But they are not just remastered, they are actually remixed also. I'm not a fan of Mustaine's remixing.
@@keyserfunk Some use alternate takes of the guitars and vocals. Makes them all just sound wrong when you're used to the originals.
The remastered of rust is one of that wrong decissions

As a life long Megadeth fan. What always cracks me up is folks run back to the same old albums, which don't get me wrong, they are all awesome. But you are only scratching the surface of the genius that is Megadeth. There are masterpieces in almost every album. Every one of their albums has been my favorite at one time or another. So much crazy awesome shit! People will be waking up to their awesomeness 20 yrs from now. Stuff that was done almost 35 yrs ago will still hold it's own.
Nah, Rust in Peace is way ahead of anything Megadeth has ever released. It's on a league of it's own.

The guy in the middles face by the end is the reaction I expect from this underrated beast of a song. Only song on RiP that beats it for me is Lucretia.
Five magics is a masterpiece
No two guitar players will sound the same, even through the same equipment. There's countless stories of professional guitarists trying to play through someone else's equipment to see if they can get the same sound, and they never do. Steve Vai, one of the most skilled players I've ever heard, has a story about how Eddie Van Halen (perhaps the most influential in the past 50 years) played through Vai's equipment, and it sounded like Eddie. Vai then picked up the guitar and it sounded like himself.
You can copy sounds, to an extent, but you never can really get it just right.
Oh, and Megadeth kicks ass :)

megadeth is my favorite band and ive listened to five magics a lot recently, but i always listen to the original; its just better and once you hear the original enough you can hear that the original and remaster are very different. its still good though
If you listen closely, you can hear the difference between Dave’s solos & Marty’s. The tonal quality you hear comes from the pickups & amplifiers,strings are minimal in sound but they scream out in playability. Great fuckin reaction guys. Keep up the good job 😈
The most underrated Megadeth song... the riffs and all the solos are truly incredible. BTW... it's Dave Ellefson who does the evil singing.
I've never seen a 502 reaction where Ty and Ryan were so talkative and animated--together!--before, and where Nick seemed so dazed and quietly overwhelmed...despite the fact he'd heard the song before. 🤣 (It's truly understandable, though; this "magic" could raise the dead.)

Hey five magics was a great reaction video.... Hey I just want to say one of the guys asked about if guitars sound different in different songs..... Yes they do. Metallica when they hit the Black album decided to use ESP guitars. Megadeth decided to stick with the Jackson guitars. I think he's still plays Jackson's I think that's just his favorite thing Metallica likes Gibson so they always had the flying v like crazy.

I saw Megadeth live in the early 2000s in Birmingham, England. They played so loud and so fast that at one point the crowd shouted, in unison, "Metallica? Who the fuck are Metallica?"
They are the best technicians on trash metal and this is the best album of metal all Time
So to answer your question about sounds of guitars, strings are a big factor yes. Also there are so many different effect pedals out there that can give you all sorts of distortion types. Length of guitar neck as well.
Although you could probably pick up a cheap $100 electric guitar, get the right pedals, and you could get pretty close to the Megadeth sound.

Re: Guitars. All guitars are different... from the electronics (especially the pick-ups), the strings and even the wood their made from... then we haven't even got to the pedals or the amps or even the intricacies of the playing style! Marty has a very unusual picking action.
All the solos except the last one is by M Friedman. Mustaine only does the last solo.

There are many reasons why guitars sound different from each other, but it's mostly the settings on the amp, pedals and stuff, and the type of pickups the guitar has.... Afaik
The remaster is messed up over the original because of the drum engineering
Martys solos are more dull, warmer sound to it. Mustaines has more sharp sound to it. So his solos will have a screech sound to it, also has to do with pick thickness and how aggressive he is with it

Oh nooooo.. not the 2004 remaster!! Sorry guys...ugh.. this is the one where dave went and rerecorded the vocals cause they lost the 1990 vocal track. You should do this again with the original cause this sucks a chimp.
He didn't rerecord vocals, they used alternate takes from the original recordings.

Good Morning Black Friday, Lucretia are great. You can see the band is great so why not start from the beginning. No reaction crew has ever done that. You guys seem to jump around and will never experience the growth of a band. Crazy. Have any of you people followed a band from its beginning.

Nice reaction, but you guys reacted to the wrong version of this song, this is the 2004 remaster, which is horrible and has re-recorded vocals. You need to listen to the original 1990 version, it's way better.
