      @@8bitthemeparklame. Big Hero 6 was a good movie, but the ride is too similar to other international Disney park rides. Even Stitch would have been a better pick. Maybe they’re just tight on a budget. I’m hoping they have a special Donald popcorn bucket, or at least bring back the one of him and the cake.

    I'm really hoping they bring back the easter theme this year, Its one of the main reason I decided to go to Disneyland Tokyo early April

    All of these events sound amazing! As of right now, I’m planning on going to Tokyo Disneyland around April 2028 for the 45th anniversary. I’m not sure if it will be super crowded or not, but I think this should be amazing to see.
    The only way I think I’d go earlier would be if Splash Mountain somehow closes before then. But I really don’t see that happening. The Oriental Land Company thankfully doesn’t seem interested in changing it at all.

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  7 месяцев назад +1

      Oh wow you’re really planning ahead! April is normally a pretty good time to visit as it’s the start of the school/work year so people are focused on studying/working.
      I think Splash is probably safe. Not only is there no controversy here, but also Splash is basically the entire land. They’d have to spend significantly more to change it than the US parks have.

      @@8bitthemepark I agree about Splash Mountain sticking around and yep!
      Right now I’m thinking around April 2028 would be a good time to go and here are some reasons why I think why.
      1. I suspect they’ll be doing something for the 45th anniversary that month.
      2. Going by your videos April is one of the least crowded months for Tokyo Disneyland. Plush Fantasy Springs and Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast will have been open for a few years by then so they should be less crowded.
      3. I’m considering moving to Orlando within the next year or so, so it should give me plenty of time to save for it.
      4. I’m honestly not sure if Splash Mountain closes for refurbishment at the beginning of the year like it did in America, but I’d definitely want to go when it’s open.
      5. Space Mountain should be open. I’ll likely only ride it once as I suspect the lines will be extremely long, but I’ll still get to see it!
      I’ll keep watching your videos to help me decide, but right now I think around April 2028 would be great!

      @@ryanstreasures2491 If I moved to Orlando I don’t think I’d be able to save any money ever again 😂
      I agree though! In 2028 Space Mountain will be the big new thing, so that will take some people away from Beauty and the Beast 😃

      @@8bitthemepark If you don’t mind me asking, do you mean you wouldn’t be able to save money ever again as you would spend it all at the theme parks, or different reasons?

      @8bitthemepark  7 месяцев назад +1

      @ryanstreasures2491 That’s exactly what I mean haha. 4 Disney parks, 2 (soon to be 3) Universal parks, I don’t think I have the self control to be able to resist going several times a week 😅

    Can you tell me if Space Mountain is anything like it’s American siblings? I rode Space Mountain at EuroDisney and I was very upset by it. I am not a fan of high thrill coasters, and wasn’t aware how extreme their version was. Having ridden three Space Mountains, I’d like to add a forth to my list, but not if there are any inversions. My daughter loves the American Space Mountains, but for some reason is too afraid to ride Gadgets Go Coaster.

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  6 месяцев назад +1

      It’s identical to California and Hong Kong’s but without onboard sound.
      I wish my daughter would ride it! It’s a struggle getting her on any coasters 😅

      @@8bitthemeparkyeah, I don’t understand “kids these days.” My daughter was too afraid to ride Slinky’s Dog Dash, but loves Hagrids Motorbike at Universal. Literally the only reason her parents ride it is because she wants to. How is that not scary, but Slinky Dog Dash and Gadgets Go Coaster is? At least I managed to get her to ride Matterhorn with me finally. I think we rode it twice, she loved it so much. I honestly don’t like the American Space Mountains either. We only ride it because she wants to.

      No promises we’ll have to wait until they release the dates on their website (should be pretty soon), but this year I’m pretty sure it reopened in the first week of February.
      Here’s where you can see ride closures (scroll to the bottom):
