The "Building MLG Lux DOUBLE Shipping Container Home Step by Step DIY - TimeLapse" is an inspiring project that transforms two shipping containers into a modern, luxurious home through a combination of resourcefulness, creativity, and DIY craftsmanship. This time-lapse video documents each stage of construction, from the initial design to the finishing touches, showcasing the adaptability and sustainability of using shipping containers in homebuilding.
Well done! Love it! Only the glass balcony I would hate. Why do they want to see the street from their bed? Or why would they want to be seen by all the cars? What a potential place up there for reading a book, watching the stars or stepping out half naked after the shower. Probably soon they will put some plants up there.
I love this amazing project but everything about this project defeats the purpose of a container home. Nothing about this is economical/ecological but its stunning alright.
you have the steel frames already put up, why not continue on with the rest for the second floor? it'll probably cost about the same or could be even less and also less cutting.
I hope its just a showroom and no one will ever live in it. House with non breathable walls should have forces air circulation or mold will be created inevitably, sandwiched between inner poly vapor barrier and steel outer shell. Far superior insulation is mounted outside so steel shell is a vapor barrier. Another issue is design of a structure which is completely out of local scene - if built somewhere in more industrial area or standing alone at the top of hill, it would be much more acceptibile.
Do you save any significant money? Block is cheap and the container + crane @ cutting torches ect can't save too much. I dig it for sure just not sure if someone builds to save money.
I don't know where you are coming from, but in Serbia, it is about 40 percent less cost for building like this then block it...contractors are too expensive...
Hi, what are the dimensions of the deck? 40 x ? Also, is the entire structure supported by 4 vertical beams and the ring beam without bending? What size beams are those?
hi. I have a question. You installed 2 containers on the second floor, and the length was 12 meters, but the containers did not sag at that distance? you don't have supports in the middle at the bottom. It turns out that the entire length of the container can be installed on the second floor without lower beams and it will not bend? Thank you
Hello, How much does project like this cost to make ? of course without the land! You can write the price in Euro ,I live in central Europe so the prices may be similar. Thanks
@@mlgkontejneri3283 thanks for telling me, I wish the video would have shown it but i still loved the look of the house it is an amazing video and diy house.
in Serbia, human work is very expensive as is the material.... America is different from europe... this is cheaper around 40% from regular buildings...
Local Regs may not allow permanent structures, or the specific wording may not allow structures to be fixed to the ground. Shipping container buildings would be a way around these strictures.
I wouldn't call this a container home since you basically built most of it from the ground up. Cement slab, metal posts, wooden frames etc. The containers are just placed on top. So its just half a container home, half actual home.
well, basically only the upper floor is containers, and everything is standing on pillars, it is supposed to be only the upper floor , then we just add everything down...
@@mlgkontejneri3283 dont get me wrong it looks great. And sorry i wrote my comment at the beginning of the video and didn't have a chance to come back and edit it. But i didn't mean anything negative about it
@@noahtyson7983 oh i love container homes. They come in various ways of constructions. Some are just places straight on cement slabs or placed on top of small posts. Or in this case they built out a lower floor for the container to be a top floor. They all look great
All, and I mean all of this channels that run these videos in super fast mode are NOT enjoyable to watch. As soon as I come across these videos I immediately turn them off.
I’m not opposed to videos being increased where there is repetitiveness but not the entire video. Where there is repetition show a couple of examples of how’s it’s done then edit and move on to something else. I can assure you there are many examples of building videos out there that show the same things you do with out the entire video being sped up. Hey not to take away from your talent but to me, my opinion only, it’s not enjoyable to watch.
I love this. I just got my container from Wuwi Shipping Container very cheap and even paid it upon delivery. cant wait to start working
Das ist eine gute Idee. Unten eine Art Keller und die Container oben drauf. Super !
"Awesome". ❤❤❤ with Angel Blessings From Canada, You are ALL Hired !!!!
Love it , good job guys 👍❤
Thank you so much 😀
I really like this building
That music is incredible! So varied! Is it Hans Zimmer?
John Carpenter actually :D

Nice 👍
Heavily inspired by the house Patrick Bradley built... CTRL+C, CTRL+V type inspiration.
So, is it an office or home? It has a great conference table and galley, but no bedroom or bath? It is awesome, regardless.
it is the home kitchen for our parties, and the upstairs is not defined yet...
great work👍👍

Very very nice house and build I bet the neighbours were thinking wtf is this but hey it came out nice .

This project is called "I have no problem with money".
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....
exactly.....
I love that, can I have the plan
hello...it's made out of plans....
DIY container home with lots of help, Money, amd a metal frame.
well...metal frame is base for shipping containers..
without money You can make nothing...
and because.of time there were 4 persones....
Seems to be as cozy as an operating room.

it has recuperation...so don't worry...
Good as I fail to see it in a video, I think I saw natural gas furnace and fancoil at the end.

Claro que es ahorro imagínate comprar una casa y pagarla con el banco por 30 años o más, pagando intereses altísimos. tú dime si es ahorro o no?

I can't see anything, are you trying to show the process? I just see people running around infant motion.
well...it lasts about 4 months everything
4:50 видно что конструкция сильно гуляет, особенно когда ветер подул
4:50 it is clear that the structure moves a lot, especially when the wind blows
???
@mlgkontejneri3283 take a look closer, neither its just a timelapse effect
Whats the thing that's holding down in the middle weight of the 2 container up there? It didn't bend in the middle down there?
hello...no, it doesn't bend because of pilars up stairs...from left to right...two pilars...so upstairs hold down base...
Menghabiskan berapa banyak uang untuk membeli container sebanyak 2 unit, dan total pembangunan menghabiskan kan brapa dolar
Nice video!

yes, exactly...but You cannot cut the interior completely to the main lower and upper beam...need to leave about 12 cm material to hold bending...
Thanks 😊
The thing I don't get is how they made all these without drinking "Sarı kula"...
🤣😂🤣😂
