Watched it all in one go. I'm also a Greek Mythology geek. I loved this. Such a good plot with many arcs all coming together in the end. Brilliant cast with top performances. And yes lots of Greek Mythology easter eggs and in jokes. Brilliant show, loved it.

Prometheus’ narration really helped with the early complexity, giving just enough information to reassure me that I wasn’t watching Lost and the strands would come together - which they do. I loved it.

@@MrFubberAside from a couple decent moments, it really felt like high school level writing and character development. Acting was good, but Netflix has a terrible track record in recent years on delivering on shows that start off with good casting and good premises. It just fell flat for me. I don't care about the characters, and the writers TELLING me I should care about the characters doesn't make me care about the characters.

I’m 2 episodes in but a huge fan of Jeff Goldblum (hopefully I meet him some day) and KAOS is a load of fun. They blend drama, comedy and fantasy in a really neat way and it’s brilliantly cast. I believe it was meant to be Hugh Grant as Zeus but he had scheduling issues but I’m sure he would have worked just as well. They’re both very similar in my eyes. Great show!

Must admit I didn't listen to the end, but: alongside Goldblum, McAteer (and pretty much everyone except the Orpheus actor) I thought the standout performer was Stephen Dillane as Prometheus, doubling up as a wonderfully dry and sardonic narrator, e.g. "Ah yes, the Furies - roaming the Earth, delivering justice where they feel it has been denied. Hmmm ... subjective." or "Ooh, someone's up early." (as we see Theseus at dawn, secretly helping the Trojans)

I’m 4 episodes in and although it’s perfectly palatable, it’s nowhere near as good as the sum of its parts would suggest.
Rather ponderous, story hasn’t got going, or at east what has has been paltry. It reminds me more or American Gods which was purely style over substance.
And I hate to say this but it seems quite cheaply made. The YA Percy Jackson show has exactly the same Gods-roaming-modern-day-without-being-seen shtick but was infinitely more entertaining.
I’ll keep watching due to my inability to not finish things and the impressive cast but so dar this ain’t a scratch on EotFW.

I like it but I think the pacing is a little off is all. I think that is the thing Mark is trying to pinpoint. There is plenty there to interest but its like a bit of a slow drip of everything so far, its good, but the slower pace means there is nothing really grabbing you and dragging you headlong the way you get with some shows. Like Mark though I am only halfway through am going to watch the rest for sure, so its definitely getting the plot hooks in. I am hoping it wraps up well by the end, nothing wrong with a slow burn when it builds to a big payoff.

I found that Goldbloom and his
peers did a much better job (Hera, Poseidon, Hades) than the younger cast who (except Dionysius) lack charisma, looks or energy to hold a scene.
Apart from that I found the show aesthetically very lacking- casting and cinematography just made everyone look less believable as romantic heroes or mighty gods. Sandman and American Goddess are much better done from that perspective.
