And it’s probably my favorite song on the album too (though they’re all literally a work of art so my favorite changes depending on the mood I’m in)
This song is mystically bananas. Everything about this song is perfect.

Great song and the solo builds to the outro are genius. When you know how the song ends you hear it coming and it is pure art.

Nice to see someone else appreciate the choice to solo over the syncopated part. I always took it to be Dave was showing off a little by soloing over the syncopated part
Wasn't that Marty Friedman soloing during that part though ? I believe Dave's solo is the one ending the song.
@@Lamren You got me. The answer is I'm not sure. It kinda makes more sense to gave Dave playing the syncopated part rather than to solo over it. Perhaps someone can find out for us?
@@chief999 It's Marty soloing with Dave playing rhythm. All solos except the last one are played by Marty here

from the difficulty they're about the same but the hardest megadeth solo is daves last solo

WOW indeed! Everyone bangs on about the solo in Tornado of Souls (and rightly so... it's the greatest guitar solo of all time), but Marty's fifth solo on this track is out of this world. I've never heard anything like it.
