In this video I am unboxing the Sony A7 IV. This is a camera that I have been wanting to get for the past year and a half and I finally decided that there was no better time then now to get it. I am so unbelievably excited to start using this camera and see what I get to capture with it!

I got mine on MAY this year. I recently bought a Viltrox 85mm 1.8 , which is one of the cheap & good prime lense. Not sure if the Viltrox brand is available in your location but do buy low aperture lense. I had bought the camera with the same Kit lens but the this prime lense which I got changed my perception about the camera.
Yes I definitely need to look into getting a new lens!! How do you like the camera so far?

Congrats on the camera! I plan on getting this or waiting for the A7V when it comes out but I’m afraid the V will be more expensive. I just love the A7IVs camera body it’s so chonky but looks amazing.

I know full frame cameras tend to be heavier, do you feel the weight on your new camera? I do photography most of the time when im hiking and I was wondering if that camera would be too much in my backpack :o
Tbh it’s definitely heavier than my previous camera which was the canon m50 but I haven’t taken it hiking yet so I’m not sure how heavy it is to bring around. But I think it would totally be worth it because it’s a great camera!!
Great purchase. I’d recommend you to purchase a better lens though instead of the kit lens. This camera is so good and you can’t get much from the kit lens. For vlogs, here are my few recommendations:
1. Sony 16-35mm f4 pz
2. Tamron 20-40mm f2.8
3. Tamron 17-28mm f2.8
4. Sigma 16-28mm f2.8
Depending on your budget and preferred focal range you can buy either one of those lens. And later you could pair it with a prime lens of your preferred focal length like 35mm or 50mm.

Sony 20mm f1.8 is the best!
I'm currently trying to decide if I should keep my A6400, switch to the AC7 or buy the new A6700. It's a relatively difficult decision. I currently have 2 full frame lenses and 2 APS-C lenses. Actually I would like to have a full frame, but I don't think I want to spend that much money. What do you think about this?

Thanks!! I don’t have much knowledge on the A7C so I can’t really comment on that one. But I would recommend upgrading from the A6400 to the A6700 if you think the upgrades are significant enough to where it would make sense for you to upgrade. I believe the A6700 has a much better autofocus which for me would be a great reason to upgrade. It can also shoot 4k 120fps if that’s important to you and the battery also lasts longer on the A6700. If I was in your shoes I would upgrade but definitely depends on what your using your camera for and what your looking for in a camera!
