Yo, thanks so much for the kind words! We originally wanted to do the tug of war on pavement, but our buddy who owns the Cybertruck said he wanted to wait a while until we go all out, so hopefully soon!
If the Cybertruck wasn't a "Tesla" it would be considered the ugliest vehicle ever made (or at least tied with the Pontiac Aztek) and you know it. With it being a unibody design, It's not even a truck. It's more closely related to an SUV with a built in covered bed. It's more like an old El Camino or even the new Hyundai Santa Cruz. The bed of a truck should always be separate from the cab. Not to mention the awful build quality. Several of the body panels/trim are literally just glued down. They should have done what Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC and Rivian have done and kept the "truck" build quality and looks with their EV trucks. There's a reason why pickups are the #1 type of vehicle sold in the US. We love them. Elon made sense with his car lineup. They all look like cars/crossovers. Then he designed his truck while drunk and decided to design his "truck" like a weirdly shaped Lego piece. I love Tesla but he definitely screwed up with the Cybertruck. They were just released and are now being sold used everywhere. They can't give them away

Also, check out the video we released this week where we put the cybertruck against the Raptor R in more off-road tests (suspension, articulation, climbing, handling etc)
These “tests” were laughable. While I’m sure they were fun they don’t come anywhere NEAR to comparing the real capabilities of these trucks. Let’s see that same drag race on REAL off road terrain with ruts and whoops. Pretty sure there would be a CLEAR winner.
Kind of stupid to race a electric vs a ICE, its obvious who will win, even a M3 performance would toastt the Raptor, Raptor is just a different beast, Cybertruck has a few hours out there before it takes a shit, i wouldn't want to be in the CT if bad weather and extreme heat for too long, and i own a Plaid and a Raptor R... just not a apples to apples comparison at all...

@sterlingswildwest Nothing personal. Ever since the CT has been released, it's been silly, unreal extravaganza after another. Most "cake eaters" simply don't do crazy things with our everyday drivers. Why would you. Most "cake eaters" don't have extremely rich relatives or patron accounts. I'm not impressed with going worp speed. I've been there done that in old school vehicles, none that cost more than $1500. Did the side by side. "Let's see who's fastest" in two wheels, large number of CC's VS gears VS an astonishing lack of common sense. Sand and dirt can be abrasive in places that don't like that kind of thing. It can hide, you'll never find it till-. If I had a $120 k just laying around waiting for something to do (I don't, never will), and I was suffering from extreme brain damage and was hallucinating a lot and and found I had somehow bought a CT, chances are it would not ever do silly things, most likely after I recovered from the brain damage, it would be in my personal well guarded and alarmed museum.

There is something to be said for a metal truck with no coatings on it.
If you can't see how scared some people are of a truck this advanced, this capable, and this tough, that just means you are more gullible than your average person.
That was a Dual Motor Cybertruck, not the faster Cyberbeast with three motors! And it didn't even have the front and rear locking differentials engaged for the tug-o-war! These guys wanted the pricey Raptor R to win so bad in the off-road 1/4 mile, but it still lost. The sound of that performance V-8 fooled them into thinking it was powerful, LOL! The three motor Cyberbeast (which still costs less than the Raptor R, would have smoked it even more).
lol it’s ok to like both. I own both and love things about both. The CT can win in a straight line but the raptor kills the CT in high speed off-road. It’s an apples to oranges comparison and it was fun seeing the feud between the all ICE and all EV crowds. 😂
Cyberbeast will end this toronto raptors
Just wait a few years from now when the "dumpster truck" (cyber truck) has to have it's $25k, or more expensive, battery replaced!!!
@@daleclontz5421 You don't know much about electric vehicles if you think the batteries would need replacing in a few years. Especially batteries in a Tesla, a company that has batteries down to a science. They will last 250,000-500,000 miles, more than your gasoline powered combustion engine. Do you warn people about buying a new gasoline powered truck too (because the expensive engine/transmission will wear out soon? LOL!
@@ZipZoomZip
You got here too late to tell me that gas powered cars can't go the distance.
I had a '92 Ford Mustang that had over 450,000 miles on its original drive train (2.3 4 cylinder, 5 speed).
I had a '85 Ford Ranger that had over 350,000 miles on its original drive train, 4 cylinder, 5 speed too.
My folks had a '86 Crown Victoria that had over 300,000 miles on its original 302 engine.
They also had a '71 Ford Torino, car I took my driver's license test in, that had 500,000 miles on its original 302 engine as well.
Maintenance is everything.
Damn bro the hills have eyes
Haha, i've heard of that show, never seen it
Every comment says “this isnt the cyber beast” 🤓
Lol
It’s not. It’s the dual motor. It’s a beast all the same 🙌
i hate when people do a dual motor comparison when it should have been a cyber beast compairson...
Thanks for the feedback!
I like that station wagon 👍🏾
Absolutely!
Raptor R forever and ever
Super cool!!!
Hey Mike, thanks for the support man! Love you guys!
Now matter how good is the cybertrush ill still be with ford
@@g.s946 right? 🙌
Electric torque is superior to internal combustion but they need to make big improvements in range. Both trucks are ugly.
All true except for the Raptor being ugly 😂
Ivan is way too cool.
He is, without a doubt, our favorite person!
I actually thought Ivan was the actor Bruce Dern...
Remade Title: Brick that’s fast Vs. Baja truck
😂 love it
Since when has a drag race and tug of war been the ultimate off-road test exactly?
Thanks for the feedback!
Most of these reviewers don’t know how to Offroad. Cybertruck is definitely a capable truck. Over slow rock crawl it’ll take it. Raptor is a faster truck at high speed off road. I’d love to have both.
Next time bring a Tesla Plaid to compare with a Chevrolet Corvette on a mud terrain and crossing river. WTF dude, drag race to comparing off road trucks?
Thanks for the feedback!
Dang I wish I wanted to own anything GM. Thanks for watching man! 🙌
All the haters, guess which vehicle is actually made in the USA
@@f87115 right?
I'm sure everyone in the comments prefers the Raptor R
It’s crazy polarizing actually. It’s pretty split but I seem to be in a class of my own. I like them both and enjoy driving them both in their respective environments 🙌
We are going to compare a mid spec cyber truck against a top spect f150. =] honesty through disclosure

Pls repeat tug of war, didnt seem right
Yo, thanks so much for the kind words!
Thank you for that comment! It is an odd vehicle
Tug of war on asphalt
Didn’t want to do that to Ivos brand new truck but watch the next episode to see why 😂
Rough take really. Off-pavement tug of war and a race on some flats…
Right?
Thats not even the cyberbeast.
Correct, it's the foundation series dual motor cybertruck.
Cyber beast ?
Nope just a regular beast but a beast all the same 😂
@@sterlingswildwest holy crap that’s impressive for just being the dual motor cyber truck 😂, wonder how the R would do against an EV lightning with Extended Range pack as that one is pretty similar to that cyber truck… I have one if you wanna do some testing 🤣

Well there’s a lot of truth in that comment 😂
I'll take the dinosaur all day. But hot off the thr goat Elon 🐐...
You didn't need to go clear out to the desert to race those trucks. Where was the real off-road duel? Of course the electric truck will beat it in a race, now hammer them through the desert and see which one wins.
Heck yeah! 🙌
Also, check out the video we released this week where we put the cybertruck against the Raptor R in more off-road tests (suspension, articulation, climbing, handling etc)
Go bash it through the desert trails
Yes! 🙌
7:51 😂💀
These “tests” were laughable. While I’m sure they were fun they don’t come anywhere NEAR to comparing the real capabilities of these trucks. Let’s see that same drag race on REAL off road terrain with ruts and whoops. Pretty sure there would be a CLEAR winner.
Thanks for the feedback! Stay tuned we are doing more off-road comparisons in future vids. Wish the CT was ours so we could have beat on it more 😂
Kind of stupid to race a electric vs a ICE, its obvious who will win, even a M3 performance would toastt the Raptor, Raptor is just a different beast, Cybertruck has a few hours out there before it takes a shit, i wouldn't want to be in the CT if bad weather and extreme heat for too long, and i own a Plaid and a Raptor R... just not a apples to apples comparison at all...
Did we say it was an Apples to Apples comparison?
BUSSSSSES!!!😂😂😂
I didnt think the raptor would get gapped that bad! H@ly shit lmao
Right?! But put them together in the mile and things would be different!
@@sterlingswildwest it’s just wild to me how hyped up that raptor R is and to see it get destroyed like that blows me away. I thought for sure the “R” would’ve drug that refrigerator. Ford needs to try again.
@@sterlingswildwestWell that is only because the Cybertruck is limited to 114mph and the CyberBeast to 119mph which is its trap speed in the 1/4 mile. Without those limiters it would destroy the R.
@@ChosenMJ Well there is a hack for the S Plaid to get it past 217mph so there should be one for Cybertruck at some point...

Because there’s a quarter million in new trucks and that’s really hard on the running gear 😂
This is not off road, cmon man. Straight, no bumps, hills, rocks, deep mud. Everyone already knows the cybertruck will win in a drag race but do I want an electric truck to go camping in lmao. Plus the thing is just hideous.
This isn’t the only vid we made 😂There’s several CT vids on our page going on several different types of terrains 🙌
"Ultimate Off-Road Duel".. How can u properly offload without passing rocky and other natural obstacles where off road worthiness is properly challenged ?

Meh, so much more you could have explored between the two.
Absolutely. Would have been nice to have access to it for a few more days.
@@sterlingswildwest great job though... Didn't mean to crap on you too hard. Thanks for your work!
This is silly. I couldn't care less about this. 99.999999 wouldn't think about doing something like this with a $120k vehicle. After the clicks end and you want to make a profit off these vehicles on resale, who in their right mind would pay that kind $$$.
What part is the silliest do you think?
