Awesome jump rope boxing movie compilation. Cool to see Will Smith (Ali) at the beginning. “I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” Ali :)
Hi Ashbel, your first of many double unders hopefully. That's awesome! In case you're interested, I have some double under "how to" videos. The first is a detailed tutorial while the other two provide some extra pointers: ruclips.net/video/TOyUrAwumF8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/D8qfcCReOhY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/0snkmZVFpXg/видео.html Best wishes.
Delighted you enjoyed it! It's from the intro to No More Pain (2Pac). Funny, it made its way into this video accidentally. I think I was listening to it while working on making the video and somehow it must have pasted into the editor over the other audio.
This video is absolutely amazing, but broken. Would love to share it with the kids. Audio drops out at 1 minute, then cuts off early. Anyone have a better version?
Thank you. Copyright got the better of the audio. Try this one; same video with different audio: ruclips.net/video/xiAKMe1QOwM/видео.html&ab_channel=TheWayoftheJumpRope
Cheers Peter! Those are good boxing movies. One lesser known boxing movie that I like is Gladiator starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Marshall. Have you seen it?
Andrew Dunne - The Way of the Jump Rope is it as important as shodow boxing and focusing on other muscle part such as working on squats or push up and develop other parts rather skipping then do boxing trainign too
j winter - Jumping rope is great for improving things like conditioning, footwork, agility, and balance, and that's why the jump rope is so commonplace in boxing clubs and a boxer's training regimen. Arguably however, exercises that more closely mimic actual boxing like shadow boxing, bag work, mitts, and sparring are more important.
Not the best of technique that's for sure. He probably learned quickly enough for the role. Maybe he jumped extra high for effect. Speaking of Rocky, I was listening to the Rocky 4 soundtrack today while driving. It has some great tunes, real uplifting ones.
This is the number one greatest video about motivation I ever met. That uploader.
Pich Lim - I'm glad you like it so much. That's awesome! Thank you.

Cheers Peter! Those are good boxing movies. One lesser known boxing movie that I like is Gladiator starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Marshall. Have you seen it?
No, haven't seen it. Will watch it one day soon. Thanks for the recommendation. G'day!

1:08 the picket fence scene! What movie please ?
It's Rocky Marciano with the actor Jon Favreua.
i did not find this scene from rocky marciano learning to jump rope and ive watched the movie.
01:01 Stallone had balls to drop the mic after jumping rope like that. :D

Todo se puede 💪🇨🇱
Thank you Alexander!
Time to take oath, never give up.
is it necessary to do that during your training
j winter - necessary to do what?
Andrew Dunne - The Way of the Jump Rope is it as important as shodow boxing and focusing on other muscle part such as working on squats or push up and develop other parts rather skipping then do boxing trainign too

Skipping is important, but not absolutely essential

The Boxer starring Daniel Day Lewis
@@thewayofthejumprope thank you 🙏
1:49 movie ?
What movie is at 1:07?
Hey NosePrint - the movie is called Rocky Marciano with Jon Favreau.
Andrew Dunne - The Way of the Jump Rope - Thank you Andrew Dunne!
00:35 which movie is this?
Million Dollar Baby
Who is he 0.39?
Hey there, that's from the movie The Boxer starring Daniel Day Lewis.
Thank you very much!
My God Stallone never got much better at rope skipping 20 years later. He jumps rope worse then he acts.
The impact of some of Stallone's movies on peoples lives has been huge.
Southpaw is the best.
Cool! I quite like the scene from The Boxer at 0:47.
Can anyone tell the movies names?
Hey there asad325able, in the description, I included the names of the boxing movies in the order that they appear in this video.
Best wishes.
I have the lightest feet from skipping
Wow that was Adam Corolla?? Dude can skip!
Seeing Jake guillenhal jumping Rope is painful to watch
Why?

A majority of the folks in this video are doing double understand is wrong
That is true. They are using inefficient technique. With a few tweaks, they could do them much better.
terrible jumping techniques they have got there
rocky had bad technique
Not the best of technique that's for sure. He probably learned quickly enough for the role. Maybe he jumped extra high for effect.
Speaking of Rocky, I was listening to the Rocky 4 soundtrack today while driving. It has some great tunes, real uplifting ones.
Rocky has terrible form
