Cricut has done it again with another update throwing us for a loop! this one from July 2022 moved a lot around including unlock, delete, and rotate. We also are seeing a lot of changes to our text boxes as well!

Two things I would love for Cricut to do is make Print and Cut bigger and for them to make a tumbler press like their mug press.
I was so frustrated with my Cricut Maker. Life happens and I haven’t used it much the last few months. When I did try and the icons in the boxes around the images were gone, I was completely lost. Hopefully, with your video, I can learn to use it again. At 82 years old, I’m not too computer savvy but I’m pretty tenacious, so fingers crossed. Thank you for all you do to help us navigate Cricut and their updates.

A simple erase feature would be nice.
Agreed make print and cut larger. Also show the font you use in a design. It is so frustrating that you can’t go back to a design and click to see the font you used.

Thank you for that information one more question I print on a iron on sheet to transfer the design to the shirt and the design transfer really light what could be wrong not getting a good transfer
Sounds like you didn’t maybe get hot enough or enough pressure or you’re using the wrong kind of transfers. I prefer to use the for darks for all my shirts as it gives a brighter color
Today I couldn’t get anything to work! I finally deleted the app and reinstalled it. Then, it worked. Every weekend something is jacked up. Frustrating!

Work small images and see how annoying is those boxes and how UNHELPFUL is the update. Cricut should have given us options to use new update or old ways. I was making a small text, try to get the comma next, OMG, comma had to be small and when I say small, mean small. Those boxes are a bother to even see my comma, locate at the right spot bc that what you see, the corner boxes and if by mistake try to move n not grab correctly, it stretches my item 😡
I can't find out how to use the print and cut

Hi, I placed a name in design space on the far right of my mat and horizontally. But when I click make it it ends up somewhere else I do not seem to be able to move or rotate it. Please advise!!
You move and rotate on the make it screen by clicking the design and using the corners to move it. However you can also attach it to a square or rectangle behind it and that can help hold it in place

@@CorinneBlackstone Hey Corinne. On a different note. The category to the right of font in design space that is for the type of font, Bold italic regular etc..I have seen the different categories pop up in the past, but now it is locked on regular with a check mark next to it, and I cannot figure out how to get to one of the other choices. There no longer appears to be any other options in the drop down. Just Regular!! Also if I were able to click on one or the other, when possible, will it automatically change the type of font thickness etc for whichever Font I choose? I'm confused how that feature is supposed to work, thanks so much!!

It says personalized profile background switch between live and beta versions(no clue the difference) keyboard shortcuts

@@melody4you98 keyboard shortcuts are the hot keys I talked about. Profile background literally just means you can change the image on your profile didn’t feel the need to share that and live and beta is under settings I did forget that one

Does anyone think Jen Maker works for Cricut, the Cricut Maker has her last name “Maker” ?
It’s just a coincidence but she is a huge cricut product expert which means cricut provides her with materials, machines, whatever she needs and she then uses in her videos. Cricut does not allow people to speak ill of their product if they are a product expert which means you will only hear “good” things from here and not full honest reviews of cricut products. She also receives commission when people shop through her links and use her codes with Cricut.

Well now I know why my offset wouldn’t work. Dear cricut fix was broken stop changing stuff for no reason.
I can’t stand the new update! I find it very dumb the new box. Leave well enough alone. Always messing things off.
Thank you for the video, but I bought a Cricut machine for the ease of doing things. They’ve turned it to crap. Put it back the way it was. If I wanted a Silhouette machine , I’d have bought one. Don’t like the changes. Make it simple again. PLEASE.
