Wow, a boat/ combo for smart people. Probably won't sell too many in Florida.

They’ve had good demand thus far, I hope to continue to see them do well. I agree it’s a smart setup!

I have been watching COX & OXE for the past 5 years slowly making a foothold in th USA. Now we'll get to know the performance numbers properly.
Since diesel is more expensive in certain places, to me, is why these motors are unpopular. I would love to own one in the caribbean but the price of one COX is what we will pay pay for a fully built panga and a small 4 stroke motor between 75 to 115 hp. Does anyone consider that most commercial fishermen does not have ac ess to the type of lending in the USA? Anyway, sweet engines and boat. Keep up the good reviews😊

Those are all great questions! It’ll be interesting to see how the company addresses them moving forward. Thank you man! I appreciate that! Thanks for watching🤙🏻😎

how much weight does the diesels add to the transom compared to an equivalent gas outboard? And what is the maintenance cycle for the diesels?

4 engines aren’t for bragging rights - pop one 125 nm with $10k of commercial catch aboard off shore in 6-8s and find out… long way home -loaded- at 6 kts

I don’t disagree with you, there is a security factor to it. However in the video you can see even on one engine the Hammer Cat went 23MPH still getting 1MPG. Obviously loaded wouldn’t be as quick or efficient, but what’s attractive to their base is the lower carrying cost with having less engines. I appreciate your comment man!🤙🏻

Ive been watching hammer and cox for a lil while now. I would be interested in seeing the motors over propped and quads on a larger boat. Any gear changes available?

This was the first boat I’ve ever seen with the 350s from Cox, I know they have an invincible with trips on their Instagram, but those are the 300s and it’s just a 15 second video. I’ll definitely keep my eye out in the future to see if I can video a quad diesel boat if I can find one!🤙🏻

You need to invest in a better microphone for doing boat reviews on the open water at speed into the wind. Nice boat and the diesel engines are more efficient but we already know that. Diesel engines usually have more torque down lower in the r.p.m. range too. I’m guessing the cost for those Cox engines is more than the equivalent gasoline fueled engines. I didn’t watch to the very end because of the annoying noise.

It was an impromptu sea trial at the show, I had to make do with what I had but mics optimized for it are in the works! I appreciate the comment.

The wind is definitely a constant battle on sea trials, I try to keep the footage as authentic as possible. I appreciate the comment🤙🏻
