Little fact, DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland are the only two Disney theme parks in the world that are not owned or operated by Disney. They just pay for the licensing of the brand and their products.
Loved your little excursion to Disneyland Tokio! Interesting that some things are in English and others (probably most?) in Japanese... Also 3 hour waiting lines are no joke but you definitely made the most of it!
OMG what an experiance! You managed to film that journey in a way it felt for me like I was there with y'all! And it was an absolute cuteness overload to watch Willa's bright shining eyes and see how much fun she's had! But what kind of a torture a 3hrs waiting line must be! LOL And Noa caused me a little philosophical thought: Seeing Noa fall asleep in all the noise and loud music reminded me of an experience I had at a lake in Baden-Württemberg. There was a Caribbean open air party. All the Caribbean mothers had their children with them, no matter how old. One woman said to me "I will never understand why you Germans cancel invitations just because you have children and no babysitter. Just take them with you, they'll just fall over when they're tired enough. All you need are a few mattresses and blankets where you can park them!" Then she laughed, kissed the baby she was carrying at her breast and went on dancing. And I thought 'she's right. We make things far too complicated! Since you are constantly traveling, you have already adopted what we could call the "carribean easyness", right?
Oh we love that story! Thanks for sharing! And yes we are really flexible with Noa’s sleep schedule. She sleeps about anywhere! Especially in our arms 😂😊
Love how enthusiastic Willa is! You have to try Europapark in Rust and Energialand in Poland if you ever happen to be in the area :) Would love to hear what you think about those.
Im glad yall had a good time. I wont do Disney due to the cost and the wait times...yall are better than I am 😂 what stamina to stand and wait and then go run to the next thing.... Glad the food was "reasonable". What smiles Willa had ❤❤. Thanks for sharing your experiences! Japan is off to a great start for yall.
Does look amazing 😻 just the long waiting not fun but the rides winnie the Phoo just adorable 🥰 . Was a long day the crowd going out was Massive hope it didn’t take you to long, you Got home safely 🥰
Hi there, first I thought it would be just Willa's day only but it seems also the elderly were very excited. I am sure you will talk about theses experiences for days afterwards when recalls pop up in your brain. Funny to see Noa is following Willas steps and take her naps where and in which position ever. Kids can sleep everywhere regardless the surroundings. Thanks for sharing your great day with us. Tschüss
Yes we were all excited to be there :) Disney wasn’t so much our thing but then we had kids and Willa’s excitement has stole our hearts and love for doing Disney with her!
Your kids are sooo adorable💖 +I recommend you to check priority pass and entry request if you're planning to go there again (sorry if you already know about these)! And disney hotels are also great!
We would have loved to go about it that way, but we try to save on cost when possible, so taking the day trip in was worth it for us! I've heard that is a great way to experience the park with a little less tress.
@@OurStorytoTell I recommend the Miracosta Hotel. You can enter Tokyo DisneySea directly from the hotel. Also, if you stay in a room with a view of the park, you can see the shows in the park from your window. However, if you have children, I think the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel would be fun to♡
I am Japanese. I was very impressed when I saw your video. We welcome people like you who are interested in Japan. What did you think of the food at Disney in Japan?
Looks like you had a great time! Definitely check out Tokyo Disney Sea when you next have a chance (and there's the big new Fantasy Springs extension coming in June 2024 I believe)
Why is Disneyland in Japan a little different from the others? There is a reason why only Disneyland in Japan has a slightly different quality. It is because in Japan, if we do not improve the quality and service, we will not be able to attract many people and keep operating revenues up. In order to succeed in business in Japan, you must respond to the needs of the market with meticulous attention to detail or you will not attract customers (i.e., you will not be able to sell or do business in Japan). This is true for all business in Japan, not just Disney amusement parks. This high level of market demand is not a new phenomenon; it has been in place since the Edo period (1603-1868), when samurai ran a practical society, 150 years before the importation of Western culture, and the behavior of the Japanese people has basically not changed. One answer to why the Japanese are so averse to laxity and demand perfection, and why they are so demanding in their services, is that while Japan's natural environment is rich in greenery and water, it is also harsh and prone to natural disasters, a mixture of heaven and hell. Therefore, it has become a basic behavior in daily life to leave no stone unturned as a precautionary measure so that one can respond to danger at any time. And perhaps this mindset has led people to demand meticulous attention to detail and perfection in commercial services as well. Because they live in a dangerous natural environment where large-scale natural disasters occur irregularly, they have become aware of the need to cooperate and help each other in order to save their own lives. This is why they have developed a culture over the years that emphasizes cooperation and mutual aid in everyday life, including the education of their children. Therefore, it is a prerequisite for suppliers to meet the needs of customers when selling products, and products that do not emphasize this are not chosen by the market in Japan, in other words, they do not sell well. We should consider that Japan is a market with such a culture at background.
Interesting insights, thanks for sharing! We have heard from many others as well, that because of the natural disasters, Japanese cultures vary greatly from other countries.
Yes! I have been here about 10 times! I visited the day before yesterday with a friend! I also love the Beauty and the Beast attraction and every time I ride it, I am impressed!
@@OurStorytoTell it's in Osaka there is also : Osaka Castle and Osaka Business Park, Tsūtenkaku tower in Shinsekai, Dōtonbori, The Dainihongu (second sanctuary) and Sorihashi bridge of Sumiyoshi Taisha shrine, Shitennō-ji within Abeno Harukas, Midōsuji Avenue and Nakanoshima island
You are such a sweet family but I think you're making a huge mistake here. I understand that you grownups like to travel but you have to think about your childrens needs. Look at Willa - she is four years old, cannot speak proper English and needs a stroller. Your children need roots and stability not parents who love to travel. Sorry if this comes across harsh. I don't mean it in a mean way.
We totally understand that! It wasn’t our thing either until now that we have kids! Willa meeting Minnie and being excited at everything is more magical than we could have imagined! 🤣

It's even worse when you have to stop all the time to film, getting the right shot, and probably reshoot some scenes.

Noa is learning japanese with the blue broschure...🤣🤣🤣
Actually, they stop giving away broschures in Japanese, because they started using apps. They only give out English ones for guests from abroad.😊
Haha she’s starting young!! 🤣

Thank you for the recommendation! We did take advantage of the priority passes and entry requests for other times that we've visited. Game changers!
