jen is the most obvious one tho 😂 she was drowned and that dude tried to kill her! but coz she’s a witch she didn’t die and instead her powers disappeared (most likely from her trauma surrounding using her powers)
I don’t think Lilia avoided death when her coven was wiped out. It was more like she know death was coming for everyone in the coven but she is unable to find a way to prevent it. And up till the road, Lilia is more concerned about how to face her death as she know it is unavoidable bc she have been seeing herself falling down ever since she started to live out of order again.
My theory is billy subconsciously created the witches road (hex) without knowing just like wanda did with her hex. Sharon said she expected to see the failed railroad transit system down there and the right side of the fork in the road in this episode was a train. Jenn also mentioned passing a subway earlier. They are actually below westview walking that railroad system. It explains why agatha doesnt recognize any of it and is always scared. The cards said that she is being truthful so she has walked the road before and she couldnt control her powers when she killed alice. The door didnt appear after the ballad was sung, it appeared once the salem seven broke into the house and billy was scared and needed a way out. He is initiating every trial as well. Rio cannot kill, she can only collect so i just think she is there to collect the bodies. I think billy is gona be the villain somehow in the end. He said hes not that nice and he is wandas son and wanda also has a bad side
Billy being blamed as the villain would be a huge twist. And imagine if Death basically releases them all and brings Alice and Lilia and Sharon back at the end of the road because they proved their worth, that would mean Death basically protected them on the witches road. Mind-blowing!
That's what I've been seeing other people comment as well, but I took that as just a hallucination and that she wasn't actually ever drowned or almost drowned to what we know. But maybe she was...? I do like the thought of her being a midwife and her somehow helping people quite possibly avoid death during certain situations, which would probably piss Death off.
I believe Lilia has been time slipping like Loki did. So she’s seen future events even though she may not actually be there. Also, time is a spiral and it’s not linear like we normally think of it.
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse The way I understand her power is that her mind/consciousness is able to visit/enter her body at different time points in her life. It’s not her physical body go through time. So she shouldn’t be able to visit a time in the future where her body isn’t present/she’s not alive
my one quibble is... Billy doesn't have issues with Wanda, he has no memories of her. He only knows what he's heard from Mr. Bohneriffic, and what he reads online. He's pretty sure she is somehow his mother, that he is an imaginary child somehow made real, and that there is a twin called "Tommy" out there somewhere. That's it. If he does reunite with Wanda, expect a lot of angsty teen shouting before the hugging happens.
I took all of those experiences they went through in that trial as hallucinations and not things that actually physically happened to them, either in the past or during the trial.
Billy can't remember anything before the crash. The only family he knows is the Kaplans. That's his mom. And he has this connection to Tommy ao that's who he's looking for. But the Kaplans are family. They raised him his whole life from his point of view.
I think we all know why Agatha can't absorb Death's powers, as a cosmic entity her power would be too much for Agatha, like how wielding the infinity gauntlet killed Iron Man. But I'm fascinated to learn why Agatha said Death "isn't allowed" to kill her! Do they have some sort of contract, maybe the contract that gave Agatha the Darkhold?
I assume it's because Death doesn't kill, it simply collects the dead. Rio can't kill her because directly killing anyone is against Death's "rules" of operation.
Jac has made two of the best tv shows in HISTORY. They aren’t just good marvel shows, Wandavision and Agatha all along Transcend marvel. (This isn’t a marvel diss)
Possible spoiler I have a theory, she told agatha something about the future. Meaning one of two things Either she did divination without any one noticing, or she didn't die and lived it out of order.
I think Rio created the witches road (and the trial for the Soul Stone) as a farm for “witch power”, and Agatha being a powerless, ruthless coward cheated her way through the road to get power. The trick being her power is only another tool for Death. Her hunger for power is to protect her son, but ironically is what takes him away. She was left with an ancient power in the Darkhold that would also be taken away by fate. I think Agatha comes clean about the road being a trap all along, and they cheat Death by letting Agatha be a vessel for their spirits (instead of the corrupted attack dog Rio led her to be). A play on low road versus high road. Possibly because an MCU spirit witch can commune with the dead-which would weaken Death’s power in some metaphorical way. Another possibility is the line Teen says about not being good either is a hint towards The Prestige, a movie about illusions, twins, identity, electricity kinda, and the true cost of magic. IDK i am rambling and just brainstorming threads they could be on. I think this is tied with Legion S1 in terms of Marvel Adaptations. Practical effects, some Aubrey Plaza, it’s all they’ve ever really needed. Where Legion S1 excelled was the story didn’t need to tie into the larger lore, but the MCU shows and movies need that continuity seasoning. Just a bit of flavor. Moon Knight, too little. The Marvels? Too much. Secret Invasion? Absolutely ruined.
Personally I think as far as Jen goes she does have a minimum amount of access to her powers this is so weak that she couldn't really do anything with it which could explain parsley how she's able to live so long and do some Monumental things possibly we just haven't seen her do yet I think it's just extremely limited what she can do but since she's mostly potions is her main thing she can still do magic easily when it comes to using potion bass Magic anyway which kind of is a plus for her since that's her Main sing with her being bound anyway which is possibly why she's able to live possibly why she's able to live longer I mean she probably has been avoiding dying because of her basic get powerful skill that she's able to do even bound. And I think that Billy will come to terms with his identity of being both people that he is now. Agatha actually is going to windup regaining her powers when she gets over her biggest challenge which is redeeming herself in some way because the most way she is Her Own Worst Enemy. And I think when she does something to do that she will be Unbound I also think that there's a huge chance that like someone said on another Channel that I watched her in Regal are going to want that fighting in since Rio is death I think since Alex's ability is if she sit with somebody's Magic like she said she can't help but absorb it but she also sometimes tries to it was where people's magic intentionally I think what will happen is Rio's going to try and kill either Jen or more likely Billy using her magic putting Agatha in the immediate line of making a choice of sacrificing herself possibly in pulling in instilling Rios magic possibly making Agatha become the new death and simultaneously also killing Rio in the process essentially killing and defeating death itself. Which might actually give Agatha not only the ability to possibly bring back the Scarlet Witch if she is actually dead but also even though it's likely but who knows all three women who have died during the trials on the road I think she might bring back Mrs heart AKA Sharon Davis. I think she will also if that happened bring back Lilia and Alice this is just speculation probably wouldn't happen but I think if she somehow did defeat death and become death she might do that but possibly not as well. Also something I kind of noticed watching each person who has died it kind of does represent something light from The Wizard of Oz even those who haven't. Mrs heart AKA Sharon Davis condo represented the Scarecrow because in a way she kind of representative Brian's because you didn't have any knowledge of how to do magic but obviously had the potential since she was able to be substituted for the green witch based on her gardening skills possibly Inlet for nature I mean she probably has the potential to be a pretty powerful witch hatch she actually studied and had the knowledge meaning she was lacking the brain part of bingo witch. Alice I think kind of represents the heart actually in the Tin Man for this matter because she is dealing with anger and resentment torture mother that learns to love and forgive her mother and realize everything she did was to protect her regains her heart to love her mother that she lost along the way is she lived her life after her mother died. And I think that Lilia kind of represents the Cowardly Lion because she really just needed courage to be confident within herself in her own craft and ability of being a witch and to learn to trust in her own power that she naturally had that she felt left button reality like her mother said never went anywhere. Obviously gin can represents the group is a hole because she kind of wants a leading them. Call Agatha represents so long to belong to something that all the characters throughout the Wizard of Oz series kind of embody in some way or another. Where is Rio kind of represents the wicked witch witch fit since she is the original green witch. And also Billy represents most obviously Dorothy Gale because he has power but doesn't know how to properly use it and is walking down the road with the new friends trying to find the family that he has lost I'm kind of finding his way in the world along the way
Watsonian answer: because one didn't transform quick enough. Doylist answer: because by the end there will probably be only Billy & Agatha left so they only need 2 of the 7 to face them.
not a single word you say, and that word i believe is Telepathically. i need to get this off my chest. because Lilia is an old wise witch, but she uses the word telepathically instead of telekinetically. Telepathy is about the mind, and I wont post my theory here, but i think her using telepathy and not telekinetically makes a difference. this might all just be a big mind thing
Agatha absorbed Nick's energy. She will redeem herself by absorbing a blast that was intended for Billy from Rio or one of the reanimated witch zombies under Rio's control. and perish in the process. Billy will escape with Jen who went back to the subway exit after sacrificing herself and getting buried during the Earth Trial. I think it took most of Jac Shaffer's influence to get this series made because she really wanted an MCU older women's story. Unfortunately, she might be trapped in her own Hex and Disney might not let her into its more Heteronomative Cinematic Feature properties.
Jen is also over a century old: "I'm offering you a chance to finally lift the binding spell that has kept you magicless for the last... what... century?" It's a great point about them all avoiding death! She would be after them, wouldn't she? Also, I'm calling it now. Agatha can't control her power to absorb the power of others. During her Salem trial, "No! I cannot control it. If only you would teach me!" And after she (seemingly instinctually) absorbed Alice's powers, she seemed so shocked and remorseful, stating to Billy, "I couldn't... I couldn't control it." Which Billy immediately doubted, but then during the Tarot trial, he pulls a card which makes him believe she has been being honest and telling the truth. Couple that with the fact that Evanora says she was born evil and says she should have killed her the moment she left her body... What if while in the womb, Agatha was absorbing Evanora's power without even meaning to?
I would definitely think that Rio is after them for avoiding death in someway but I don't believe Rio can actually kill them, she only take their bodies/souls once they are dead. I completely agree with your take on Agatha not being able to control her powers. And that's a good point that I never thought of about Agatha stealing Evanora's powers while in the womb!?!
Let's hold such judgements until this series wraps up - if they stick the landing WITHOUT resorting to a sky beam CGI fight finale, this show will take the crown.

Such a great episode I think that Jen escaped death when she got trapped by that doctor and he attempted to drown her
That's what I've been seeing other people comment as well, but I took that as just a hallucination and that she wasn't actually ever drowned or almost drowned to what we know. But maybe she was...?
I do like the thought of her being a midwife and her somehow helping people quite possibly avoid death during certain situations, which would probably piss Death off.
Maybe Jen’s avoiding deaths has been her role as a midwife who has saved plenty of mothers and babies?
This is very true and I totally overlooked that. Thanks for sharing!
How does Lilia see the “hit the deck” moment if it’s an event that happens post her death?
Does this mean she isn’t dead?….
I believe Lilia has been time slipping like Loki did. So she’s seen future events even though she may not actually be there. Also, time is a spiral and it’s not linear like we normally think of it.
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse
The way I understand her power is that her mind/consciousness is able to visit/enter her body at different time points in her life.
All great points and I agree that if he does reunite with Wanda, he's not going to be happy at first... Appreciate you watching and sharing!
That guy tried to drown Jen so she, too, escaped death.
I took all of those experiences they went through in that trial as hallucinations and not things that actually physically happened to them, either in the past or during the trial.
The wizard of oz ending with the characters already having what they seaked would also make sense for the title, Agatha All Along.
You know, that really does make sense
Billy can't remember anything before the crash. The only family he knows is the Kaplans. That's his mom. And he has this connection to Tommy ao that's who he's looking for. But the Kaplans are family. They raised him his whole life from his point of view.
This is very true! This is part of the reason why I think he'll have almost a split personality moving forward.
Also, I love some peoples interpretation of Lilia’s ‘condition’ and portrayal of it as an allegory for Alzheimer’s or dementia.
i think jen will lead a new generation of witches like witchhood like the sorcerors of kamataj - maybe she will lead the midnight suns
You're not the first person I've heard mention that she'll be with the Midnight Suns, which makes sense she did in the comics
Jen had a flashback of being drowned by that doctor guy
I took that as just a hallucination and not necessarily that actually happened. I guess we'll find out tonight!
Omg wizard of oz idea: what if Billy could have manifested Tommy all along? Created like Wanda. If he's Dorothy.
This is a good thought! I've had points where I thought Billy had created the road as a hex this entire time.
❤
Appreciate you watching!
Honestly people who hate on every Marvel show are so basic
I see no lie
Everything is amazing. Love it!
💯
i just hate how short each episodes are tho
You look really good
Appreciate the kind words ☺️
Jac has made two of the best tv shows in HISTORY. They aren’t just good marvel shows, Wandavision and Agatha all along Transcend marvel. (This isn’t a marvel diss)
No, I completely get it! Those 2 shoes are legit some of the best television I’ve ever watched
She needs to join the avengers haha
That she does!
AAA is definately the best Marvel TV series so far. And yes exceeds Wandavision
Agreed. Even though I liked Wandavision, it honestly isn't even my second or third favorite. This show, though... 😮💨
Possible spoiler
I have a theory, she told agatha something about the future. Meaning one of two things
Either she did divination without any one noticing,
or she didn't die and lived it out of order.
I absolutely love this!

Can't kill a bad bi-
i mean bad witch
And also Billy represents most obviously Dorothy Gale because he has power but doesn't know how to properly use it and is walking down the road with the new friends trying to find the family that he has lost I'm kind of finding his way in the world along the way
I love Loki season 1 first and Agatha 2nd
That's totally fair! Loki, both seasons imo, are great!
@@MusclesAndTheMultiverse absolutely
I don't think these 'deaths' on the road are actual deaths.
Well, three of the salem seven can turn into flying animals. How come only two were saved?
Watsonian answer: because one didn't transform quick enough. Doylist answer: because by the end there will probably be only Billy & Agatha left so they only need 2 of the 7 to face them.
🤷♂️
Mephisto doesn’t need to crop up in this series. Rio/Death is enough.
I think they've been placating us just by saying his name with no grand plans to actually bring him in right now.
not a single word you say, and that word i believe is Telepathically. i need to get this off my chest. because Lilia is an old wise witch, but she uses the word telepathically instead of telekinetically. Telepathy is about the mind, and I wont post my theory here, but i think her using telepathy and not telekinetically makes a difference. this might all just be a big mind thing
I don’t think that’s Billy’s note book. It’s bigger. Billy’s book was pocket sized
Characters living life out of order has been done many times before in many other stories. Like Slaughterhouse 5 for example.
Quite true!
What if Agatha absorbs death's power and becomes the new Lady Death?
Similar to how Loki ended.
And Loki sacrificed himself
This is also true!!!!
Jen defies aging and thus death (imo)
This is a good take and a very obvious one that I didn't think of. Thanks for sharing!
i kept getting distracted as to how you're so attractive to me lol
I appreciate the kind words 😊
Jen is also over a century old: "I'm offering you a chance to finally lift the binding spell that has kept you magicless for the last... what... century?"
It's a great point about them all avoiding death!
This show isn’t the best but this episode was. WandaVision is still the best show marvel has created, nothing beats it
Youre allowed opinions. Even if youre incorrect
Not to pick a fight but yes, WandaVision (if they didn’t MCU-fied the finale) is out there with Loki.
Let's hold such judgements until this series wraps up - if they stick the landing WITHOUT resorting to a sky beam CGI fight finale, this show will take the crown.
When did we start having to say "chef's kiss" every time we DO a chef's kiss? Seems redundant.
This episode deserves the redundancy of the chef's kiss 🤌
Great video but why the “chef’s kiss”? Can you be a little less cliche, is it a reach to expect something a bit more authentic from you? Furthermore have you ever even seen an actual chef do anything even remotely as basic as that? Come on now. #dobetter
Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I mean, I guess I could be a little less cliche but clearly, I was really feeling the chef's kiss the day I recorded. And I'm pretty sure I've seen the Swedish Chef do a chef's kiss
