That boat doesn't belong on the hill. BMW has fallen so far thinking that the XM makes sense in any way.

Was relieved to see he walked away from the wreckage unscathed. But haven't we learned something here about the laws of physics and perpetually adding weight to these electric vehicles? How about just going back to making lighter cars with traditional engines that can use cleaner fuels? Everyone's a winner.

It’s so cool seeing this in documentary form! I’m friends with Matt’s son and I remember him talking about how absolutely scary it was knowing there was a crash but not knowing who it was and if they’re ok.
Also, the other girl who hugs Matt after the crash is a family friend! She’s my older cousin who went with them on the trip lol

The added-in sirens with the wreck was just unnecessary. You have nice editing, and the silence after a wreck is way scarier than cheesy fake sirens.
Although given the people you're probably trying to sell these to, I guess I'm not surprised you'd slip those in.

The driver was not familiar with the car beyond the limit so he didn't know what to do when the car understeered off into a tree. The SUV has too much weight on the nose.
He entered the corner too fast and began the turn prematurely, which led to the wrong arc. It's definitely a case of driver error, but it's also possible they lacked practice on this particular track. That corner does seem quite tricky.

Having a stripped down BMW with a roll cage doesn't show anything. I'm sure if they invested in the roll cage they also tweaked the suspension and engine as well. Seeing as how this is BMW marketing there's a lot they're not telling you and the stupid people will think their brand new BMW will do this same thing. I'm telling you IT WILL NOT!

Next time, don't accelerate and don't press the car brake on a slope at high speeds because you loose grip very easy! He suppose to apply brake before that slope and drive safely all the time.
Looks like it developed a "push." Looked like he had the steering wheel turned to the left looking at his hand(s) and it kept going straight. Maybe a tire problem. Glad he's ok. Keep diggin' you'll get it.
It’s called understeer. What else do people expect from a ‘performance vehicle’ that weighs more than 2.9 tonne!
It seems the incident was primarily due to driver error. The crux of the issue looks to be the driver's approach to the corner - entering a turn too quickly and starting the maneuver too early, which resulted in being on the wrong arc. It's possible the driver wasn't familiar with the track (or just not with this heavy car). Thankfully, he's okay, which is the most important thing. I wouldn’t blame BMW for this, looks like the car is very safe as he got out without a scratch.

This was just an amazing look at a car that has all the qualities I have been dreaming of. I was mesmerized by the details of the commercial and could not stop watching. I am all in .
