On Friday I rode my dual-motor Ariel Grizzly 92 miles up in the Antelope Valley. Was 93F that day, ugh. Rode up to Tehachapi (elev gain 2300ft, ~ half a mile of vertical gain over 11 miles), then coming back south down Willow Spring Rd I got it up to 52mph with zero wobbles; it's such a solid bike to ride. I have 2185 miles on it since last Sept.
If you sat on that bike for over three hours, please tell me what seat the bike has on it that you sat on. I know it was not three hours of continuous riding but all in one day doing 81 is impressive
That was a pretty amazing distance from one charge. Also gave us a glimpse of a very different side of LA. If you could change those ridiculous fat tyres and wheels for say 2.0" tyres you would do the 100 miles no problem.
You seem to extract my Eahoras ebike from China. My first motor was super load, I changed the grease, and it was fine, except speed control off the display. I been through most everything except the controller, I am doing 100 miles up down hills. After 6 months I finally got it to work properly. I drive 50 miles or more each ride. I have driven over 1,000 miles now. Thanks!
A very rough non linear power usage guide is 15mph = 250w 20mph = 500w 25mph = 1000w, i.e. double power gives you a 5-6mph increase in speed, so you want to go 12-15mph to get maximum range,12mph and above for ride stability.
Love your channel and informative videos. Thanks for a real test drive and review. I am probably asking for too much but I think every bike needed to be tested to clime the hill to the Hollywood observation center . Can you test the m20 on that hill ?. Thanks again and keep the good work.
Hey Bud, excellent test. What is the voltage app you're using? It's interesting that you used the voltage rather than the percentage to stretch the ride.
Hi and greetings from Canada. Great reviews. That's amazing that you got that mileage! I just got my first ebike this weekend and went for my first real ride today. Just so much fun. I wanted a moped style. A bike seat kills me so I needed that banana seat comfort at my age. I wasn't looking for distance just for weekend fun to hit the trails or whatever. I really wanted a Grizzly after watching reviews but they aren't available here. I ended up just by luck finding a great substitute made by a guy named Maor, called a ROBOCYCLE. Unfortunately there are no reviews yet for it because it's such a small company. He's the nicest guy and has built a beast that has dual motors and is amazingly comfortable. I promise if you reach out to him he'd love to get you on one of his bikes. He's designed a beast for the price. The one I got was the newest one, it's blacked out, and I got a ton of compliments on it. I hope you get in contact with him and get the chance to to review the bike I own. Would love to hear what a professional rider thinks. Stay safe and happy travels.
Hey man, I'm another canadian in the market for a new bike and the robocycle definitely has caught my eye. Any comments on the performance, battery life, and speed of your bike? Sounds like you got the robocycle 3? Thanks!
@@justinreinsma9772 Yeah I have the 3 and it's awesome. Battery life is like most bikes. It depends on terrain, rider weight, using pedal assistance, full throttling, using both motors, temperature, etc. On average I ride it pretty hard and like to get up to speed fast so I eat up the battery more than if was trying to save it and I don't pedal a lot. I'd say I'd get about 50kms +/- range but I've never ridden it to dead batteries. That's good for a heavy bike and plenty of distance if you're using it for fun. My commute is 16kms one way and mostly flat. Using just the small battery at full throttle and rear motor only, except for taking off at green lights, I will have like 45% battery left when I arrive.
@@justinreinsma9772 The range is good but this ebike is really about the smile it'll put on your face. The way it takes off and shocking traffic at every light is worth the price of admission 100%. It never gets old gapping cars and waving bye as you vanish in the bike lane when they hit traffic. Not to mention the way it climbs hills and holds speed with two motors makes it a game changer. It's literally too powerful sometimes to use the AWD because the front tire will spin out if you're not moving and ready for it. I've learned a technique to get the best launch and not waste the battery doing burnouts. Anyone you know who has an ebike will be blown away at the torque and build quality is top notch. The owners name is Maor. Tell him I sent you and he'll hook you up. I look forward to hearing your thoughts after you get it. If you're in the GTA we can go Out Fer A Rip Bud!
@@arischreiber2213 thanks for your answers man it's super helpful! I saw some robocycles at a bike show yesterday and they're very nice. Just found (subscribed) your channel. Hvae you reviewed a class 1 bike with an assist button? It's a button that just gives you a momentary boost. Do you go thru drive-thrus often on your ebike? Have you ever been told it’s not for bikes? I just got an eTrike and that would be cool to go thru the drive thru and not worry about locking it up outside.

And these come in all sizes like 35 AMPS or 25 AMPS?
that crazy helicopter was an Osprey. Probably an MV-22 from either Camp Pendleton or MCAS Miramar in San Diego.
Great vid!
Put Flat Out in all your e-bike tires and never worry about flat tires..That stuff stays wet in your intertube and has Kevlar fibers that quickly seal leaks of all sizes, $16 dollars for 32 ounces, which fills 2--26 inch fat tires...I have it in motorcycle tires, fat bikes, 4 wheelers, tractor, wheel barrow and have never had a flat tire, ever..
Great e-bike test.. plus a tour of the LA area. NICE.
Can’t wait for that Lectric Xpedition and Hovsco Hovcart reviews.
If you didn't do the Hollywood sign climb you could have I think. That hill was a lot of stress
At 18:42 that aircraft is a V-22 Osprey. Ot can take off like a helicopter and fly like an airplane.
At right around the 3-minute mark looks like you could have picked up a date or two 🎉🎉
Hi and greetings from Canada.
@@arischreiber2213 wow thanks man. I think you very just convinced me to seriously consider robocycle 3 instead if 1, that range sounds great.
Only thing holding me back that maybe you might know about is hoe would you recommend locking something like this up? At my home i have a parking garage so that's fine, but when I've taken it to work how can I keep someone with an angle grinder from grinding away? The bike does seem pretty large, so I'm worried it wouldn't fit in indoor bike rooms at work.
😮really a nice view of. Hollywood drive past maddona home
100 miles Never pedaling this bike @ 2:37 pedaling the bike, lol.. great video by the way! your channel is very informative keep it going..
Just found (subscribed) your channel. Hvae you reviewed a class 1 bike with an assist button? It's a button that just gives you a momentary boost. I'm looking into a "lightweight" ebike with 2+ inch tire that has that feature. That is assuming the lightweight (under 45lbs) bike are going to be class 1's.
I just bought this bike today. My name is Mike and I'm 6'5" and 200 lbs. Hello, twin.
How is this ebike can you share your 7 months experience dear brother.?🤗
Feedback plz
Really good video. The views were great, I was worried for you on the road. Very cool. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hay dude. you should review the new A8 Pro Max 52V (Dual Motor). I have two of the single motors aniioki's Sorry, i bought them before i knew about you. Would love to see a real review on this one. They are just now taking orders. Thanks for all the great vids!!!!
Great vids, I could watch these all day. are you using a chest strap for the go pro? Keep up the great work!!!
Yes I am, external mic too
I am dying. This is a great video brother. “That car has to be worth more than that entire block back there” 😂
Any reason you dont recommend that bike? 100 miles seems unheard of unless it cost 5k+
So after such a long ride I'd like a follow up review of the bike. I'm 6'1" 295lbs and want an ebike but it needs to have atleast 50 miles range with me riding it. I had my eye on this bike and the Wallke H6. Do you have any experience with the Wallke H6? What would you recommend?
8:35 a Mercedes-Benz w123 300D turbo diesel
Do you go thru drive-thrus often on your ebike? Have you ever been told it’s not for bikes? I just got an eTrike and that would be cool to go thru the drive thru and not worry about locking it up outside.
how much do regen breaks even help?
Wow!! Which electric bike is your favorite and why? Thank you!
Enjoyed the ride through town and review.great review
Thanks for watching!
Bro great ass video fr fr. Imma first time watcher and I subbed and liked. Fck with the dope pov and commentary
How do you lock this bike? What lock do you use? I’m thinking of the Hiplock D1000, but looking at the size of the wheels and frame shape I’m not sure?
I’ve just ordered two bikes! Thanks!
How do you get to Skid Row? Addiction and bad luck can do it. Now how do you get to Carnegie Hall?
Hey can you tell me the exact location you are at starting around 18:56 of your video? Along the beach with the long bike path. Thinking about vacationing around that area and that’s where I want to be. Coming from Michigan.
Nice, I'm from Indiana. That is the Santa Monica Pier area with Muscle Beach on the right. Enjoy your visit and say hi if you see me cruising haha
@@TailHappyTV thanks!
my advise getting 20 inch tubeless tires that are decent plus slime be good. I love the aq 177 no more range anexty and it hold speed pretty decent and the range u can get
Slime is shit just patch it and put air
@@gates1980 i assume u never had tubeless tire b4
28:00 - Why didn't you make a U-turn when you reached 50 miles? It would have saved you from having to charge the battery at Ch🐔kFil-A.
How do you use Pedal assist. On Aniioki A8 Pro Max 52Volts getting Max speed 31,32,33,mph
The best way to Fry your battery, not helping up the hills with your pedals. You dont have a BMS on your battery? You can possible fry Eggs on your motor now.
Dude.
Would you PLEASE review the new Aniioke A9.
I watch you all the time on your channels and I would greatly appreciate you reviewing the A9
I know exactly the trail you are on in the Hollywood Hills. I have hiked to the Hollywood Sign you drove to but never rode my bike. I don't think bikes are allowed there but I never saw park rangers there either so I see how you were not kicked out.
this is a rather niche form on entertainment for me, but I find it oddly relaxing to watch content of people riding ebikes in california for some reason
same here, as someone who got priced out of the housing market in the early 1990's from the Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley area, and moved to Las Vegas,
I find the reviews covering a lot of Southern, California fascinating now,

Thanks For a fun and entertaining and informative post!
You Sir are a Wildman!!🐺
Is this a better purchase than a lectric? I want something like the lectric, what should I be considering?
Velotric
How do you find how much battery power you have without looking at the bars on display? How do you go into the display to find how much battery power do you have?
Outstanding job. And we got to see LA. Fantastic Ebike.
Should I buy this bike or which one is better on long range, hills, woods, sands, snow etc? Thanks.
Get the wired freedom

2:38....pedaling 🤔😂✌🏽I cannot find the perfect ebike 😫 I was looking into this one for the throttle only range but....I like that wired ebike😁
Great video! Riding through skid row with hundred dollar bills in your pocket! LOL
Very interesting scenery and cityscape! These videos would be so boring if you did them where I live! Haha
Top speed of my dual battery factory upgraded (suspension and lights) with a skinny 140 rider (not me! I am 250lbs) is 43 MPH using GPS. Throttle only, fully charged, tire pressure 20psi cold.
I know when the girl with the blue floss rode by I could’ve found a couple amp hours in my legs lol
I bought at A7 pro and had numerous problems with various parts loud motor bent fenders bent cargo rack. Bent rear rack.
They told me I can't put a person on the passenger seat which I found pretty odd that they would give me a passenger seat that I can't put a person on.
They offered to send replacement parts but I refuse to install parts on a brand new bike and demanded a replacement bike which they refused unless I purchased a new box to put it in. Ultimately they're going to pick the bike up next week and give me a full refund for all the problems I've had
Dude, I need you to do a ExtraLarge Cargo trailer video on these large battery E-bikes. The Carla Cargo trailer for example with this
This would be perfect to go from Whittier Narrows in San Gabriel along the LA River to Long Beach and back. Long Beach is about 25 miles each way.
Wow, great idea, pass that on everywhere,
That's actually the San Gabriel River.
28.05 was my favorite part of your video.
Great review and really nice bike but I don't think I'll ever visit LA
The Amazon link shows the bike as currently unavailable, love your videos, thank-you for your effort
Greetings from Holland ! I enjoyed your ride ❤
6:56 that guy walking into your path was attempting to make you crash so him or one of his buddies could snag your bike. Always be situationally aware it’s easy to get distracted when filming riding and being on your phone.
Great ride. What app are you using battery voltage?
What is the orange bike you were robbing the wheel from?
hey dude, love your videos. Could you please do a video on Volcan Brat. Like doing a range and power test on it
Which one performs a little better, this one or the Rundeer Attack10?
That noise is the magnets coming loose. Same thing happened to my diy ebike after alot of hill abuse. Never fixed if take easy not make noise. If could go back would have took more easy on hills.
What is the degree of the hill going to the Hollywood sign?
