That looks like a huge amount of fun!! Bizarre lack of drama at 45+ knots, which is a serious compliment to the hull and design. Only your reactions give it away Hugo! Great review.
Yes it’s fun ! It’s a very sharp hull, runs very stable at high speeds with minimum drag and in the rough the central trim tab is genius to assist the side trim tabs and help put bow pressure down. . Thank you for the tour of a great boat. Much like the US Pacific NW style aluminum boats (Duckworth, Wooldridge, North River), I love the Scandinavian utility with touches of comfort.
Thank you for sharing. Great looking boat, with lots of interesting touches. Aluminum is required for the rocky shores of Minnesota's rivers and 10,000 lakes. We're accustomed to Wooldridge, Duckworth, and Kingfisher utilitarian boats, having sink, stove/heater, head, and a couple of berths

Hate to nitpick, but just to give it a bit of the old know it all: this is most certainly moose leather (moose are called elk/Elch in Swedish and German, while elk are called wapiti deer. Fantastic, sturdy boat.
Lovely boat, but I don't like the "ice cream scoop" front for rough water (offshore). That's great for allowing a ton of water into the boat when you hit a wave.
I would love to have this boat my only thing is I would extend the back a little bit more so I can have a fishing platform and have more room outside that beautiful cabin
The fuel consumption in Liters/hr. You had said 25 kts @45 liters/hr. Is that total combined per per engine? Also, in the beginning of the video, that manual bilge pump access panel was totally blocked by the aft anchor line. That was surprising to see. You would have to release tension to the anchor, in order to get that panel open....
At 28 knots she does 2.8 ltr per nautical mile, total (twin 450R’s) ie 1.4 each engine. The hatch behind the anchor rope is the location for the water fuel separator so shouldn’t really need access apart from service intervals and high tension can be easily released off the stern anchor windlass for this. You can still actually get your hand in to drain the filter quickly if necessary. On newer boats they’ve moved the roller forward to eliminate the issue. I think was C10 hull number 4. The manual bilge is to the right (aft) of this flap. There are auto bilges within the hull compartments and switches to operate these manually too at the helm. Well spotted though !

What’s the market for this boat? I’m guessing law enforcement. All of the missing pleasure craft features (head, galley, staterooms) aren’t needed for a patrol boat.
Originally designed for the Swedish archipelago and people who'll want to commute from the the city center to an island and maybe a summer home. Trips are rarely longer than 1h at the speeds this boat is capable of. The smaller Viggo C8 is more than enough for most people but if you can afford the C10.. why not.
Probably because that would add weight and Viggo is focused on performance. That's how I see it, at least. Although I would love this boat with a cabin. Could go around Europe in less than a week 😆
I'm a little surprised that a vessel designed to go as fast as that and into heavy chop, where the real excitement and versatility can be explored, does come provided with seat belts. If it were to get airborne and hit a cross-wave at 50 mph, that would be like hitting an Armco barrier in a car and you'd be thrown clean out of your seat...
All their boats are custom made to the spec requested by the customer, they are known to be very flexible when building you a boat. The customer who ordered this boat did simply not spec for seatbelts.
Don’t they have logs and other stuff floating around, does the boat have a levitation button, if not perhaps they can invent one, no head for us old guys would mean we’re wearing diapers for such an exciting drive.

That is a back breaking seating position if you catch a big wave at 40+ knots. I like the concept, but dear god the designer must have had an apprenticeship as a welder and he/she was determined to showcase those hard won talents. Good review but utter waste of time for an enjoyable day out. Not even a toilet. About seven different controls for the trim tabs. What a load of nonsense. £450k….ridiculous.
You’ve clearly missed the point. You’ve clearly never driven a boat like this at high speed in rough water which is what it’s designed to do. It does what its deigned to do it better than anything else out there, i own one. If i wanted more beds, cookers, sunpads I wouldn’t have looked at this boat.
Looks like a knockoff of the American made "Lifeproof Boats" brand of boats. Except lifeproof boats are unsinkable and capable of 60mph ruclips.net/video/KT1AK4ihTts/видео.htmlsi=7RhiRevppGAezf5m
You can have a heads if you want . Of course there are other boats that are designed for more accommodation, sitting around sunbathing etc etc . They can’t do what this boat is designed to do though . Each to their own. I own one. I if i wanted an Axopar type boat i would have bought one. It all depends what you want to use the boat for.
What is the point of this boat? Not enough room to fish from the stern and can’t fish off the bow. The bow is weirdly laid out to party cruise. It has nothing for the day boat crowd. Cost isn’t even the issue…… Who is in the market for this pointless thing? A few billionaires in Alaska and Denmark who want a race boat in the winter ?
Obviously not designed for ON THE BOAT recreation for bigger groups, but for getting half a dozen peeps or so to & from places where you do want to spend your time . And doing it safely and relatively quickly in all sea states/weather. Island groups/archipelagoes, more secluded wild coastal anchorages, more isolated port towns, for beach-bumming, free diving, hikes, river fishing, etc. In other words, thousands of sq. miles of cruising grounds around the world. I'm sure you could spec one with bait wells, outriggers, rocket launchers, mini galley, bbq, etc, to make it more of a weekender. Having near-concussed myself multiple times in tiny heads compartments, I'm all about that tented deal, though....lol....

@@hugoandreae3785 was going to say lol that's the same as my 4.2 QSD 320hp 😁
Good review but utter waste of time for an enjoyable day out.
Not even a toilet.
About seven different controls for the trim tabs.
What a load of nonsense.
£450k….ridiculous.
It does have a toilet. It pops out in the bow area and is surrounded by a tent like structure for privacy
Completely agree, no toilet is ridiculous.
See it as a commuter car for coastal regions, not as a RV
This is a customers boat. He didn’t want a toilet so there isn’t one fitted. Simple .
Vorreiter mit einer Solaranlage....
Kein Spruch zu dämlich.
half a million quid and no loo, sorry but anyone over the age of 30 will a proper loo.
The owner of this boat didn’t want one. They re bespoke boats. As Hugo said you can have a loo.
@@sib610 little fold out tent doesn't count especially considering I'm willing to be it can't be used at 40+ knots
Have you ever used a head at 40 knots?!
@@charley9986 I have at 32 it's interesting but when you gotta pee you gotta pee
Looks like a knockoff of the American made "Lifeproof Boats" brand of boats.
Except lifeproof boats are unsinkable and capable of 60mph

Such a bulky ugly uncosy boat.
Poorly designed and with no heads who wants to spend £450k on that. Much better alternatives for the money.
What a waste
Wow 😮
There's a stark difference between the 'luxury' of a toilet and soiling yourself though
