    Not only your boats are near perfect, but the presentation is very inteligent and owner's oriented!

    Videos are well done! Best from any manufacturer across the globe. In 9 years time, I’ll be looking for my retirement boat and I’m confident this is the one. Cheers and thank you

      If I was in that position it be one of these aswell. It's just better than everything. Shame it's about 8 times my budget lol. But for you yea sell that house and go mate .
      I'm 38 now want to be on a boat by 40. I'm not putting everything I scrapped together into a house. The recession is coming it will go negative equity and I will lose it . So moody 35 probably

    The throttle design is Nice!

    • @SiriusYachts
      @SiriusYachts  4 года назад +4

      Yes, I love it. It´s a feature from Spinlock and works nice at the inside helm (take it out to avoid accidently pushing it or children playing on it) as well as outside (having it in only when under engine). When sailing or in harbour, you just take it away and when using it, it`s just where your arm end up automatically without looking when reaching sidewards and on the optimal height. Still some people like what they are used to and can get a normal throttle on the stainless steel pedestal upfront of the wheel...

      Thank you very much for this generous vote! I am glad you like it! Within the last 11 years the Southampton boat show and the UK have become our biggest market and great fun to spend 5 weeks a year over there. Beautiful country and the most charming customers. Hope this comes back to strength sometime after Brexit... Have you seen the video voting us: SIRIUS 40 DS (Best in Show - Only our opinion) Southampton Boat Show 2017? ruclips.net/video/OV-VIx_Cbx0/видео.html

      @@SiriusYachts I have no doubts about it. With his line and comfort is the perfect boat for sailors that need to face cold weather and rough sea, maintaining the possibility of moving to the Mediterranean sea or sailing around the world at the same time!

      @@bobbonetto Yes, most of our customers seem to feel like this and the majority of boats is built for blue-water- or extended go-anywhere cruising and living on board. ...I might be a bit biased, but if it comes to this I do always wonder who would build ...or buy ...or even rent a holiday cottage …..overlooking a nice lake .................. with no windows???

    The right way to do things but it always amuses me when I use high revs for a burst of prop wash and heads pop up all around anticipating certain disaster.

    Very cool!
    What is the speed and fuel consumption in march speed and under full throttle?

    • @SiriusYachts
      @SiriusYachts  4 года назад +3

      we usually run with less than 3 litres an hour but if you really go for full you will probably excide 6 litres - but I do not really know. Had never done this for a full tankage

    I am so in love with this boat. Are they availible in the US? Rough cost and options list?

    • @weko6273
      @weko6273 7 лет назад +1

      the base price was around 500.000 euros, but you'll need to add some options to really make it worthy and that will take another 150.000, so around 650.000 will be the average price

    • @SiriusYachts

      Yes, they are avialable all around the world. We just have been with one to the Seattle boat show and hope to be in Annapolis soon. Good day. Is this sea worthy enough to cross the pacific sir?

    • @sebastianbremer8842
      @sebastianbremer8842 8 лет назад +3

      Of course. It`s a Sirius 40 ds. People crossed the pacific on much shorter boats. And in northern Europe these boats are famous bluewatercruisers.

    • @TCSkiFilms
      @TCSkiFilms 7 лет назад +4

      Jayson Beslig Also what I wanted to know... Does the twin keel set up perform as well or better in rough seas and high winds? There are lots of 40 footers that are able to do blue water crossings but not all of them handle or fare well in high seas and strong winds.

    • @SiriusYachts
      @SiriusYachts  5 лет назад +3

      Yes, Sir, they are indeed specifically developed for this! There have been an number of curcumin-navigations on older yachts even. Some Atlantic crossings. Recently a 40 DS was collected by the owners in Germany and sailed straight back to Vancouver via Canary islands, Caribbean, Panama Canal, Galapagos, Micronesia, Hawaii

    • @SiriusYachts
      @SiriusYachts  5 лет назад +6

      @@TCSkiFilms you are absolutely right! But this is pending on the hull shape and level of weight stability, rather than the keel version you are choosing your boat in, but that`s a different question (if of interest, I am happy to explain why we did what we did). Yes, the twin keels perform likewise in rough seas as they have the same stability rating as the deeper fins. But they also carry more weight to archive this, which makes some motion even more gentle. Only thing is: if you are sailing hull speed 20° heeled (or more) in high waves you might get occasionally some air behind the keel which is forced out with some sound
