I'm going through the Hardest part of my life right now - with the cirrhosis of the liver ( it was passed at birth, Not from drinking ) . I'm on disability, I am dependent on others , living with my aunt right now. I don't even have my own transportation right now. I'm lonely, I get depressed, and the highlight of my day is my yoga practice and I'm grateful for the regained strength that I now have to do them. In March, my husband was diagnosed with cancer at only 29 years old and your yoga offerings have been a true anchor as I move through this emotional season of my life. Amazing practice! Maybe my favorite ever?! Wow. It feels like I've given myself a long hug with this practice. My boyfriend is coming tomorrow, so for today I will clean the apartment a bit and tidy it up before his arrival. But thanks to this practice, I will do it calmly and lovingly and intentionally. Not just rush through it or try to do it all perfectly. I also have a bit of a cold right now, so I will stay mindful of my body today. Take breaks and relax when I need to and keep a nurturing mindset. I love you Allie! You are doing wonders 🙏 And I absolutely adore when you come onto the mat for a practice with us, when you are at a raw/tired/vulnerable state as well. Somehow those moments with you always lead to the most caring and holistic practices.

I did this early in the morning after a bad night with very little sleep. Didn't realize it at first but it was almost as if I was mad at myself for not sleeping well. This practice helped me to let go of all that and seeing the day before me in a new light. Yes, I am a bit tired from lack of sleep, but that doesn't meen that it can't be a good day anyway 💜 Thank you so much Allie! Would love to see more more mantra practices btw 🤗

I got covid this week and I think it's a greater call to slow down. This practice absolutely left me feeling held and calm enough to spend the rest of the evening moving slowly and intentionally. I will turn off all screens and focus on getting a restorative night's rest with a nice read and meditation before drifting off to sleep. Thanks, Allie :)

This class was just what I needed, after some time off from yoga asana I was feeling stiff, tense and truthfully a bit mad at myself for not having carved time to flow. I absolutely loved starting my morning with this restorative but powerful class, and thanks to you I'm giving myself permission to soften. I was able to go so deep into each pose and literally felt all the tension oozing out of my body with each exhale. PS LOVED the box breathing will going to keep reminding myself to box breathe throughout the day when I feel myself unravelling.

Hi! I needed this today maybe a little more than most after four shifts straight as a server, and juggling home life with the fam. I am going to use this recalibration to work on my writing today and creating- as I try to ignore the cleaning or not as much of it. Quick question- when I was in yogis pose I couldn’t balance and sit atop the block. I’m general, should my feet be completely flat in yogis pose? I usually am on my toes a bit- guess I’m still not flexible as much as I’d like to be. Thanks Alli! Appreciate you ✨

It's very difficult to provide advise on this platform, as I cannot see your body in motion or know it's history. Generally in yogis squat your feet stay flat, you may have to play and adjust how much you turn you feet out. Please be easy and gentle with yourself, explore about 60% of your efforting on the mat and come out of any postures that create sensations of pain, impingement, or compression. 😊

I'm gonna stop berating myself for the sunburn I got yesterday. And ask myself why I forgot to put on sunscreen in the first place (going through an emotional time/heartbreak on top of being sick all last week) and extend myself some grace
