Alocasias and yours it's poly. When leafs turning yellow. Don't cut them off. She is taking all nutrition from it. Alocasias are really hungry plants and they need lots of food. Good luck. I love your plants.
Ah ok is that what it is. I’ll up the fertiliser schedule for it and see how it does, thanks!

Could you mention the common name when you talk about your plants eg wandering jew
Tradescantia is the common name. Wandering Jew is not used anymore
Hi! I have seen that you also have fungus gnat problems. So am I . The colour traps you use unfortunately are for adults only. I use them about a year now but it became out of control. I tried diatomaceous earth, thuringia bacillus (I hope I am right because my English is poor) with no success , and I am happy to tell you that I think I finds the right solution. Beneficial nematodes. Quite expensive in Greece, I hope is cheaper in England. Just watered my plants two weeks ago, and my fly traps are much cleaner. Yesterday I watered got second time and that's all (I hope). If you are interested I can tell you more details.
Hi. Yes I’ve got fungus gnats unfortunately. I think the population is going down with the sticky cards and letting the soil dry out. I might try the nematodes to get rid of them completely. How do you apply them to the plants?
@@SheffieldMadePlants I bought a little bag of 50 million population. You have to put them in the refrigerator. I watered all my 50 plants in the morning. The soil must be Moist not wet. In the evening when there is no sun I got the nematodes out of the refrigerator and let it out for 30 minutes. Then I put the half of the nematodes in water. It doesn't matter how much. If you have a large container to put 4-5 Lt its OK. I don't so I put the nematode in an 1 Lt container I mixed with a spoon let it 5 minutes to rest and its ready. I diluted with water in my watering can to make more for all plants. I watered just a little to every pot. The water must not run out of the pot. And go to bed. That's all. In two weeks my house is almost clear as soon as the adults die. The nematodes kill only larvae of course. Yesterday I watered the same way the second half of the package. (I was instructed to do so). You have to close very well with a tape the bag with the nematodes and put it back to the refrigerator in order to stay alive for two weeks. Very simple. Just two waterings. A! I forgot. It's better to use clear water (distilled or deionized).
@@SheffieldMadePlants I hope I have helped
Great, thanks for the tips. I'll give it a go for sure.
Hallo semuanya 🖐️
Selamat siang
Seems you don't like flowing plants much.
I've got a couple. What am I missing?
@@SheffieldMadePlants adenium, hibiscus, jasmin, rose
@@naveenkapoor8065 I’ve got rose in the garden among other flowering things. I tend to stick to foliage plants inside
@@SheffieldMadePlants I am also moved towards foliage now, specially calethea, philodendron, aglonema and pothos.
