- This week I use my van for the first time as I stealth camp at a bike track so I can use my Himiway Escape Pro fat tyre e-bike. The ride from Wadebridge to Padstow was very fast.

When my Brother lived in Cornwall I’d travel over from the IOW and hang out.
I’ve actually ridden the Camel Trail and loved it, did exactly the same thing except I got Rick Steins chips at the end.
I’ll be doing that again I think.
I’m currently converting my van into a stealth camper.
But I have a traditional gravel bike so pedalling all the way.

Finally had time to catch up on your van build and also your first stealth camp, I do the camel trail every year usually in May or September just love it and I usually have brilliant sunshine and what a fantastic ride and visiting of Padstow and Wadebridge 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️

I recently got a folding e-bike and it's a game changer. It fits in the front seat while I sleep in the back of my micro camper and it means I have a lot more flexibility with parking spots while still being able to get into town. Mine has an optional 12V charger so I can top up the battery while I drive as well.

Cycling to get the pasty makes it low calorie pasty. I do this by walking up the hill to the village and getting my low calorie fish and chips.
I like the bike, I've been looking into getting an electric bike but always get overwhelmed by all the different types. Will definitely look at the link.

Cross winds in an empty van are scary, also not being a negative nancy, but being an ebike check if you need insurance or not.
Brilliant I’ve done this - Wadebridge is an ideal basecamp being halfway along the Trail - I also did the Bodmin Stretch, I had a Fab couple Days 🙌🏻 🚵🏻👍🏻✨

Loved this video…this is more my kind of video…enjoying the van and the hobbies that go along with it. I always watch with hubby now and he prefers the van building stuff so whatever you film…it’s a win win for us. Really look forward to your updates. Hope Kate and Charlie didn’t miss you too much overnight. In my experience with small babies you probably had a better night’s sleep in your van than at home! 😂 Take care of yourself and your family 😀

As long as ebike got digital display, you can go into settings and adjust it so throttle works fully and no peddling needed. Just have youtube the display model or mooch about on it. Should work fine and dandy .
I've had loads ebikes. More power you use off battery and not peddling? Quicker it dies out. So just be weary of this. Which uve seen.

Cracking van id love something like that. My T5 is great but when others in it it's a nightmare lol. Great vlog by the way. I bet u had a sound sleep lol I wish I done vlogs when I had my kids so I can get a sleep.
Unfortunately for you, the best pasty place in that part of Cornwall is actually in Wadebridge. 😁
That was cool, the bike looks awesome! We did the Camel trail years ago when our kids were little, hiring bikes from Padstow to Wadebridge, really nice easy ride. Some great camera shots there!
Here in Newquay I see the council have drop a load of electricity bikes around didn't hear anything about it.

Fantastic, really enjoyed that video Shaun, what beautiful scenery to have a Pastie, Obviously your still in the Build Stage Shaun, but with all expensive gear you will be carrying I hope your going to put in a decent alarm security system. As a long term Caravan Tourer over here in Brisbane and carrying 2 Electric Scooters, Drones, and Camera Gear, its always Comforting to know when we Free Camp ( Stealth Camp ) we have a good Alarm Security System, Looking Forward to Next Weeks Episode

Great to watch this its been over 15 years since I was living in Cornwall and cycling the Camel Trail was a regular pastime x so much fun to watch x the bike looks great but not much exercise LOL ps using the toilet as a table when cooking your supper yeah/nah!

Great video shaun thats my ideal morning is the drone the DJI mini 2 as i could not see your id serial number on the drone. ? Its the only thing you have to do to be full legal.the van is coming along great SO much room. We love padstow stay safe see you on the next one buddy. 🙏

Will be a nice setup when complete, and the bike's a nifty bonus for sure. Just watch out when parking at some car parks though, as you'll get fined if you overhang your spot! 👍
