How to build the BEST roundabouts in Cities: Skylines (Vanilla VS modded)

- In this Cities:Skylines [Sunset Harbor DLC] video you can see a vanilla player and a modder building a roundabout. The vanilla player has no mods but is using all tips & tricks to build a good looking build in Cities: Skylines. The modder has a modded game with move it, road anarchy and Traffic Manager: President Edition & so on.

Very nice indeed. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you seem to have used anarchy and move it on that “vanilla” roundabout, though.
2:17 Anarchy seems to have been used to connect those roads (it’s practically impossible to make the grass glitch out appearing on top of the road without it)
2:29 Move it seems to have been sneakily used (and cut out during editing) to move the road very slightly - a known solution to fix the grass glitch.
You can also see the mouse pointer jump from one point in the screen to another on the 2:29 minute mark (when the screen goes from colored to that B&W mode).
Anarchy makes Chirper red
You used Trafic Manager in the first one 3:07 you can see the skip on the right, when the bypass lane connects to the two way highway normally it will give you option to turn both ways, and after TM it only turns right. I understand why you used it, and THIS kind of situation gave me reason to switch to the PC version, because of the TM in general. Nice design tho.

As I see that those inside need to cross the incoming traffic...
Could you do one roundabout where the inflow joins through an overpass or an underpass?
I prefer to build more vanilla with minimal use of Anarchy or MoveIt, but I will use Traffic Manager, Node Controller, and Intersection Marking Tool to clean up and prettify things.
No body does much on xbox that I can find, so thank you for showing this. please do more on console videos. I just love this roundabout, cant wait to try it.

Forgot one little thing: making the traffic entering the roundabout yield to traffic already on the roundabout... kinda important an feature...
Without mods it s not possible to set a yield. But you can set up stop signs I think.

Juhu...er ist wieder zurück🥳 Ich finde beide Kreisverkehre sehen gut aus...wenn man bedenkt, was man da jeweils für Möglichkeiten hat 🤷🏼♂️ Der zweite gefällt mir aber im direkten Vergleich viel besser😍 Finde auch die neuen Hinweisfenster echt sehr gut gelungen. Vor allem das, auf dem steht, was man alles benötigt👍🏻 Ich selber klatsche einfach den Standardkreisverkehr, der vorgebaut ist, hin, und gut ist🤷🏼♂️😅 Vielleicht noch Paar Felsen und Bäume drum herum...aber mehr net🙈

I've been using the latest node controller and marking tool mods and was just wondering watching your video if there is a barrier or barrel (you know, the high speed impact kind filled with water to slow a vehicle) type of filler or if you can use the line prop tool and a barrel asset? Does either exist and which is easier to use iyo. Anyone feel free to reply, of course.

My city is too good for roundabouts so it has a traffic flow of 78%!

The vanilla roundabout doesnt work as shown, the slip lanes turn in both ways with no mods but how are they not doing that in the "vanilla" roundabout in the video? sadly wasted time on trying to make it, after it doesnt even work :/
He used traffic manager on the lanes to change the lane arrows. Looks like move-it was also used early on to get rid of some clipping.
My own issue is how the modded is handled with not fully using the mods (not sure what traffic manager settings were used to compensate for the road type changes). You get issues when using a normal two-lane road and just making it look different with intersection marking tool (speed limits and yielding/stopping changes compared to highway road). You can see how much better the vanilla highway version flows with the highway splitting in the center and using a little lane math.
