When you concider that you could buy a couple acres and build this for a total of less than the cost of a dump in a bad neighborhood. It would be less than half what typical rent of a crappy apartment somewhere too.
This is wonderful! Unique, forest-y colour, & the home is small yet seems spacious. Love those retractable features like the shower curtain, the window-cover in the living room that doubles as a projector screen, the sliding, hidden bathroom door, & bedroom divider. Genius solutions for this space! Love also that incinerating toilet. It's so affordable, even if hired help was needed to reconstruct the shipping container, so I'll add it to my list of dream tiny homes! Thanks for another great video & being such a good model & promoter! I'll look at their website👍
I enjoy cooking so I'd need a stovetop and oven, but for a b&b this is very nice, very well done. I'm impressed with the cool rods to work the bedroom screens and the shower curtain (very innovative). I was also so happy to see a pocket door for the bathroom. Most builders I've seen lately use barn doors, which I've never cared for (except on a barn) and am now thoroughly sick of. Thanks for the great tour.
This is a beautiful place! All of that outside area to enjoy - incredible! The host did an amazing job of making the most of the space both inside and outside. Loved seeing North Carolina again. We lived in airbnbs all year last year in NC and it’s such a beautiful place. Hope you have a great weekend Levi! Already excited for next week 😄🎉
I wonder if they could have saved even more money if they just used wood to frame it. It’s only 288sqft, about $174/sqft. Is there any advantage to using a shipping container?
Other than the coolness affect, there's no reason not to just build traditionally at this size. It is an AirBnB and people just want the experience, I guess.
Could be a personal well, rain catchment system, water delivery, water pump from local fresh water source such as a stream, river, or lake. There's also new technology, designed mostly for tiny homes, to collect the humidity in the air and convert it into a water source.
If I ever built one I'd make one design change: Kitchen on one end, then eating area, living area, walk thru bathroom, and then the bedroom. At my age I wouldn't want to walk the length of the home to pee a few times nightly (lol). Also not too crazy about a bathroom right next to the kitchen. I love the green exterior and the brightness inside.
Mr kelly i already follow ur channel , did u know a channel named "alvinsa" was using ur footage ? I know copy right theft occurs , hopeully this was authorised.
Wait a minute. Did you do math in your head and then excused your momentary pause on public school education? Ridiculous! I stopped watching right then.
Beautiful, Love the Open Space, the Windows, and its Brightness, which is Always a Plus, and not a cookie cutter! Very Creative, they did a Great Job, Thank You for Sharing, God Bless!🌞
Levi, water for showers, sink etc....did they connect to the city's drain? Wondering since they did not have to connect to the sewer line for this toilet. If I could connect the sewer to the city, I don't think I would pay 5k to burn my crap. Interesting.
I love this tiny home and want to know more about your services and prices, location in Charlotte, lease of property. I am looking to buy and live in NC by the end of the year possibly paying in full September, October. How do I contact you for more information?
LK I have a question for you. I know you’re all about the cool places to stay, and it’s plenty enjoyable to watch your videos. But I know there’s more to it than just the lovely homes you tour. You travel all over, all the time, and by now, you must have some really solid basics that you depend on all the time. I am wondering if you’d consider doing a brief series of videos about the things you pack, how you pack, and how you handle some of the common travel issues that you face repeatedly. I believe your wife travels with you, and it would be lovely to hear her perspective also, things she’s learned, things she packs for your adventures, and the things she likes/dislikes most about travel. Something like that could be really valuable for those of us who aren’t seasoned travelers like you! It would be helpful to watch, but plenty enjoyable too!
Sharp dressing, Levi. Consider modeling on the side. Quite professional & comfortable looking. Very nice home & landscape. Spacious, clean, & bright, smart shades & retracting shower curtain. Right on! Two exit/entrances. I don’t think it’s safe to have the bathroom & kitchen adjacent; & that’s a long way to the bathroom at night. Just keep the bathroom door closed when cooking. It’s a really nice place to stay. Thanks for sharing. Many blessings
This is pretty nice and the perfect general layout for containers. I think the 4 ft cutout should have been better left inside because the bathtub still ended outside of the container area. 👍
I see what is presumably an HVAC split unit on the wall, but no real mention of that system. In the heat of summer, how can one keep such a metal box tolerable without a more robust AC unit?
Wait I don’t care about how it looks I want to know how it works lol if they are not connected to city or septic how you get water for tub/shower and sit? Also power solar or city? Sorry I’m trying to build one so I like new ideas hahaha
This is a great container home. It would have been a great idea to use the area where the doors swing out as my outdoor bath instead of taking away from the interior square footage.
I absolutely really love this place and the exterior of it. I love how open it is. My suggestion is that they should've put the tub inside and the shower outside. ❤❤❤❤❤
You are doing a great job Levi! I love the color of the outside of it I don't understand why when you already have a tiny box that you would cut off part of it to make it less in length so you go from a 40 * 8 to 8 * 32 on Earth would anybody in the world do something like this when there's already less space to work with because of how small it is it'd be different if it was 10 * 40 yeah I do like the incinerator toilet I love that idea it's a good way to work around the septic tank solution or the sewer bulshit also you know I I think the kitchen's too big the counter space what do you need that much counter space I mean I guess if this is for a vacation place that's fine but in my opinion I would rather much rather have I want to see what one of these looks like where they put the kitchen along the width of the place so that the entirety of the place doesn't get sucked up by the you know kitchen so the whole Belly of the kitchen of the building doesn't get eaten Away by the kitchen who needs that much kitchen space I don't why it is that people seem to think that even when in a tiny house why do they think that it's necessary to take up the whole place with the kitchen is it because they're Americans and Americans are you know are gluttons I don't know I just don't get it I don't get the idea behind it people don't congregate usually when they come over to visit in the kitchen they do that in the living room so you cut off half of the living room space for the kitchen space and you've already ruined it I don't know maybe I just would like to see a place like this where they have maximized found in a way to maximize the living room space the bedroom space and that there's a closet giant walk-in closet I would like to see that is that possible again great job Levi you're doing a great job kid

Compared to traditional housing?
@@raulcast90 still is a little bit too much...sad to say not too many people can afford that..but of course compare to a traditional is less

The least price should be 20k$.
We stayed here back in December . 10/10 hosts . Super clean and loved the secluded feel while still being in the city !
One of the best shipping container homes you've ever featured! Love it!
I just got my 40ft container from Wuwi Shipping Container very cheap and even paid it upon delivery. cant wait to start working.
I'd love to see your progress I am doing the same in Australia
post it please
By far the best tiny home I have ever seen. Good price at less than $50k yet has so many features most tiny homes don't. Thank you for sharing.
What a gorgeous shade of green 💚 I love the style of the outside area too. Nice, clean and fresh design inside, bright and airy 😊
WOW $50000 USD for this tiny house? NOICE!
It freaks me out that the tv in the bedroom is not aligned with the dresser below :)
My ocd was like 😳🤣🤣🫣

I would definitely live in that full time! Beautiful small space!
"It burns your stuff" - that's a nice way of saying that. lol😅

I love, love, love the outdoor bathtub!🛁🧼🧖♀️
I am sure you will enjoy that outdoor bathtub in December
@@JeanHendrix-zl5hv I barefoot in winter and have done Wim Hof training so if it's used as a cold plunge, I can do that too! Thanks!
The outside is really beautiful. The wood covered porch and decks complement the green color perfectly.
Thank you for the videos they truly are amazing and you so good at reviewing the different homes 👍

Less than in the intro is the opposite way. > is greater than. < is less than… since 50k is greater than the price. The alligator mouth faces the 50k.
I love it. This design is amazing!
This must be the perfection.
Where do you hang your clothes? There is no closet or storage. I'm curious as to what burning sh-t smells like.
You would need 2-4 of these to make it actually usable
Such a beautiful place! Love it.❤
Too many neighbors for that outside bathtub. Nice though.
YEA IT IS BUDGET FRIENDLY HAVE YOU PRICED MATERIALS?
You remind me of "Mark Wahlberg"...🤔
What do you cook with, there's no stove oven or even a cook top!?

What Brand of sofa is that? Maybe Ikea?
Anyone know where to buy those fast pulldown shades? With the quick rod?

Curious about the wood divider for the bedroom. Where was that purchased? I like the look of it. 🙂
