The entire album Rust In Peace is an instant classic. Every song is outstanding! I saw Megadeth play this album live from first to last song. Awesome!!!
Oh man I’m jealous of that! I’ve got tickets to see them for the first time this September (was supposed to be a year or so ago but COVID and Daves throat cancer pushed it to this year).
I love thrash metal period and started listening to a few other bands before Megadeth. When I finally got around to them I was around 15 years old. Their sound just about blew my damned head off. They pretty much mopped the floor with everything else I was listening to at the time. And they can still pull it off to this day...
Oh yeah, this song is so so so good. You should do a lot more songs off this album! There’s not a single bad song on here, they’re all crazy good. Just a seriously badass record You should do Lucretia or Take No Prisoners or Poison Was the Cure off this album next

There is a reason why this album is widely considered the best "Thrash Metal" album of all time. You need to do the whole thing....it's a masterpiece from beginning to end.

Rust in Peace is a modern masterpiece (I say modern relatively...) That being said, Megadeths Magnum Opus is "In My Darkest Hour" in my opinion. Its about where Dave Mustaine was mentally after Cliff Burton from Metallica died.
Rust in peace is my favourite album of all time. It’s a magical audio masterpiece from start to finish and it’s up against some pretty good competition including songs in the key of life and sgt pepper
One of the hardest albums to learn for a guitar player, rhythm and lead. I've been obsessed with Megadeth for years and playing their stuff for years, but I still can't get through some of these songs without wanting to pass out afterwards. The technical ability is far above the standard of what most metal bands put out. Don't forget that Dave Mustaine is playing all those insane riffs while singing!

This is why Jamel has almost 800K subscribers.. You know metal is not his wheelhouse, but he respects it and can find it entertaining by analying the lyrics. I've listened to quite a bit of Megadeath and I'll be honest most of the time I don't have a clue what Mustain is saying. It's nice to have someone break down the lyrics.

I listened to this album a lot in my teens when it came out. I still love it but went a while without a listen. Listening to it again recently, Lucretia is probably my favourite track, but wouldn't have made my top 4 back then! One of the great metal albums of all time!
