I have watched this video many, many times and finally embarked on executing this for my home theater room. The effect is incredible - and incredibly time consuming to achieve haha. I must be slow, but it's taking me 90-120 minutes per tile to upholster, poke, thread, and glue, and clip all the fibers. I have 25 2'x4' tiles to do, so I'll be living in my basement for a while to get it finished. Kudos to you for an excellent tutorial, thank you!!
It would be maybe even better if the drop ceiling frame could be sprayed black to get the consistent back sky effect, but that would require to take either all panels out or section by section to spray the frame. I do understand if this could not or cannot be achieved. Overall, this is hard work already and great result!👍
That is so cool dude, nice work. I am working on making my pop machine landscape come alive and this is an idea for consideration. Really like it. Only thing I would have added is to paint the frames black so that the ceiling looked cleaner. But maybe you had a reason for that...
Very cool! Any recommendations on light modules that you've had good success with, features that are worth it, or the ballpark cost for a quality product?
Amazing! Few questions.. Would it be easier/more efficient to... -cut angles before inserting strands -use a long thread hook to poke and grab the fiber optics. -hotglue in lines instead of one by one - trim strands with electric hair trimmer Thats what I would do but.....I also get ahead of myself and mess up with my "great ideas" ideas!
Amazing work looks fantastic and great detail on the description. (Love the kids in the background 😂) How do you link all 3 modules together to turn on at the same time is it in the app or something please?
Yes all three are grouped together in the app, and even with the remote since all of the light engines are next to each other when you use the remote they all change together. Thanks for watching
We didn't have the modules connected, but all of the receivers are close by and all change when you point the remote. They are all also grouped controlled via phone app
Unbelievable this guy is a fucking genius! Beautiful way to take a 1980’s drab stop ceiling into the 21st century and beyond I absolutely love love love it

It is indeed very time consuming but worth it! Enjoy your build! Thanks for watching
This would have been a good project during the pandemic lockdown.
What do you do if you have a regular ceiling?
"Light Engines" I never knew the correct name for that module. Very cool! I like it! I like it alot!

What material would you recommend for a space where they don’t have ceiling tiles, for example in a hometheater room
Very cool! Any recommendations on light modules that you've had good success with, features that are worth it, or the ballpark cost for a quality product?
Would it be brighter if you wrapped the main fiber core runs in some kind of reflective tape or material to stop the light loss into the ceiling?
Holy Crap!!! kudos to you!! That looks AMAZING!
Thank you!
Good job sir thank to you full video ❤
Great Work.. BEST EFFECT.. whats the room size and how many motors You used?

Great! It requires a great dedication and hard work!

You wouldn’t hot glue in lines because it wouldn’t be hot enough

Looks sweet, nice work. These kits were all the same size strands, correct? I know some come with a mix of 2 or 3 diameter strands.
Yes these were all the same strand size. Thanks for watching!
What Brand did you use of fiber optics? Can you put a link for them? Also, is everything still working well?
how much heat can these fiber optics resist before melting?

Thank you!
Can we just use much whiter fabrics or sheets for ceiling instead of use pure black fabrics?

@@soundheadquarters Do you use the scrap pieces for other projects?
这个实施起来太麻烦了,那么好多的光纤线头,处理这些头太费时间了,这是大家不使用的原因!
I have way better Light engines for fiber optic headliners
