Tbh most Americans feel the pressure behind the racism from black Americans. That’s a fact. I am American Indian. I never went through what my ancestors did, how can I claim victimhood?! I can be mad bc I am angry about ANY people that are mistreated. But to my black AMERICAN brothers and sisters I love you. To those others who don’t want to work together and keeps the racism growing can LEAVE! STOP TALKING ABOUT IT! It will go away. Stop teaching kids to see color. Let them play and learn to love eachother. ❤
That’s the black DA from Baltimore that was arrested for fraud.
Just the one intelligent person invited to debate then!!
Victim mentality 🤦🏽♂️. Many people need to know what the word ACCOUNTABILITY means.
American explain this to me 1 black guy gets killed and made public every 2-3 years and causes riots but on average 1200 kids get shot/killed in “SCHOOL” every year and nothing is done about it. Can someone please help me understand this logic. Uk person here
Not American but I've had this conversation with my American friends. Talking about the school shootings triggers talk about gun control and they vehemently love their guns. Any talk about restricting access to whatever gun they want is highly offensive to them. They really truly are afraid they will need to take action against their own government at some nebulous point in the future.
@@rosebrent9440oh yes and they still get thrown in jail if they do.. Remember it happened few years ago?..
And their argument to keep guns is that restrictions lead to more crime, which is exactly what the gun lobby wants.. Ofcourse criminals are going to go to neighbouring states with restrictions, if the rules aren't applied in every state, it'll never work and getting all the guns away (in the u.s.) will take huge effort and it will get worse before it gets better!! But everytime someone tries, it's already shut in it's tracks by the ones pro 2nd amendment, there's no proper trying, it's already failing before the start of the attempt!!
The fact police are on edge and citizens too because of the 2nd amendment and that many die because of it, doesn't bother them, they think giving everyone weapons will do and is a good idea for "protection"..
How many kids are stabbed, slashed or other crimes committed by with blades in the U.K. ?
@@jackmason6747 As if knifecrime isn't a thing in the U.S...
With a gun even a 2 year old child can accidentally kill a grown up (or themselves; Less likely with a knife because if you accidentally cut yourself superficially in a less dangerous area, you're going to stop, bullets immediately cause great damage and often are deadly..), I want to ask you what 2 year old can kill a grown up with a knife?!?!
All these school shootings, everyone can kill anyone from a distance, even the biggest coward, wonder if the same would be the case with a knife.. Once you lock yourself in a classroom and barricade it, good luck to the killer being succesfull at killing!!
Always the big defence for 2nd amendment, because "what if the government attacks us" well last time I checked when news reached us about people storming the capitole, many arrets were made and one of the people got accidentally shot, eventually died and was seen in footage, just being stepped over, as if not important.. Disgusting footage of desensitized people when it comes to violence..
But we get the brainwash statements thrown in our face by the brainwashed, every time 2nd amendment is brought up..
Only it doesn't stick to us, because we're like teflon to BS!! Our kids don't even know zig zag patterns/drills or bulletproof backpacks!! Or whatever nonsense and fears children in the u.s. need, because they need these safety talks, because they live in a less safe environment than Europe, even though it's the richest country in the west, just because of the 2nd amendment.. And our police isn't on edge like u.s. police (which I understand, repect to the u.s. police), so they allmost never have to shoot (ofcourse upon infiltrating a criminal milieu, shooting might likely take place, but not with average citizens).. Cases where people were shot dead because they were *thought* to be armed with a gun, are NON EXISTANT here. *Let that sink in.* If somebody reaches in their pocket, it's most likely their wallet, because people aren't walking the street armed with deadly firearms!! No NEED for that, so which country is actually the safest?! Those with armed citizens????
@@rosebrent9440 I'm an American. I was never into guns but the last few years here the crime rate has gone way way up. I am scared to walk around and have actually thought about getting a gun. The left and their liberal policies have made me this way.
Acting like high schoolers bullies 😮.
As a black man myself, i ask, why are we Killing each other and destroying our neighborhoods...
UPRISING must be the New Word for OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL!!
Good 👍 for you Ben. Nailed it.
Ben Shapiro is blind FOOL!
Ben is just fascinating and how the left views him. He’s, white, he’s Jewish, he’s privileged, he’s a protected class. The left just flip flops whenever it’s suits their agenda when it comes to Ben.
J * w s don't see themselves as white. Only when it suits them when trashing whites.
Ben told no lies here!
Some folks are laughable.
Just because there was no discussion of racism in his home doesn’t mean that it is uncommon.
Just because you surround yourself with people who won't stop talking about, doesn't mean it is common
It’s very common with black racism. But there isn’t any systemic racism.
Guys full of shit, I don’t believe for a minute there wasn’t talks about racism in his house, no way he wound up like this, unless race was a regular topic of discussion in his family.
@@pgmallon denial isn’t evidence

Not even a fan of Ben Shapiro but he’s spitting facts in this clip
One of the best videos ive seen. Exactly what is being protested?
I've been told im not Hispanic, because I don't speak Spanish or like guacamole!
You're definitely not Hispanic bro
@garylopez1632😂 How stupid it is that people say that to you.
Lol. I've heard black people say that other black people have told them they can't be black because they like to read. How dumb is that?
You’re not human if you don’t like guacamole.😮
Crazy ,what give them to tell you who you are stupid
No one ever answers his questions
Ben you are so right 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
it is called hard work..........
