it's such a pleasure watching this video, not only because of this amazing boat full of love and genius, but also that Torsten Schmidt obviously loves what he and his team has made. Lot's of respect!
Thank you so much for making this video, Torsten! My husband and I have been so in love with the 40DS, but I see that the 35DS is just as impressive (and possibly closer to our budget!). Amazing boats! So well thought out, so aesthetically pleasing!
What a stunning yacht sir, honestly the best thought out yacht I have ever seen, absolutely amazing your design team should have a pay rise..And the workshop blew me away, all in a 35ft yacht superb vessel.
Thanks a lot...and yes, we are prood of the outcome. Behind the design stands a big team who all work with love and passion and thousands of owners ideas. Lots of credit to them as well!
Stunning! After watching this video, I cannot help but wonder at the many, many layout similarities with my dear old Fjord 28CS. :) Anyway, the Sirius 35DS is definitely my dream boat. Maybe one day! Congratulations on an amazing job. It's easy to see how much love and care has been put into this design.
Yes, the Fjord 28CS is an absolutely unique and outstanding design! Thanks for the compliments. Behind this design stands a big team, who all work with love and passion and thousands of owners ideas. Lots of credit to them as well!
I love this design and except for a couple of things, I think it is ideal. The workshop is great to have. The two things I have never seen on a video of any of these boats are a TV and window shades. Those were definitely be required for liveaboard and/or world sailing.
We often fit televisions on board, usually in the cabins. Blinds on the inside and sunscreens on the outside are often fitted too - depending on what the ower requires.
Thanks a lot...It´s good fun to share, and easy getting excited about the boat! Behind the design stands a big team who all work with love and passion and thousands of owners ideas. Lots of credit to them as well!
Thanks and yes: Wind and water generators, solar power, LION and LiFePO4 Batteries are quite common today and anumber of our reacent boats have been fully electric in the comfort parts
On the standard Sirius 35 DS it´s an 100 litre front opening fridge with fiddles on the shelfs and an 6 litre ice compartment. Its located under the counter top forward of the double sink. This very boat had a fridge in form of a cool box on a drawer in the same position. Most people go with the “proper” fridge. It is not the best option when on ocean crossings leaning to part but it´s very convenient in most other situations and you can also step down the two steps to the lower level to open it in front of your without bending/kneeling down to get to the last bids or to clean it. Some have a freeze box, doubling as a seat in the workshop. The space under the floor boards in the galley could also be converted to cooled space, but in many areas of sailing its cooled naturally ;-)
Thank you very much! I am glad you like it! As prices and standard equipment’s are changing over the years and Sirius hopes this sympatic this video will still be available in 10 years from now we try not to post prices in the internet. If you scroll down the comments you will find the same question and various answers to it. But if you like to really know, please feel free to contact Sirius via our website www.sirius-yachts.com and get the actual price list, additionals and what the standard price contains
Yes, indeed. They were developed for this! There have been an number of curcumin-navigations on older yachts even. Some Atlantic crossings. Recently a 40 DS was collected by the owners in Germany and sailed straight back to Vancouver via Canary islands, Caribbean, Panama Canal, Galapagos, Micronesia, Hawaii. A second one just arrived in Barbados
You'll find the mainsheet attachment on the boat is far stronger than the blocks and shackles than make up the mainsheet (which are rated well within the SWL for that size of yacht) and more substantial than the fitting on the end of the boom. The shackle on the mainsheet is the one used by the manufacturer for the blocks it supplies and is, again, well within the loads found on that size yacht.
Sorry, we don't publish prices in the comments on social media. We do, however, have the prices on our website (and an explanation why why don't publish prices in the comments) here: www.sirius-yachts.com/how-much-does-a-sirius-yacht-cost/ We hope that helps?

Thank you very much!! ...and as the 35 offers the internal space of a 41" yacht she fits to many originally thinking bigger...

I hope to be able afford one eventually.
Looks like an outstanding place to see the world from.
Very well thought out and efficient layout capturing all odd spaces
Thank you! Glad you like it!
I will be a customer, hopefully soon I can call you. Magnificent craftsmanship Torsten.
Thank you very much for the compliments! you are very welcome!
Fantastic design!
I love this boat!
This is probably my favorite yacht. I'll likely never afford one, but when I find a project boat to refit, I'll probably mimic some of these features.
You are very welcome! Thanks for the compliments!
...phänomenale Raumlösungen!

A very well designed sailboat. How are holding tanks installed to prevent bad smells. Show engine room and oil change and maintenance
Dieses Schiff ist auch mein verwirklichter Traum zum Segeln und Leben an Bord Skipper Felix Buser
Very nice! Do you have an option for a very large LiFePO4 bank, electric drive, and induction cooking? Diesel and gas free?
Thanks and yes: Wind and water generators, solar power, LION and LiFePO4 Batteries are quite common today and anumber of our reacent boats have been fully electric in the comfort parts
Very estut observation about crew not necessarily being in love with sailing and weather.
;-) ...just thinking ;-)
SOLD! Where was the refrigerator?

Is that the twin keel version?
Yes, both. The 1,3m shallow one we are filming from and the 1,55m performance Twins the blue 35 is drying out in the background on
Gibt es von dieser Jacht auch eine 3 Kabinen Version? Würde mich sehr interessieren.

future's yachts will follow her geometry
How tall is Torsten Schmidt? (To get an estimate if I may fit, too. I'm 2 Meters tall...)
has anyone crossed oceans with this ?
Yes, indeed. They were developed for this! There have been an number of curcumin-navigations on older yachts even. Some Atlantic crossings. Recently a 40 DS was collected by the owners in Germany and sailed straight back to Vancouver via Canary islands, Caribbean, Panama Canal, Galapagos, Micronesia, Hawaii. The main sheet is attached to what? A big breeze and an accidental gybe that thing is toast.

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info
A boat with a man cave. Fantastic boat.
