Gboard is is definitely better for me. You can also long press the top button and say "set at timer for 5 minutes" also better than the timer complication in my opinion.

I would argue that setting display to grayscale only increases the battery consumption, because for white light all the pixels in the area must be on, while for a specific color only pixels producing that color are on.
A more realistic use case for grayscale is maybe better contrast in certain situations.
Exactly. It will definitely not save you any battery. This is an accessibility feature for a reason. It's for people having hard time seeing some of the colors.

Yes it can control video recording as well. Once you open the app, swipe up or down to change to video mode.

Few questions:
1) All features will work with Non Samsung phones like OnePlus?
2) Can we connect any brand's Bluetooth earbuds/headphones with this watch - if yes than
can we pick a call from watch and talked via earbuds which is connected to watch ?

Not all features will work... There are a few that are specific to samsung.
Most earphones will connect to the watch directly. As long as they are recent.
You can pick up calls on earbuds connected to watch if you're watch is LTE. Else, you'll need a phone to receive calls in the first place and if you have a phone, then why connect buds to the watch.
I've talked about the battery life in the video.
By the way, most of the tips shown work on previous versions of Samsung galaxy watches 😎

With the camera feature you can basically turn your phone Into a spy camera you can spy on someone while your in different room

With an LTE watch can you stream music to ear buds while say walking while the phone is at home. ?
I have searched and all I can find is info about downloading music for offline BT usage.

I like my watch 4 classic but it started freezing up at times and screen is not responding when I tap on something ima gonna have to exchange it for another one. Only had it 3 days smh. I rebooted it and also did the software update I'm disappointed

AW7 would be better but would cost a lot more than GW4. WearOS still cannot compete with AW OS. If you use Telegram then you will be dissappointed that Telegram has dropped support for WearOS for now.

@@DarrylBass I have not used any watch OS. My comments are based on my research over the years. I have pre-ordered GW4 only because of WearOS 3 because it allows manufacturers to add in their modifications over the base OS. Samsung has the most experience with creating smart watches among all android device manufacturers and I don't like the closed ecosystem of apple devices so GW4 was an obvious choice. Apple has better apps, better dev support on all their OS platforms. Apple Watch OS is also more mature. Choice is very simple - if you have an iPhone then go for Apple Watch else for now GW4 is best.
I haven't heard of overheating on an apple watch but their are already complaints about overheating on LTE GW4. This should give you an idea about the product maturity and stability.

You don't know that the apple watch has better apps because you don't know how many apps are abattoir l available for each platform and you don't know what kind of apps there are. Say to just say Apple has sometime better without knowing what or how makes no sense to me.
You also claim that Apple watch devs offer better support but what facts do you have to back up that claim? How many devs have you interviewed before you came to this conclusion? There are literally thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of developers so there is NO WAY you can claim iOS developers offer better support than Android developers--many of whom are the same persons.
You claim watch OS is more mature, explain to me how? Give me specific examples

Yeah, customisation is good term.
This term actually comes from mechanical watches. There complication is called every additional feature apart time showing.

@@abhijeetraikwar2771 If you plan on ever leaving your house without your phone, get the LTE. If not, save a few bucks and get BT instead. BT version gives you more battery life per charge.

I have someone coming from US. They are getting unlocked LTE version for me. Will e-sim work here in India if I have jio number??? I don't want to waste my money. And in case, if e-sim doesn't work, can I still use it as a bluetooth version with switching on Bluetooth to make/receive calls???

Looking forward to receiving my GW4. I preordered on 8/13, and the estimated receipt date was 9/17 per Samsung. Now they have updated the receipt date to 10/13. Curious if they got more orders than expected or if this is part of the shipping and supply chain issues everyone is experiencing?

I have the Galaxy Watch Active 2 right now and I'm somewhat interested in this watch. Is this worth the upgrade? I'm in Ireland we don't have SamungPay or GPay for smartwatch just yet but hoping it comes soon. GPay, according to some users was reactivated for a short amount of time here so I'm guessing it's arriving soon. Does this watch support GooglePay? I would like to use either GPay or SamsungPay as I'm not sure which will come first. I use my current watch on a daily basis from around 10am to wear it all night long to track sleep. I would like more of an accurate sleep tracking. Throughout the day, I let it track my steps and my heart rate automatically as I work in hospitality.
Please let me know if this is worth it or should I wait or if I should look into another smartwatch which will get the new OS. I have a Samsung phone if that helps since I think samsung devices work well together.
If you're happy with your watch, there's no need to upgrade because the watch 2 is tracking your sleep, steps and heart rate already. If and when payment apps are available in your country, that's when you can think of getting the watch 4. But think hard, just because you want the fun of paying through a watch, would it be worth spending all that money? If you've got loads of it, go for it 😄

Yeah..do you need very accurate reporting for sleep, heart rate and step tracking? I mean... For that, Garmin would be a wiser choice. If you just want indicative data, then what you have is good.

I have the galaxy watch 4, still learning how to use all the functions. But I do want to see a map of where I have walked, using the steps function and GPS, but cannot find it anywhere. I have been into a Samsung shop, and they said the watch doesn't do that and need to download a separate app. Surely not ? All watches have this
If you track walking (not auto) it should show a map of where you've been in the Samsung health app, go to exercise history and click the desired walking exercise and the map will be there.
All the features I have on my watch active 2.infact look wise active 2 is much better
True, at least samsung is saving me money as I will just keep using my active 2 . I will wait until the battery dies before I upgrade or a feature like blood glucose monitoring becomes approved by FDA on a galaxy watch

My 4 Classic doesn't have the "sync DND with phone" option under Notifications. :(

The most awesome thing about it is the activation process. It will give you pain in the ass if you use other non-samsung android phone. Almost impossible to activate it and about to return it. They should have an option that users could activate it using PC/MAC.
Pity that you can't use Samsung Bluetooth headphones(connected to the watch) for calls while watch is connected to the phone via Bluetooth.

No
My huawei GT2 pro has already covered all of these. Except voice assistant and text writing.
Would never use Huawei phones or smarphones as they harvest data for CCP. There is already security concerns raised in European countries regarding Huawei and other chinese smartphones and accessories.
Best to avoid chinese brands and go with other brands like samsung, garmin, fitbit or apple smartwatches
