Every year Hundreds if not Thousands of people go missing in forests around the world. What is happening to them? Are they simply getting lost, or is something TAKING them?
Case 1: Casey Hathaway 2019. 2 1/2 year old Casey Hathaway VANISHED a without a trace, while playing outside his grandmothers house. When he was later located he claimed he was "hanging out with his friend the bear, and the bear kept him company".
Case 2: Larry and Janet McGee and Steven Cross 1951. Aged 7,5, and 3 respectively, were playing in the Santa Fe Ski Basin while out for a day in nature when they seeming disappeared into thin air. When they were found they claimed they were chased up the mountain by a bear and a gorilla.
Case 3: James Vaughn 1883. 18 month old James suddenly vanished right from under his mothers nose as she was doing laundry. When searchers arrived they found abnormally large "bear prints" and followed them 4 miles where they found James unharmed. How could a bear carry a child that far with no signs of bite marks or injury?
Were these children taken by bears? or were they taken by something else all together?

The first story was my favourite. I’d be curious to see how Casey would explain the story now that he’s a bit older.
I would be too, but at that age he might not remember.

Good stories .... I reckon the kids seen what they thought was a gorilla 🦍 .... I've seen some pretty weird and freaky unexplainable things in my short time outdoors ..... But One of the scariest moments in my life happened indoors , I'll never forget it as horrible and frightening as it was - over 20 years have past & many therapy sessions and I still get scared in the dark .... I remember it was a man dressed in ALL black he towered over me & looked down at me with those cold blood shot eyes and said " till death do you part "

A Sasquatch maybe? I've never seen one but I don't discount others encounters of what they saw.
There is NO bigger fear as a parent. I have a feeling that there are lots of creatures we don't know about.
I 100% agree, I don’t know what I would do if one of my kids was missing, I would not be able to handle it… I’d go crazy.
Without question that is mine.
That's why, as a parent, I never allowed my kid out of sight without an adult, those kids were too young in stories 1 and 2 to be without an adult.
You are absolutely right. Theres a whole plethora of creatures out there that the average person not only doesn’t know about but the sheer number of different types of creatures that live out in the remote wilderness would make someone go crazy.

I think the feral people wear bear skins that include the bear head and face. Maybe as a disguise or to scare people. And deer skin

@@darkwilderness2392 Love to hear your stories. It makes sense as native people all around the world use skins to keep warm and native Americans see bears as spiritually protective and powerful. They put bears on their totem poles to ward off enemies. I saw another RUclipsr video in Appalachia that saw what looked like a bear opening its mouth and hiding behind trees, but not like a real bear, more animated and robotic like it was a person.

I'm pretty sure that was a bigfoot and not a gorilla. We know bears are not going to baby set the kids.
I have seen a Sasquatch as a teen so completely believe but Casey really shouldn't have survived that escapade so why did he??? Something or Someone else was certainly involved but not sure what?
I agree, someone or something was looking after him 100%.

When I was that age and out playing with siblings and friends, we always had someone around, an older teenager, keeping an eye on us.
As for Casey, I believe him because why would children lie?
If that gorilla is what we THINK it might be, maybe it knew Casey was just a baby and meant him no harm.

Holy smokes what a story about little Casey. Bears are typically hibernating in January so highly unlikely, it was a bear. This sounds like our roaming cryptid of North America that took this little guy.
Those frightened children huddled up together in a hollow log. They were saying they were pursued by both a bear and a 'gorilla', we would reasonably assume was sasquatch. I think the sasquatch was probably keeping them safe from the bear and it might've gone in search of this bear for a meal to take back to its clan.
Wow for James the 18 month old, found it what was described as a large lair, seems like the dens that were found in the Olympic peninsula in Washington state, and strongly believed to be sasquatch dens.
Am so happy all four children were found safe. Can't imagine the panic and fear the parents were feeling. As a parent I'd be beside myself and would become a doughnut case!

I am happy they were all found unharmed as well, there are alot of cases where they aren’t found or are found deceased.
