Nothing wrong with that, these Alumacab shell look to be the caddy of shells. A cut above the rest.
This type of camper is becoming extremely popular here in the states, Four Wheel camper just came out with their shell version which is a pop top but AT Summit, Vagabond, and Go Fast Campers are very similar but The AluCab is so badass. The build quality and checkerboard aluminum look awesome!

My dream setup would be this idea combined with the PCOR bed replacement. Take this idea and incorporate the entire bed, as a replacement for the factory bed, and have the front compartment on the PCOR. This would create an actual overlanding camper that is rock solid and look amazing.
The ONLY thing I don't love about the PCOR setup is you have to use a rooftop tent, or external tent, to camp. The things I don't love about this Alu-Cab Canopy Camper is you don't use all available space because you have to fit it onto an existing bed (access doors are smaller, inside space compromised, no way to increase space).
Make it and I'll buy it and I'd wager your market would explode!

2 Questions for anyone that owns one of these tent top units:
1. What is the exterior W”xL” of just the Tent Top from Ali-Can? Doesn’t matter what mathematic system you use, I can figure it out.
2. How much does just the tent top weight?

In the specs online it states the 1.35m height is to the bottom of the door.
The height from the top of the tub is .87m.

When locked from the inside whilst sleeping can someone open it from the outside? May be travelling alone so looking for safety, although may have a large dog for that!!
No. The inside lock is separate from the outside lock and can only be accessed from the inside. Super safe!
@@PeakOffroadEquipment Why do you not offer a lock/unlock mechanism for your canopies? Even your new Contour canopy doesn't lock or unlock from the inside.

You can open & close the door from the inside. Can’t get locked in. Plenty of room. We will be filming a canopy camper build soon. Lots of options!
Well, it is pretty unlikely that someone will come by with a lock and lock you in when you're in the wild.. However, IF that would really happen, you can still open the trap door when you're inside the canopy. Just get out through the tent..
