- I would like to share with you an inspiring story of Amber who was able to purchase her own home in Northern California with CASH through the practice of frugality and minimalism. Amber changed outlook on her finance when she had a hard time paying for her dog's medical bills. She started to adopt her own way of minimalism and started to increase her income through posting RUclips videos about her minimalism journey. By living below her means, working hard, and being intentional with her spending, Amber was finally able to save enough money to purchase a small home in Northern California.

Prepper princess is really living the prepper dream. She has a non-smart car , paid off with tinted windows and an ebike, a dog, solar panels, and fruit trees. That sounds like freedom to me!!
Sounds like a comfortable and happy life. She's found the secret.

Love this! This is “real minimalism” in my eyes. So many people go out and spend money on the “minimalist esthetic” and call it minimalism. I love that her home is minimal with select family heirlooms.
Yes, and I really liked the "ugly" lamp in the closet. Some of those old pieces are worth lots of money.
Like Amber, everything in my minimalist home has a personal story. I want to look at my few items and think what I did and who was with me, not trying to outdo the Joneses. I like to be me, let the Joneses be themselves.

I follow Amber on her YT. I think her advice is sound and very similar to the way I was raised. The lessons I learned from them is: live a simple life, be a good steward of what you own, don’t buy on credit, drive your car until it cost more to repair than it is to replace, pay off your home early, learn how to clean and repair your possessions, live an honest life, Be grateful.

That's true, I can't imagine the profits people are making daily by just trading crypto.
She's obviously the best, Luna successful stories are everywhere. She saved me from a huge amount of debt and liberated me financially. I can't stop appreciating the woman who introduced me to her.
You're right Grace, anxiety has made most people remain poor and skip to invest especially in coins. She made it easier even when I thought it was difficult.
Investing in crypto and stock market is a good idea, a good trading system would put you through many days of success.
As a beginner trade only with the best account manager, she has helped me and my family to start up a business through her investment profit. All good investors are familiar with her, you should stick to her instructions you excel.
My husband and I also don’t do debt. We paid off our first two mortgages and then bought a third plot of land in cash. We’re in our Forties and are debt and mortgage free and it’s such an amazing feeling! Now we’re working on our savings for an early semi retirement in our mid/late Fifties.

@Gaya Zeit We're very conscious how we spend our money and do everything ourselves including building our house. And we don't want many material things and have old cars

It's always nice to have everything you want out of life. She's happy. It's about expectations and the ability to enjoy what you have, instead of pining for what you don't.
I adore Prepper Princess! I have watched her for years and applied her principles and I’m now debt free. I wish I would have known her decades ago so I could have been a better manager of my finances. She is smart, funny, and caring. I suspect we are opposites about politics, but that doesn’t matter because she is so great!
Don't lump all Californians together regrading politics. Don't generalize. And, who cares about someone's politics anyway?

You've actually under-represented her accomplishments, but she is very modest and probably avoided reviewing the laundry list of achievements that could be added to your introductory description of her. Prepper Princess is one of my favorite RUclipsrs! I’ve been following her for years. She is phenomenal. I also have her book - highly recommend. This interview was well done. It showcased her financial and minimalist philosophies, as well as her compassion for animals.

My Grandparents were from an Indian Reservation. Raised very frugal. I love being a minimalist. Hitting a thrift store today.

I happen to find this channel and already follow the other. Working my way of out of debt. Paid off three credit cards working on the 4th. I figure another year and half of working the side gig to be debt free except for the mortgage. Then I will get rid of the cards except for one. Although no one would ever call me a minimalist, lol, I do a lot of the same things she does. All my life I’ve lived on a budget, no matter how much money I made. Saved, did things myself, bought a house, and am debt free also. No car payments , work remotely so no wear and tear on my car, etc. and love animals too. And give back. It’s just stuff, and it doesn’t really matter. Living well is better. And living Happy. Prepper is an inspiration to all.✌️👏🏻

My house was built in 1920. His dad's house just needs cleaned (my job), then it's going to market. We have to finish our house and sell it. We have a fixer upper we found. I've been weeding out so much stuff. Becoming a minimalist is making my life so much easier. The house looks amazing! Ive been following Prepper Princess for a couple years now. I cried when my 1998 Camry got an oil leak that was going to cost more than the car was worth to repair. I LOVED that car.

I use to have the same exact Camry, color and year. Damn that car was awesome 👏🏽 never broke down my brother ended up selling it when it was coming close to 300k miles. I regret getting rid of it honestly 🥺

Lovely home, my mum has a nice cosy home , bright and colourful with things she’s had for years and she’s very frugal. Strange as I’m getting older I’m liking vintage things from childhood in the 60s, things my Nan had. Got a nice fruit bowl on Etsy that at one time you could find in a charity shop in the U.K. for next to nothing

Great interview, your a good example to the rest of us trying to be frugal.
Part of what wasn't included that should have been was that she inherited an almost paid-off home in southern California which was sold and she received a substantial portion of the proceeds. She lived in that house for quite a few years with minimal expenses because it was a family home - not something necessarily attainable in that area by her peers. She definitely is frugal, lives well within her means and is an asset to the financial community on youtube but it's misleading to assert she saved everything from scratch. If she didn't have access to that home (and its subsequent proceeds) her story would probably be quite a bit different.
I don't think her story would have been different. Maybe just took a bit longer to accomplish.

You have a beautiful home. Your family is very lucky to have you close. House is built 1915 My house is finish in 1927 my grandfather and the great grandfather built it. First they built a barn for the live stock and sleep in it until the house was finished. The other family members slept in the old house. I never heard my grandfather or grandmother complaining about anything. People was much tougher and happier back then…

I have followed Prepper Princess a long time when she was living in Berkeley. She is genuine and has a good heart! Thank you for featuring her. I love her new house- she made it pretty. I don’t like clutter either, but my kids moving back home added to the clutter!
Lol- no drinking or smoking- never did- lol didn’t think from a frugal angle but I guess it is. I’m very frugal too- watching frugal channels or reading frugal books( I have her book, too) even though I have been frugal so long I could probably write one too and know all the ins and outs, but that is my enjoyment!

Hi Prepper Princess you have a lovely home. My late parents is pretty old built in the early ‘50’s took I still old popcorn ceiling can’t do much about it. I hardly use my kitchen dining room. I like your wooden plaque quote Girls just wanna have funds. I hope to sell a few antiques. Very pretty guest room. I like vintage furniture. That was a nice tour of your entire home. I trying my best to be a minimalist. It’s hard unless I declutter old knick knacks. Not sure if want to keep my old school yearbooks. Stay well and safe 👍💖

I would totally use that empty little room that has the stuff you’re giving your brother to put up either that workout mirror from Tonal, the Lululemon Studio one, or both, if they’d both fit. Could be a good use of the space, if there’s enough space in the room itself for that! :)
I love it…especially the house. I’m a minimalist myself and it’s the best thing ever. Working on paying off my mortgage now within the next two years and it’ll get done before my 50th birthday Gods willing. I’m so excited.
I used to say I was a minimalist for 10+ yrs but in last few yrs saw how much we/humanity are/have fed our own division in part thru labels. Now I see it as just living when/as I can with more intent and simply. Maybe we’ll evolve and driven by cooperation, creativity and acceptance of diff vs competition, dominance, and value based on status, labels or money/consumerism. Peace and health.
