      Great recommendation! I’ll have to pick some up and see if I can get the rest of it off. Do you do anything special with it? Or just follow their instructions?

    • @RealSuperRando

      @@MotoHeadKyle Just follow the instructions. It takes a while because the grit is extremely fine. Use a circular motion when rubbing.

    I just bought and installed a step up saddleman seat and I am 6 foot two. One major issue that I have is that the new seat pushes me forward and the foot controls are now very uncomfortable.

    Great video, thank you. Saddlemen doesn't offer the Touring Step Up in the extended reach option, you can only get the standard, non-touring Step Up with extended reach. Does your Touring Step Up push you very much further forward than the stock Harley seat? I'm 6'2" and wouldn't want to be much further forward than what I am now with the Harley seat.

    Alright Kyle, I have 2 questions about this seat. I have a 21 snake venom street glide. Is this a similar seating position as stock. I'm 5'8" tall but have a very short inseam around 28"-29" so finding a seat has been a challenge for me. I was originally looking at the road sofa, but I hear too many people say it sits you up about 1.5 inches. So looking into this seat as an alternative.
    Second question. How big is the passenger section compared to the stock seat? Is it wider, more narrow, or about the same? I would ideally like something wider than stock for the passenger, but stock width would also be fine.

    • @MotoHeadKyle
      @MotoHeadKyle  Год назад

      Yes, haven’t sat on the road sofa myself it’s huge! Comfy but challenging for us shorter in seemed riders. The passenger portion is slightly smaller, not by much. It’s just shaped a little differently. It is however much wider than my sdc pro passenger portion

  • @goncalom1898
    @goncalom1898 Год назад

    how comfortable is it compared to the regular step up?

    • @MotoHeadKyle
      @MotoHeadKyle  Год назад +2

      The tuck and roll is way more comfortable than the LS stitch. Other than that it’s practically the same seat for the rider. However for the passenger it is significantly more comfortable

  • @joestreetglider
    @joestreetglider Год назад

    Does this seat sit you up or same level as stock? Does it also sit you forward or back more?

    • @MotoHeadKyle
      @MotoHeadKyle  Год назад +1

      It sits the same level, seat it self is more narrow so you gain a little bit more footing with your inseam, if I had to say it inches you up a bit and has you sitting more balanced. Unless you’re super tall than maybe this seat wouldn’t be the best choice

  • @chrisg2k1

    What has more backs support the sdc pro or the tour step

    • @MotoHeadKyle

    • @MotoHeadKyle
      @MotoHeadKyle  Год назад
