The surgeon arc is one of the best arcs in DougDoug Adventures, it does go on for a bit long but i can forgive that for all the great character moments and arcs, i also love the surgeon king and his death is one of the coolest in the series, tbh better than the divorce island arc
This idea (of other editors submitting their own edits) is very fun, but the branding of this idea (Cook-Off) is a little too far from both the channel branding (The Dougdoug Files) and the core premise of outside editor contributions. In line with the "Files" name, maybe this could be more aptly branded with ideas like "journalistic scoops," "report hotlines," "private investigators," or "outside correspondents?" Cook-Off just feels a little off to me. Great work on everything tho, otherwise!
